《Hellishly Angelic || jjk ✓》chapter twelve

I'm playing with a small stuffed bunny when Haru comes out of her closet, now wearing a cropped sweater.
She looks at me and giggles, "Ah, I see you've met Bun Bun."
I smile, "Bun Bun? That's what you named it?"
She smacks my arm, taking the bunny away from me and placing it back on her bed. "Don't make fun of its name. My parents gave it to me when I was like four and I just kept it with me since."
"Aw, that's cute. But you should've named it Jungkook. I don't know about you but I think that name is absolutely gorgeous," I say, winking.
She roll her eyes, clearly trying not to smile. "Shut up. Now come help me pack since that's what you're here for."
I ignore her and fall back onto her bed. "Can I sleep first?"
She scrunches up her face, "You're so annoying."
She walks to her dresser and starts rummaging through the drawers, pulling out several different pairs of outfits.
"How many clothes are you taking with you? Your entire dresser?" I lean back against the headboard, bending one leg inward.
"Enough to satisfy me."
She takes out a burgundy sweater and places it next to two pairs of jeans, one pair black and one pair white. She tilts her head, biting her lip in concentration. Woah.
I start fidgeting, heat taking over my body. The longer I stare at her biting her lip like that, the more I feel my pulse quickening.
Finally I blurt out, "What are you doing?"
She looks up, confused. "What?" She licks her lips innocently, not knowing what she's doing to me.
I gulp, "What are you—why h-have you been looking at that shirt for such a long time?"

She smiles, "Oh, I'm trying to decide which pair of jeans would look better with this sweater." She holds up the shirt and jeans next to it. "Which pair looks better to you?"
"B-Black. The black ones," I respond, mentally forcing myself to calm down.
She raises an eyebrow, an action that makes me go wild. "Are you okay?" she asks, and I quickly nod.
"Yeah, uhm, where's the bathroom?"
"Down the hall and to the right," she responds, clearly still confused. I quickly get up and leave the room. Gosh dang it Haru, what have you done?
I'm folding my clothes, placing them neatly inside my suitcase when suddenly my phone rings. Taehyung.
"Hello? Tae?"
"Haru~" he sings, making me smile.
"Yeah? What's up?" I keep my phone pressed against my ear with my shoulder, as I continue to place things in my suitcase.
"So, there's good news and bad news."
"Okay, what's the bad news?"
"No, I'm gonna tell you the good news first: we don't have to act like we're dating anymore."
I pause, setting down the pair of jeans I was holding. "Really? How come?"
"This leads me to the bad news: everyone knows that we weren't actually dating."
My eyes widen as I move my phone to my other ear. "What?"
"Yup. They found out."
"W-What do you mean they found out? You didn't tell them did you?"
"No, you were actually the one that told them. Well technically you only told Kook."
"I told Jungkook? What the heck? When? And how did the rest of them find out?"
"It was last night. You were really drunk and sleepy and just kinda told him. And we were all there too but I don't think you realized it." So maybe that's what I was remembering this morning.

I sit there in disbelief. "Was that why everyone was being all weird when I mentioned your name at the table?"
"Mhm."
"Well why didn't anyone tell me that they knew?"
"Because it would've been more awkward that way."
"Well, what do we do now then?"
I hear him chuckle, "Nothing. We're still the same people, Haru-ssi."
"But that's so awkward." I feel myself cringe from the realization that all the guys now know we've been pretend dating this whole time.
"It's okay. I'm sorry I have to go now, but I'll talk to you later."
"Yeah, for sure. Bye, Taehyung." I hang up the phone and set it down. I run my fingers through my hair, wanting to curl up in my blanket. This whole situation now is just...awkward.
It all started with me mentioning Jungkook. Seriously, who cares if he's with Taera?
"I'm back." He walks in, clearly in a better state than he was in before.
"Have fun in the bathroom?"
"I had a blast. But I thought your soap was candy and almost ate it, but then I was like 'Haru would definitely not keep candy in her bathroom.'"
I laugh. "You're so stupid."
"Yeah, I know. But I'm not as stupid as you, considering the fact that you got so drunk to the point where you spilled the tea about you and Taehyung to not only me, but everyone else."
I feel my face go red. "Okay that was just—please can we never mention that ever again?"
"Okay but why did you say he was your boyfriend?" he asks, but I don't say anything and stand up, finding more things to fill my suitcase with.
"Oh come on, why can't you tell me?" he asks, standing up too.
"You don't need to know." I stretch, bringing my arms up. I bring them back down and see Jungkook looking at me with a smile.
"What are you doing?" I ask as he approaches me.
"I know why you changed into a crop top; to show off the tattoo."
I scoff, "Oh my goodness, I changed into this because it's getting warmer outside." I turn to my side and face the mirror, slightly lifting the side of my shirt to fully uncover the tattoo. I smile, admiring the delicacy of the flowers, "But I guess this is a good way to show it off too."
We're quiet for a moment until Jungkook speaks up.
"Haru?"
"Hm?"
"Can I...can I touch it?"
i was reading over the chapter again and realized that
some parts might be a little confusing, but everything
will make more sense in the future!

The First Rule of Dungeoneering: This will kill you Sylvester Bayes, the 4th son of a small baron, has suddenly had his head filled with the memories and work of someone who had dedicated their life to memorizing every dungeon they could find and designing a new RPG system. Not about to waste these gifts, Sylvester quickly sets out to get rich quick and discover the reasons behind his sudden knowledge. (Please note, this is dressed up actual play from my testing of a tabletop RPG. It is actually how the game has gone and there is a very real chance that anyone, including Sylvester, could die in any encounter. To help make my job easier I am using dungeons written by other people, which is why I have listed this as a fanfiction. I put links to all of them in the chapters where they are relevant.)
