"So, Lyssa. He looks great and healthy in there but now that you are thirty two weeks, I am going to go over premature labour signs okay?" Tara asked.
I nodded and she told me all about the signs of preterm labor, but my mind could help but wander to where the hell is my husband? He was supposed to be here an hour ago and he was no where to be found...
Eventually Tara let me leave and I headed to TM to see if he was there. When I arrived I was angrier than ever when I saw him sitting on the picnic table with a beer. I walked over to him and by the look on my face he knew I was pissed. He looked really confused for a minute until I pulled the ultrasound photos from my pocket. His entire expression dropped as he realized what he'd done.
"You're appointment was today." He groaned.
"Yep." I replied curtly.
"Alyssa I'm so sorry I completely forgot and I wasn't checking the time." He apologized wrapping me up in a hug as best he could with my huge belly.
"Well, since it's been so many years since you had to help a woman in labour. Tara is gonna stop by later and explain the signs of preterm labor to you." I told him sighing.
"Okay. How did everything go?" He asked putting a hand on my belly.
"He's still right on track for growth, his cord isn't near his neck which is perfect, his heart rate is one-fifty two." I explained placing my hand over his on my belly.
"That's great baby." He smiled leaning down to kiss my cheek.
"I'm still mad at you." I told him.
"Would it help if I told you that little man's room is done?" He asked smiling.

"Really?" I asked happily.
"Yeah, that's why time kinda slipped away from me. Chibs, Juice, Tig and I finished everything off in the nursery."
"Awe thank you boys." I smiled seeing all of them sitting around.
They coursed a welcome when my phone started to ring. "Hello?" I answered.
"Alyssa! You gotta get home baby. Bring Opie with you." Gemma's frantic voice came through the other end.
"Gemma, what going on?" I asked.
"Just get here." She demanded before the phone went dead.
"Um. We need to go home Ope. Gemma is freaking out and acting weird." I told him with a puzzled look on my face.
Opie looked at me quizzically before nodding. He got onto his bike and everyone else followed in suit. I wasn't sure why everyone was following us home but brushed it off as I got into my truck and headed for home.
When I arrived, Opie pulled in right between my truck and Gemma's car but nothing looked out of the ordinary. I proceeded into the house and still nothing. Opie gave me a confused look but we continued through the house before stopping in front of the back door. I shrugged and opened it up stepping out onto the patio. "CONGRATULATIONS!" Everyone screamed.
The entire back yard had been set up and decorated with lots of blue and cartoon baby faces. I heard Opie's laugh behind me as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I couldn't help the wide smile that crossed my own lips as I looked out to the crowd of our friends and family. Gifts were piled high at the back along with a cake. More tables were set up with assorted foods and Dad stood by the barbeque grilling steaks, burgers and hot dogs.

I turned to Opie, "Did you know about this?" I asked with a small laugh.
"No. I didn't which is impressive considering she had to have gotten this done in the last hour." He told me.
I laughed and shook my head. We joined the party and it was a blast, dad gave me a steak with baked potato and I got plopped into a chair. We played games like guess how big the belly is among other silly things but as I looked around seeing all the happy faces my heart swelled. Everyone here loves us and I loved them just as much.
I rubbed my belly feeling his little kicks calm down. "Soon enough you'll be able to come out and meet all these amazing people baby. All your family who love you just as much as your daddy and I do. You're a lucky little guy to have a family like this. Your brother and sister are always telling me about the things they can't wait to do with you. Your daddy can't even sleep at night without kissing your house and feeling you move around a bit. And I love you more than anything already. We can't wait to meet you little man." I spoke softly to my belly, unbeknownst to me that Opie was close by listening.
He approached me and lifted me out of my chair hugging and kissing me. "Have I told you how perfect you are lately?" He asked me.
"Mmm. Nope but I'll gladly take it." I giggled.
Eventually we moved on to do gifts, everyone getting us custom made baby SAMCRO gear including a crib bedding set. He even had his first cut already and it looked just like his Pops. Torn denim patched and all.
When the party was over, Gemma sent me away to go relax and she kept Opie and the kids to help her clean up. I decided to go take a long warm bath due to the round ligament pain I had in my belly. I laid in the warm water, feeling my muscles relax as my mind followed in suit.
Eventually I pulled myself out of the tub and padded into the bedroom. I threw on one of Opie's tee shirts and a pair of underwear before climbing into bed. The second my head hit the pillow I felt exhaustion over take me. As I drifted in and out of conciousness I heard Opie enter our bedroom, his clothes rattled as they hit the floor before he crawled into bed with me.
He kissed my belly before wrapping an arm around me. He kissed my cheek softly before settling down in the bed. "Goodnight Ope." I whispered groggily.
"Goodnight Lyssa. Goodnight baby boy." He replied yawning as he rubbing my belly, before we both drifted away to dreamland.

This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
