《Hellishly Angelic || jjk ✓》chapter eleven

I open my eyes, immediately feeling my head aching in pain. Hangovers don't seem too bad, but once you have one, it's instantly the worst thing in the world. I squint my eyes as the sunlight beams shine against my face. I curl up in the blue sheets, making myself a protective barrier from the cold. I don't remember driving home last night.
Wait.
Blue sheets? But my sheets are white...
I jolt straight up, becoming frantic. "Who's house is this?" I whisper to myself, slowly getting out of the bed.
Then I pause in horror. "Oh my gosh was I kidnapped?!"
Why did I drink so much last night to the point where I became totally unconscious?! Or maybe...maybe my kidnapper knocked me out before I could defend myself!
Before I can fully collect my thoughts, I hear footsteps outside of the door. I freeze. The doorknob slowly begins to turn and I grab the nearest thing next to me—which happens to be a box of tissues—to defend myself.
The door swings open and I immediately start hitting the kidnapper with the box. "TAKE THAT YOU IDIOT!" I shout, repeatedly hitting him.
"OW WHAT THE—Haru what are you doing?!"
I pause, recognizing his voice. "Oh—Seokjin?" Well I guess this just makes me the dumbest person alive doesn't it.
"I thought I got kidnapped—"
He furrows his brows. "You thought you got kidnapped?! Haru oh my gosh."
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, I didn't know it was you—"
"If it's a kidnapper then you're supposed to take the heaviest object next to you, smack them until they're unconscious, and then make a run for it. Unless there's multiple people. Then you would probably die."
I stare at him, dumbfounded. "Seokjin. What the heck."
"Okay whatever, now you know you're not kidnapped. This is Taehyung's house. Anyways I came in here to ask if you had toothpaste with you?"
I shrug, still not able to comprehend what just happened. "I'm pretty sure there's some in the bathroom."
He gives me a small nod, "Okay thanks." He starts walking out, but pauses at the doorway. "Oh and by the way," he smiles, the piercing on his tongue glinting, "Jungkook made breakfast. You should come down soon and eat." He gives me a wink before leaving.

I run my fingers through my hair, sighing. What would my mom think if she knew I was the only girl in a house with seven guys?
By their appearances, it would seem like I was part of a gang. But if you actually got to know them like I did, then well, they're literally as harmless as butterflies.
To describe each of them I would say mochi, tiny, dimples, bunny, sunshine, shoulders, and rectangle smile. Not really things that you would associate with a group of hot tattooed guys, but still.
I wash my face and brush my teeth, throwing my hair into a ponytail. I pause, staring at myself in the mirror.
I stare at my features, every aspect of my face. My thick, dark brown hair, my brown eyes, and my favorite, the small beauty mark on the tip of my nose. I used to hate it as a kid, but now I've grown to like it.
As I look at my reflection in the mirror, a memory flashes through my head. A blurry memory.
All I remember is moonlight shining on the panes of a person's face. A man's face. It seems so familiar, but so distant at the same time. Was it a dream? Was it all just a figment of my imagination?
I purse my lips and let out a small sigh, clearing my thoughts. Guess I'll never know.
I head downstairs and see the guys already sitting around the dining table. Jungkook stands in front of the stove with an apron on. Awh. He looks cute.
Namjoon notices me first. "Good morning sunshine."
I smile, taking a seat at the table. "Good morning. I'm assuming you guys are just as hungover as me?"
"You bet we are. How drunk did I get last night?" Hoseok asks, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Oh trust me, you were really drunk," Taehyung says, rubbing his eyes.
"I don't think you can necessarily be talking," Namjoon says, earning a scoff from Yoongi.
"Namjoon you were also pretty drunk if you ask me."
"Shut up, you guys were all drunk," Jungkook says, setting a tray down on the table. "Now look, I made waffles for you guys." He smiles his signature bunny smile.
Jimin smiles, "Wow, you might be a better cook than I thought."

"Unless they get stuck to the plate," Yoongi mumbles, bringing laughter out of the guys.
I smile, "Stuck to the plate?"
Jungkook rolls his eyes, "One time I made sweet potatoes and they got stuck to the plate. But that was a long time ago, I've perfected my cooking skills now." He rolls up his sleeves before setting the syrup down on the table.
"Oh yeah? I'll be the judge of that," Seokjin says, taking a bite of out of one of the waffles. His eyes widen. "Wait what the heck, these actually aren't bad at all."
Jungkook beams, eyes sparkling. "Told ya."
I lean over and put two waffles on my plate, drizzling the golden maple syrup over them. I take a bite, and instantly I'm in heaven. The warm waffle practically melts in my mouth, balanced out with the sweet maple syrup creating the perfect amount of sweetness. I lick the sticky syrup off my fingers, feeling like a little kid again.
But there's one thing that would complete this.
"Is there any apple juice?" I ask.
"I might have some in the fridge. Do you want some?" Taehyung asks, and I nod excitedly.
Jungkook walks to the fridge and pulls out a bottle of apple juice. He hands it to me, amusement on his face. "You look like a little kid."
"As a kid, every time my grandma made waffles she would always give me apple juice to drink with it. It's something I still do, believe it or not." I take a sip of the juice, the sweetness coating my mouth.
"That's honestly really cute," Seokjin says, shoving another bite into his mouth.
"To be honest, waffles make me super nostalgic." Jungkook says, taking a seat.
Jimin chuckles, "Same. Jungkook and I used to go to this one place for breakfast like everyday, and we would always get waffles."
"Not gonna lie, this is really flipping good," I say, scooping another piece into my mouth.
He smiles, ruffling his wine-colored hair. "See? I'm not as bad as you think I am."
I pause for a moment, setting down my fork. "Hey guys, what all happened last night?"
Jungkook takes a bite, holding back a smile. "Nothing much."
I squint my eyes, not really believing him. "Really. Nothing happened at all?"
"You were drunk, that's all," Hoseok pours some more syrup onto his waffles.
"Are you sure?"
Namjoon stops eating and turns to me. "Haru, nothing happened."
"Then why is Jungkook making that face?"
Everyone turns to him, and he stops eating, cheeks stuffed. "I literally breathed."
Hoseok scoffs, "Kook is just a weirdo, don't mind him. Besides, why are you so curious?"
I shrug, feeling defeated. "Just wondering." So maybe it was a dream.
"So, after breakfast what should we do?" Taehyung asks, changing the subject.
"Maybe sleep," Yoongi replies, grabbing another waffle.
"Or we can go out somewhere. What if we went ice-skating?" he asks excitedly. At first I'm up for it. Then I realize I have quite a long week ahead of me.
I wipe my mouth with a napkin. "I would love to, but I have quite a bit of packing to do at home and need to finish some assignments before tomorrow. But you guys go ahead."
"Packing?" Hoseok asks.
I nod. "Yeah, didn't Jungkook tell you that we would be going to Jeju?" They all stop eating and look at me.
Seokjin drops his fork. "No. Freaking. Way."
"We're going for a school project, guys. Calm down," Jungkook tells them, taking his apron off.
I raise a brow, "Do you really think we would actually just go to Jeju together for fun?"
Hoseok shrugs, "You never know."
Jungkook scoffs, "Never in a million years."
"And do you think Taehyung would be acting this calm about it?" I ask, and they all turn their heads toward him.
Namjoon sighs, "True. He would be fuming right now."
I'm playing with the hem of my shirt when I notice that it's awkwardly quiet. Too quiet for a group of guys like them. I look up and see all of them grinning—as if they know something and I don't.
"What? Why are you guys smiling like that?" I ask, a confused smile taking hold of my lips.
Taehyung clears his throat, "What? Oh nothing, nothing."
"So Haru, you said you needed to go home and pack?" Jungkook asks, and I nod.
He smirks, "I can help you with that."
