Eylimi's POV:

--------------------

Toothless nudged me lightly on the hand I had by my side. I lowered my other one from the sky. I turned my gaze away from the rising sun and looked at Toothless. He look up to me with sad eyes. I rubbed him gently under his chin. I turned my head back to the sunrise. Suddenly anger rose inside me. A lot of it too. My face turned to a frown before I turned back to Toothless.

"Come on Toothless. We have work to do." I ordered as I walked away. I was so upset I couldn't even cry. I was so angry I was ready to shoot anything in sight. I was so scared all I wanted was to go back in time. My dad was the dragon master. There hero that changed the world for all dragons! And I'm his daughter. I might not be much but I'm enough to stand up. If anyone's going to avenge him, it's me!

I stomped my way into the town square where everyone stood scared. Afraid with no chief. Mum was no where to be found. I made my way to the small hill right in the middle of the square. Where the black sheep was usually launched. I heard people sobbing and questioning. When they noticed me they all turned their attention to look at me. I closed my eyes before taking a deep breath and breathing back out. I opened my eyes again to face them.

"Listen up hooligan tribe! This last year has been struggling to say the least. We have lost a lot. A lot has been stolen and taken from each of us. But we are vikings! We are tough! We might be cheesy and a little smelly but we have something no one can take away. We have stubbornness. It might sound like a stupid thing to have but it is an amazing gift because we believe in each other! With stubbornness comes fighting. We fight over everything! And if we don't have something to fight for than we are fighting each other!" People seemed to be listening once I mentioned stubbornness. "When vikings want something, they get it done! No excuses, no deals, just stubbornness, just the spirit to do it! When we want something we take it! I might not look like much of a leader but I'm willing to use my stubbornness to take what I want! I want our lives back. I want our best friends back! The dragons!" I stopped there as people began to chatter amongst themselves. "I know I suck at speeches, but what can I say, I'm a viking, we punch not talk." I smiled and a few laughed. "Who would join me, to get our lives back?" I asked. It took a minute but then one stepped forward.

"I'll join you." I heard through light sobs. The crowd turned their heads to where the voice came. I saw mum smiled up to me as a tear ran down her cheek.

"What kind of question is that? I'll join ya lass!" Gobber added as he walked over to mum helping her stand.

"Yeah! I want my dragon back!" Vika and Viko said at the same time.

"Yeah!" People joined in and soon everyone was cheering. I breathed out with a smile as I relaxed. I was so glad I finally got across to them. That doesn't happen often. I slowly made my way down the small hill where Gobber stopped me.

"Wait, there is one thing I believe we do need." He smiled as a tear ran down his cheek at the same time. I looked up to him where he stopped. I breathed out heavily to calm myself.

"Oh, oh, okay." I felt kind of sick. "I'm ready for this." I whispered to myself to encouraged myself. I looked back up to Gobber and gave a slight nod. He smiled a sad smile as mum stood next to him also sad but proud. He lent down to the ground where he rubbed his fingers in the ash covering the snow. I knelt down with my head bowed. I was ready. I really hope I was ready. The crowd went silent. I closed my eyes, scared. I thought about the shoes I had to fill. How can I take a seat that great. But I promised. For dad.

I felt Gobber draw the ash on my forehead. I felt my heart beat nearly out of my chest. When he was done I stood up, I felt so happy yet so sad. I didn't know how to describe it. I looked to my left and smiled a subtle smile at mum who instantly took me into her arms. I hugged her burying my head into her shoulder.

"Vikings! I give you..." Gobber began to announce.

"The first chiefet of the Hairy Hooligan Tribe!" Mum finished for him with a yell. I heard a bunch of cheers. I bowed ever so slightly still scared of the future to come. The thought shook off me though when I remembered dad. I will avenge him. I will get the dragons back and I will save this tribe. The cheers died down as people looked at me for instructions.

"We have work to do." I said to myself but so people could hear.

We stood in the forest clearing where I trained Cloudjumper. I had several targets set up. People stood in a line, looking at their target ahead of them. I walked in front of them as I spoke.

"Okay, everyone needs to forget everything about training dragons!" I announced and people looked at me as if I was nuts. "Training dragons is over! The dragons have showed us that now they try to train us! If we stick to our ways we are never going to get these dragons on the ground. All of you are good archers, net throwers, dragon trappers. You need to bring all that back. If we want to get these dragons on the ground we need them held down so we can then snap them out of whatever trance they are in! Once we have them on the ground then we can train them. Now, these targets are your "dragons" I want you all to show me how you can capture them!" I instructed.

"But we don't want to hurt them." Someone spoke up.

"Ah, this is where I will show you just how to do it." I held up my bow as I fired and arrow. It hit the dead centre of the target ahead of me. People looked at me in shock. "There is a certain spot on a dragons back that when hit they loose control of their muscles and fall. Dragons skin cannot be even scratched by an arrow so if you are able to aim for this spot on its back then you already have the dragons on the ground." I smiled as people looked at their targets ahead now ready to try for themselves. It was good practice to make sure they don't hit the wrong part of the dragon. It would just make them angrier.

They began to try different things with their targets. Some threw nets, others shot arrows. Some looped them with ropes and more threw knives. I walked past where a small girl had her bow in her hand. She was aiming at her target. She had her hair braided in two braids keeping up her red locks. I just watched from behind her to see what she could.......do. She hit the target dead centre before taking out another and hitting it in the EXACT same spot making the arrow previously shot snap it two. My eyes were wide open. She shot another but I noticed it was aimed two high. Before it shot out of range she shot yet another arrow that hit the one in the air, changing its course and hitting the target again! How did she do it?!

"And you call me a fishbone." She nudged the guy next to her.

"Show off." He muttered before throwing a sword. I laughed to myself. This girl had one natural gift.

We were in the arena where there were fake dragons set up. I walked in front of the class with the wood dragons behind me.

"Okay, you men are clearly the tougher ones on Berk." I congratulated.

"Haha, that's right." They praised themselves.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, your job is to tackle the dragons." I smiled as their brave faces turned to shocked ones.

"Say what?" One asked with his deep voice.

"Dragon have a pressure spot that when pressed looses the power of flight. It is located at the end of their tail." I told them.

"Pft, we can handle that!" One of them smiled.

"Okay, this is your practice. Enjoy." I grinned before walking out of the academy where I watched them practice from above. One of them went to tackle the tail of one of the wood cut outs but it moved and he fell on his face.

"What the?" Another one of the men questioned as he then tried to grab the wood cut out but it moved again making him then fall on top of the last guy. I laughed to myself as I watched the sheep strapped to the other side of the wood run around the arena.

"Have you got it?" I asked Gobber as he carried the last bucket out of the back of the forge.

"You think we have enough?" He asked.

"It has to be enough." I stated. There were a few hundred buckets around me about to be pored over Berk. Each one was filled with Scauldron venom from when Gobber has to fix their teeth. Why he never threw it out is a mystery to me but it makes good use now. Scauldrons don't breath fire, therefore their venom is fire proof. Covering the houses in it will stop them from catching flame.

"Well, you certainly know what you're doing." Gobber pointed to me.

"Does it look that bad?" I questioned.

"No, fits you well, I'm surprised it still fits you." He giggled.

"Hold on." I muttered as I took off my helmet. "Okay I can hear you now." I smiled.

"Hahaha! Okay, you're forgetting one thing, chief." He walked over to me with red paint. On one arm he put the Haddock family symbol and on the other the Chiefs symbol. "There, now you look great."

"Feels kind of uncomfortable." I sarcastically complained.

"Hahaha!" We laughed together. I put on Valka's armour she left for me. I'm not sure what it is made out of but it works well I guess. I'm not sure about the helmet but she told me when she gave me the armour that it would be "useful" so I'm just gonna go with that.

Berk was ready. We were all prepared for our next dragon attack. Everything was set and ready to go. I looked at toothless who sat on the floor next to me. He gave me a sad gummy smile.

"Don't worry Toothless. I'll keep you safe. Your the last dragon and I'm not gonna let you get killed." I assured him. He gave me a confused look as if I wasn't understanding something.

"Grrr." He complained.

"Ugh, there is fish downstairs if you want it." I told him, guessing he was just Hungry. How can he eat at a time like this? He nudged me trying to get my attention. "I don't have it, its down stairs." I pointed.

"Grrrr." He complained in a giving up tone as he waddled down stairs.

"Don't worry dad, when the dragons come, we'll be ready." I smiled a sad smile as I spoke to the sky.
