Eylimi's POV:
--------------------
"Dad! Dad!" I called for him as I walked around the forge.
"Over here!" He called. I turned a corner where I look up to see him hanging from the ceiling covering in ropes.
"What happened to you?" I asked looking him in the eye as he hung upside down.
"Just go get your mother so she can give me my sword." He ordered.
"She took your sword?" I questioned.
"Yes, until I fix the squeak in my leg. She says its been driving her crazy and I won't get it back until it's fixed." He sighed.
"Then why are you hanging from the ceiling?" I asked.
"Take one guess." He muttered. Outside I heard a conversation.
"I told you! We need to riders for a Zippleback!" Tuffnut complained. I looked out the window to see Ruffnut in front of him.
"Well, there's no point if there is no Zippleback!" She replied.
"Well, maybe there would be if you weren't off with snotface all day." He muttered.
"Uh, hello? This might come as a shock to you but I'm married!" She yelled at him. "You can't say anything your always with that Tiffany!" She complained.
"Ugh" he replied. As I turned my attention away from them and back to dad.
"They want me to find Barf and Beltch, that's why I'm hanging from the ceiling." He told me.
"So mum won't give you your sword until you fix the leg and the twins hung you from the ceiling until you get the Zippleback." I giggled.
"Ugh, just do something useful and get me down!" He ordered. I walked over to the table where I picked up a knife and began cutting at the ropes. "No not that one!" He yelled before he landed head first on the ground.
"Sorry." I apologised.
"It's not as bad as last time." He muttered, cracking his head and standing up.
"Last time?" I wondered.
"Oh yeah, last time you hung from the ceiling stuck in ropes. Did I ever mention how much I love my spiked skirt." Mum suddenly entered holding his sword.
"Hilarious." He answered sarcastically.
"Fix the leg?" She asked with crossed arms.
"Yes." He replied, holding out his hand waiting for her to hand him the sword. She threw it to him and he caught it. "Thank you." He answered as she walked away with a smile.
"So dad. I wanted to talk to you..." I began but he cut me off.
"Oh yeah I forgot to ask. Where have you been all day?" He turned to me.
"Yeah that's what I wanted to talk to you about." I muttered. "I needed to find the dragons so..." He cut me off there.
"Eylimi! I told you not to leave Berk!" He turned to face me. "....A chief protects is own." he muttered on his face in his hand.
"I know, I know but..."
"Do you listen to anything I say?" He muttered.

"I found them!" I yelled stopping him from cutting me off.
"You did? Well where are they?!" He asked wondering why I didn't tiring them back with me.
"That's the thing..." I continued. "We found these islands one really strangely shaped and the other covered in dragons beyond what you can imagine." I explained. " We followed this dragon to the inside of the island and it peas covered in green. Then there was this person..." He stopped me again.
"Person?" He questioned.
"Yeah, he wore dragons scales and a helmet that hid his face..." He stopped me yet again!
"Did he hurt you?! What did they do? If they did anything I'm gonna..."
"Woah, calm down I'm fine." I said relaxed. "Well...he may or may not have attacked us with dragons to get us to leave but..." I mumbled extremely fast.
"Ah! Well whoever they are they are going to have to deal with me!" He exclaimed.
----time skip----
"Ugh." I sat up as I heard a horn. I must be late for the dragon race this morning. Then i heard it again. Gobber, what fire have you set off now? Finally I heard it one last time.
"Eylimi! Get up!" Dad ordered as he rushed in, barging the door open.
"DRAGON ATTACK!" People yelled as they scattered around outside trying to hide their dragons so they weren't taken away. I ran out the front door and began looking around for Cloudjumper. Suddenly he flew over above me and up into the sky.
"Cloudjumper!" I yelled as I hoped he would turn around and come back. He didn't though, he completely ignored me. I felt my heart break, he left me. I clutched at my chest as i let forward, breathing heavily. I wasn't crying. I was to sad to. I felt betrayed, the whole world falling in from around me. Like there is nothing left.
I looked around me, my hearing went bad as everything went almost silent. I could still hear but not as well. The dragons were different all of them had changed. They attacked us. They didn't look like themselves either though, just like how Toothless can turn blue, all these dragons had their own differences. I saw a Monstrous Nightmare hold out its claws as it dived towards Ruffnut. Its flame like spike running down its back was light a bright green and its claws were longer.
I watched Snotlout push her to the ground as the Nightmare took off his helmet. A Deadly Nadder walked past me as I saw a it cornered a few vikings the root of every spike on it's back was a bright purple. Suddenly it lifted its tail before shooting several spines at the vikings that ducked. The people ran as the nadder flew away. I saw poison literally dripping out of the spikes impaled in the wall. A deadly nadder never has venom in its spikes unless it allows it and never that much if it does.
A Scauldron flew above me. It landed with a thump. The tips of every scale on it's body was a glowing red. Its mouth filled with water as it squirted it out everywhere. It landed in the snow, melting it in a second. Whats happening? All these dragons are Titan? I don't understand why they would be? Toothless is the only dragon that has ever done that and it was to protect dad. What's these dragons reason?

"Eylimi move!" I was suddenly pushed to the ground by dad as a Zippleback swooped over us. I was still shocked and found my body refusing to move from its spot. I realized everything has been taken from me. Now the dragons too. That's it! Something just snapped. I got up and began to run towards the dragon stables. I might as well save any dragons that are left.
As I reached the entrance I was stopped by Toothless who glowed a bright blue, now his back tail wing was also light up. I tried to get past him but he stopped me.
"Toothless move!" I ordered but he growled a vicious growl. "Whats wrong with you?" I looked at him. He tried to push me away but I refused to move.
"Grrrr!" he growled.
"Let me pass!" I yelled. Knowing he has to listen to me he slowly stepped aside, letting me enter. As I entered I noticed all the stables empty. What? How did the dragons get out? I looked over to my right as I see the masked person trying to open another stable to let out the final dragon. "Hey!" I got his attention. He turned to me as the door opened and the dragon inside flew out. that was our last dragon other than Toothless!
"AHHHHH!" I yelled as I charged towards the masked man and swung with a mighty hit with my staff. He blocked as I went to hit again. Once again he blocked. "You cannot take our dragons!" I yelled at him but he didn't respond. I kept hitting and he kept blocking with his sword.
I fought him all the way until the edge of the Hanger where below there was a great drop into the ocean. He put his sword away as he stood on the edge with his hands raised in surrender. I looked at him shocked for a second as to why he surrendered.
He simply waved his left hand ever so slightly as he stepped back off the edge. And fell. My eyes widened as I ran to the edge and went to look down as suddenly a bright red glowing dragon rose nearly taking my head off. It was so bright I didn't even see the dragon. I saw the masked man on the back of it though. The dragon glowed brighter before. It flew away.
"AHHHHH!" I yelled out of anger as I watched the dragon disappear. I ran back to town to help the others. When I reached the square I saw dad with his sword light, trying to get the dragon in front of him to be mesmerized by it but he failed. Suddenly a Toxic Nightshade swooped over me. I ducked as it did but I looked back up to see dad in the claws of it. It grabbed him with a tight grip as he dropped his sword, surprisingly it landed in front of mum. She looked at it shocked as to why it was in her hands and not his. Her eyes widened as she scanned the area for him before seeing him being flown away.
"HICCUP!!!" She yelled running his direction but stopped knowing he was to high up.
"ASTRID!" He yelled back as his voice got fainter.
"No, No, No, No, DAD!" I yelled but I couldn't hear him any more. Suddenly mum completely collapsed beside me as Ruffnut ran up to her. I watched as the dragons flew away, dad somewhere in the middle of them, probably dead by now.
No, this, all this. It cannot possibly be real, nah, nah, I'm dreaming, this is a nightmare. Wake up, wake up! I pinched myself really hard but it hurt so I stopped. "NOOOOOOO!!!" I yelled as the dragons went out of sight, Toothless waddled across the ground ahead of me before collapsing letting his head it the snow. I couldn't breath. Dad cant be gone. No, no, no, no.
I'm left with nothing. Everything is gone. Everything. Nothing is left for me. Valka, Hunter, Cloudjumper, and now Dad. This is torture. It's like my whole world is broken. Toothless is the only dragon Berk has left because he cant fly. The last dragon. What's the point of living? I used to think life was amazing, now it's my worst fears come true. Suddenly I collapsed before I passed out. What is the point of living anymore?

Flashbacks:
----------------
"You go I go!" Hunter grabbed my hand before I continued to Cloudjumper. He stopped me from walking and kissed me to make sure I understood.
-----------
"Be careful, I love you." Hunter hugged me before kissing me on the forehead.
-----------
"I love you." Mum smiled before pushing me into the arena.
----------
"I love you Eylimi." Dad hugged me.
---------
"ugh, but whats the point?" I complained.
"Because a chief protects his own!" he responded.
---------------------------
End Of Flashbacks:
---------------------------
I was splashed with water as I shot up from passing out. Gobber helped me to my feet to get me back to the house with mum.
----time skip----
I sat on the edge of the cliff, Toothless next to me. Just sat, looking over the ocean where the dragons left us yesterday. I stood up and thought of dad. How he was brave, even in the hardest of times. I looked at where the sun rose. I want to be like my dad. How couldn't you want to be someone that great? That amazing? That, caring? I guess I can only try. I promise dad, I'll make you proud. I grabbed my staff tight in my right hand as I raised it to the sky. My other hand still by my side in a fist. I held my staff high, promising... I will be the best chief I can be. because whats the point of living? To protect your own.

Both of them having common interest, Bobby agreed to sign over his services in exchange for phenomenal (draconic) magic. A pretty awesome deal, right? Not so. That kind of power isn't granted without strings attached, and Bobby's practically bound up in them. Following the esoteric laws set forth by magicians , juggling them with the mortal interests he still has to abide by, and finding himself at the beck and call of a fickle and opaque patron makes his life as a magician a rollercoaster of ups and downs.
