today was a weekend and everyone had something to do

but today we will be focusing on two individuals in particular

mezo shoji and fumikage tokoyami

the pair was inseparable since day one of school

they were both quite similar and both enjoyed each other's company

and today they were planning to do nothing but enjoy each others company

"what movie would you like to see," tokoyami asked the much larger male as they walked together side by side through the park

"I'm not very bothered" he replied

"well there's this new musical that is in today which I think would be fun," he said as he scrolled through his phone to find times

"what's it called?" shoji asked curiously, he was surprised that tokoyami would suggest something like a musical since they were usually very jazzy and so out of the real world

"Beetlejuice, says it's only in japan for only a little while before it gets replaced by...ugh, music man," he said with a shiver

now that made sense, gothic, supernatural and tackle serious issues without being too serious, and another part told him that it would distract tokoyami quirk for a while so he wouldn't be too..." vexatious"

"Sounds good to me," he said

the musical was a great idea, all three figures (because I'm including dark shadow for once) were all immersed into the show, the music, the characters, heck shoji even found tokoyami laughing at points

making his heartbeat a bit more fast than normal

"That was amazing! I liked Beetlejuice, he was really funny" shrieked dark shadow as the three exited the theatre

"of course you did," tokoyami said as he rolled his eyes

"don't act like he wasn't your favourite as well" laughed dark shadow as reentered his host's body

"did you enjoy it shoji?" he asked happily

"I enjoy everything I do as long as I am with you" he replied

luckily tokoyami's feathers and shoji's mask were able to hide their red as lobster blushes

"likewise" tokoyami sighed happily, as he interlocked his fingers with shoji's

and with that, they walked side by side

"where would you like to eat?" tokoyami asked

"nowhere to fancy, I cannot be bothered waiting that long for food" he replied

"well hawks gave me coupons for 2 free KFC chicken buckets" tokoyami suggested

"Why doesn't that surprise me" shoji laughed

"sigh, he has a serious obsession with that place" tokoyami sighed but laughed also

"don't pretend your not obsessed with something yourself, Mr "I can apple's for days and nothing else" shoji laughed louder

"haha, I'll just share these coupons with someone else then," tokoyami said as he tried to let go of shoji's hand

but shoji just pulled him back

"ok, ok, I'm sorry, please still share with me, you know how hungry I get," he said as he tried to give his best impression of puppy dog eyes

"I know, that's probably why your so big," tokoyami said as he stretched his neck to its limit, obviously a jab at his height

"guess your right on that tiny toothpick" shoji replied, looking straight down at the floor

this friendly banter continued through entering the fast-food restaurant and order until they started eating and starting all over again until they reached back to school

they left early as tokoyami was still worried about dark shadow becoming violent in the early darkness

"Today has been a great day" shoji sighed as he sat onto the common room couch

"every day is perfect when I get to see your face" tokoyami replied as he slid next to the larger male

shoji used one of his hands to wrap around the feather-headed boy, now both of them lying on the couch than rather sitting up

and they stayed that way, huddled together watching rubbish tv and enjoying each others company, with darkshadow making popcorn and being the only one actually paying attention to what was on the screen
