this request was by Particularly Good Finder (please see some of her stories she is really good)
it was another quiet day at U.A. High School, but there was something of
all the students were in the lounge room, they were all off doing their own thing but one question had come to all their minds "where is tokoyami"
tokoyami had shut himself out for nearly the whole day, luckily it was a weekend, but that didn't ease the uncertainty that the 1-A students of U.A were feeling, even Bakugou the most hot-tempered student was starting to become suspicious
"Dammit, what is that stupid bird brain up to," he asked angrily gritting his teeth together tokoyami hadn't been down once for the whole day which meant he had not come down for food or water. The students didn't want to disturb the bird-headed boy as he had always been naturally quite and that them, he liked the peace, so they wouldn't want to disturb him unless it was for a serious reason/mission
"I don't know, maybe we should check on him," said a very concerned Ochaco who had been practising her quirk with a pencil
"ehh, I'm not sure, last time we were at his room he wasn't quite...pleased," said Kaminari who was referring back to the room competition
"yeah, but this time we won't be going inside his room, just knocking on his door to check if he's ok" argued Ochaco
"mhh, fine but it would be weird if we all go up" questioned Momo
"ok so, me, Lida, kirishma and Asui will go see," said Ochaco happily though with a hint of ordering
Kirishma and Lida looked confused and were going to ask why but Ochaco and Ausui instantly started heading up to tokoyami's room so they were left with no choice but to follow
"so what do you think is wrong with him," asked midoriya
"guess we will find out" laughed Mina
upstairs the four figures were almost exactly outside tokoyami's room and when Ochaco was about to knock a mysterious black force pushed her away

"What the-" Ochaco was going to question, but then realized the force was tokoyami's quirk dark shadow
"hey dark shadow" greeted Lida waving his hand at the shadow
"hello" dark shadow replied, bowing his head in response
"what do you guys want," he asked
"We were just wondering why we haven't seen you or tokoyami all day" kirishma answered
"about time, its been so boring being stuck in that room all day" sighed dark shadow lowering his head slightly
this left all four students confused
"what do you mean, can't you and tokoyami just come down, ribbit," asked Asui, her tongue sticking out slightly
"well we can but SOMEBODY won't let us," dark shadow said, shouting at his master's door
"has something had happened to tokoyami," asked Lida with concern
"well yeah, kinda, basically he's just being a baby about something that happens every single year, don't know why he isn't used to it yet," said dark shadow, though it was mainly him talking to himself, or it seemed like it
"ok this is both confusing and concerning," Kirishma said to his teammates, scratching his head
"I know what you mean-" Ochaco responded
then she turned her head towards dark shadow
"Would it be ok if we go in, maybe we can help with..whatever is happening" she continued
dark shadow was silent for a few seconds before saying
"Yeah, he's going to be mad at me, but what can he do, I am like emotionally connected to him so he can't really get rid of me" laughed dark shadow
silence
"heh, anyway, I'll let you guys in just be prepared," he said sheepishly as he returned to his master, phasing through the door
"let's go in then," kirishma said as he reproached the door, twisting the doorknob and opening it
the room was exactly how they remembered, dark and gothic
"tokoyami ?" asked Asui as she came in
"please leave me alone," said a voice
the voice was unmistakable, it was tokoyami, he was wearing a dark hoodie and faced the four students with a sad yet angry face

"I told you not to let anyone in," tokoyami said angrily at his quirk
"well it happens every year, so we may as well get it over with, and beside it isn't everybody " argued dark shadow
"tokoyami, tell us what's wrong, you clearly aren't acting normal" Lida said waving his arms around
"or what normal is for you anyway" kirishma joked
silence
"It is nothing, now please leave to your daily routines, I can assure you that everything is fine," tokoyami said tugging hard at the hood
this at once told everything wasn't "fine"
Ochaco approached tokoyami who was taken back by the movement and tried to back away, suddenly she lunged herself at him, placing her hand on his shoulder
in an instant, he began floating and was turning upside down
"What is the meaning of this" asked/demanded tokoyami, still tugging hard at his hood as to keep his head covered
"there's something underneath that hood that you're not showing us," Ochaco said as she folded her arms
tokoyami then merely sighed
"you really want to see why I've been in my room all day," he asked defeatedly
"yes" Lida answered although it was a rhetorical question
"fine, just don't be too harsh," tokoyami said as he took off his hood
what they saw took all the students by surprise
tokoyami's feathers were bewildering, they were in all directions and some seemed new while the seemingly old ones were either very grey, white or mainly falling out, as he took of the hood there seemed to be feathers pouring out
"just like birds they moult once a year, they itch, leave trails of feathers and look ridiculous, and its embarrassing" sighed tokoyami as he folded his arms, a small blush appearing his face
satisfied Ochaco finally let him down gently back onto his bed
"This is so cute" squealed Ochaco jumping excitedly
this also took tokoyami back, did she just say that this horrible curse was...cute?
"wait, you all aren't grossed out or another appropriate negative reaction" questioned tokoyami in disbelief
"It isn't the worse thing we've ever seen, besides I really don't care about appearances," Asui said with a reassuring smile
"Indeed, it is not a reason why as to isolate yourself and not eat, which as the class representative I must see that you are not starving yourself, " Lida said
"I'm sorry to have worried you, I was just uncertain about the other's reaction as the others could be less...pleasant, so I am still unsure if it is wise if I see my classmates" tokoyami shrugged
"We can fix that, kirishma take a picture of this" Ochaco ordered kirishma
in a sudden movement and a quick flash of light, kirishma had taken a picture of tokoyami's state on his phone and began running to the others
tokoyami only took a few seconds to hesitate before running behind the red-headed boy
"Why did you do that," asked Lida surprised
"it's just like what dark shadow said, he's got to get it over and done with," the bubbly girl said proudly
as they walked down to the lounge they were met with a crowd of 1-A students
tokoyami was asked a series of questions of concern and awe, some tried to touch his feathers, his face was filled with embarrassment while dark shadow came out again to laugh at his master's situation
eventually, tokoyami was able to escape the crowd and retreat to his room
"Hey at least it's finished with, now there's no reason why to hide next time," the dark shadow said happily
"you forget this lasts about a week" tokoyami argued
"well you wouldn't have been able to hide in your bedroom for a week anyway, one of the teachers would have dragged you out in the end" dark shadow argued back
"whatever" tokoyami dismissed his quirk as it came back into his body
what had happened was quite surprising though
Lida and shoji wouldn't leave his side until he finally ate and drank something
most of the girls were trying to feel his feathers
people were asking him some quite weird questions, especially midoriya
and it was mainly Mineta who was laughing although Asui gave him a big slap on the back with her tongue which shut him right up
as tokoyami rested back on his bed he could only think of one thing
"it wasn't as bad as I imagined"

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Just Some Guy
Available in Paperback and Kindle Look, I used to be just some guy… But then I made some changes… My job was like jail, now time and space cannot even contain me. When this whole thing started, well let’s skip ahead. The start of the story isn’t nearly as interesting as where I ended up. It all started with a dead body and an explosion… But what you really need to know is that, I used to be a loser, then I got jacked and went on my own adventure… After the explosion I took off west, expecting, well what does it matter what I was expecting? What I found was an epic adventure! Who would have thought that could happen to a former loser like me? I became a criminal, a musician, traveled through time, battled beings that shouldn’t exist and took part in a high stakes tournament. But that’s not the half of it! My editor says this blurb thing should be around 200 hundred words, but why don’t you just go ahead and buy the book to get the full story? “God does not play dice with the universe.” -Einstein (Sort of) “However, it’s entirely possible he’s using Me as his personal sitcom.” -Some Guy
