it was weekend

and that meant only one thing

freedom

and it was just fortunate that this weekend a new book shop had opened

it was possibly the largest in Japan (not to large to be a library, however) and according to the news it was going to have the very latest books

and so 4 figures were straight out the doors when breakfast was over

ojiro, midoriya, shoji and tokoyami

(iida and momo were too busy to visit as they had family meetings)

all having their own reasons, as they all had books that hadn't been released yet and hopefully, they would be at the bookshop

"I hope they have martial arts of the ages" ojiro said as his tail swished, he was trying to hide his excitement, but it wasn't working, his face was smiling to the edges

"it should hopefully," shoji said, smiling underneath his mask

midoriya and tokoyami squealing in the inside, listing all the books that they wanted that could on their new wooden shelves

but that was when a sob was heard

all 4 had stopped in their tracks and tried to see where the distressed sound was coming from

"Hello?" called tokoyami as they all headed in one direction

as they followed the noise it started to get louder and louder

turning a corner they had found a small boy with brown hair and a blue shirt and pants crying into his hands, he looked about 6

"Hey, are you ok," ojiro asked as he came closer

slowly all of them came closer

all except tokoyami

it wasn't that he didn't like children, it just seemed off

what was a child doing in a dark alleyway far away from the closest town

and why was he smiling

he was faking it

shoji was the closest and was going to reach out

that was when tokoyami heard his cries turn into laughter

"get down!" tokoyami yelled as he ran to shoji's side pushing the larger male away from the child

"tokoyami what ar-" ojiro started to yell before he saw the boys eyes

they were green and was producing green gas that was directed at tokoyami

"get the kid! cover his eyes" shoji said as he came to where tokoyami was, waiting for the green gas to disappear

midoriya and ojiro did exactly what they were instructed, midoriya using his jacket to cover the kid's eyes

"Stop calling me a kid and release me" a much deeper voice shouted

it was coming from the boy

"oh, this is so weird," ojiro said, his eyes bulging while trying to keep the...petit man

"It just got weirder" shoji almost screamed

within his main arms was a small toddler with a fluffy bird featherhead with red eyes looking at everything with pure interest

all three of them screamed

midoriya had called Aizawa who had called the police to take away the small man into police custody and until they had found out what exactly was his quirk was and who exactly he was

and until they had those answers, the four students were to go back to school

and with the news being broadcasted everywhere (tv's and radio's) it had brought most of 1-A students back as well

"awww, he's adorable" squealed hagakure as she bounced the new baby toko in her arms

he was smiling with glee and was trying to grab random objects

"took, look here, come on," ochaco said as she tried to get tokoyami's attention so she could get his picture

"ah, ah" he babbled as he turned away, reaching out for...something

"what even is he looking for?" asked mina with a laugh

but then his face went from joy to sadness, whimpering making the girls worried

"I know that look, he's hungry," asui said as she went into the kitchen

"well help" called mina

"hold him will you," toru said to midoriya as she legged it out

that left the boys alone with a baby tokoyami trying to munch on midoriya's hair

it wasn't long till tokoyami's hunger got too strong, and he started to cry

kiminari and kirishma tried to distract the new baby with key jingles or silly faces

"please stop took, plus" cried midoriya who was starting to cry himself

"ugh! shut the f!£k up Deku and hand the brat over" shouted bakugo

this got everyone shocked

but nobody questioned it

they didn't want tokoyami to see anything too brutal, he was now a baby after all

shoji kept a strict eye on bakugo just in case he was planning to do something, bakagoish

but surprisingly he didn't

he held him in one of his arms and a book in the other and when tokoyami was secure began to read

instantly it made tokoyami stop, hunger seemed to stop in time

and while they waited for the girls and sato to get back with lunch just listened to bakugo's story

when it was over tokoyami and everyone gave bakugo a round of applause

bakugo covered tokoyami's sides of his head which would indicate his ears and began to shout at the others to "shut the f"£k up!"

lunch had finally started

bakugo and shoji inspected the baby food before letting the mina feed him

the day had continued like such

playing with tokoyami with fake swords and playing pirates and knights, dressing him up as both and always allowing him to win

him falling asleep in asui's arms when he got too tired

"why does tokoyami get to be held but not me" Mineta cried

all the boys gave him a deadpanned face and didn't even give him an as were because of how stupid he was

"ok everyone listen up, we found out what this guys quirk is and who he is," Mr Aizawa said coming into the main room and with an A4 piece of paper

"his name is deeiji, he can de-age a person for 24 hours but due to it he has the body of a child, he got bullied for quite a while and takes his rage out on random people" he continued as he gave a list to momo

"if he is going to be like this then he is going to need a proper place to sleep" and with that, he walked out

the paper was just the materials needed and what they were made out of to make a cot

"guess we just have to make the most of it then," Jiro said as she ruffled tokoyami's feathers

momo had made the cot and let the baby sleep

but when he woke they had the most fun

he would crawl up to the person he wanted their attention

played with toys

played peekaboo

but there were things that they could have done without

tokoyami crawling away and the others trying desperately to grab him away from the dangerous objects (who had left a knife on the floor!)

changing diapers, the teachers intervening so give tokoyami a bit of pride, even in his shrunken state

but there were great moments

like when tokoyami bit kiminari and Mineta's finger when they got too close

and when he was asked "who's a good boy" he turned around and pointed at a group that contained shoji, midoriya and bakugo

they enjoyed it all

but when it was over it didn't mean it was over

tokoyami had woken up in a cot, he had no idea on how on earth he got there and when he asked dark shadow he said he had absolutely no idea (it was the truth)

worried in case he was caught in this situation

but when he went into the main room he was met with all 1-A looking directly at him

boy did they have a story for him
