it was a fine Friday afternoon, lessons had finally finished which meant the students were allowed to be free

nearly all were outgoing to either watch a movie or simply go to the park

but two students, in particular, were out shopping

"ugh, can't believe we have to get food for those greedy bas!!!ds" shouted an angry Bakugou

"We all agreed that once a week two people will go out to buy food, sato even made a custom wheel with our names on to decide who would go" reasoned tokoyami

"tch, let's just get this over with" grunted bakugo, he wanted to fight but he knew that since tokoyami was so level headed that there was no sense

they were about to enter the shop before seeing a sight that made them take their hero stances

there were innocent civilians taken hostage, and a villain with a big black gun, his posture sluggish and was covered head to toe with a purple and red robe

"HEY" shouted bakugo

the villain faced towards the two students

"This doesn't concern you, two snot-nosed kids, go home, its nap time," he said trying to wave them off

raged filled the two students, there wasn't a lot they would consider to have in common, but if there was one thing, it was getting angry at being condescended

both students suddenly showed the villain their quirks, bakugo let off an explosion that left a massive hole in the wall, which all the hostages rapidly ran out, and tokoyami let dark shadow out of his chest, it was close tonight which meant dark shadow was able to become big, but dangerous

"let's get this over with before I lose control" tokoyami grunted as he tried to control his quirks rage

both began their attack, explosions and shadow attacks hitting the villain as he tried to escape, but it was impossible, his arm snapped in two causing him to yelp in pain

"AAHHHH, THAT'S IT" he shouted as he lifted off his cloak

his body was twisted and mangled, filled to the brim with cuts and bruises

but what stood out the most was a machine mechanism that laid in his chest

without warning a purple flash of light was directed at both students

but it seemed to have not anything

"Wow, great quirk "flashy", but we've already seen one of those back at school" smirked bakugo who finished him of with an explosive fist to the face

but even though the attack worked, causing him to become unconscious, there was still a small smile that laid upon his face

after a while, the police finally came to take the villains away

"what do you think that villain did, it was clear that he shot of something yet I do not feel any different" tokoyami said looking at his hands for anything different, the only thing different was that they felt more sweaty

"Psh, he probably did it to scare us off, make us lose focus," bakugo said smugly

(yeah, keep talking so he won't think your worried) bakugo heard a voice say

"WHO'S THERE" he shouted angrily at the voice, looking around to see if the person was there

"nobody's here, only us" tokoyami said in concern, confused as to why bakugo began yelling, he would always have some reason as to why

(and now he thinks your crazy, great going) the voice said again

"DON'T YOU HEAR IT" bakugo shouted at tokoyami, grabbing his arms and shaking him slightly

tokoyami jumped back, taking back his arms

"hear what?" he asked in more concern

(ok, you're just making a fool of yourself, I'm coming out) the voice said

suddenly a fiery light shadow thing came coursing out of bakugos back

"WHAT THE FU£K" he shouted trying to hit it with an explosive fist, but the burning sensation never came, it was just a normal punch

"ha, your so weak, jeez, bet even that Deku kid could beat you" the light being laughed,

as bakugo kept trying to "kill" it, tokoyami noticed something as well, two things actually, 1, the light thing looked exactly like bakugo, it had a shape of evil fangs near the mouth area including a spiky hair resemblance,

but also he couldn't hear dark shadow, about now he would either try to come out of his body and laugh or at least make a snide comment, especially if it came to bakugo. he kept looking at his hands, it seemed like the sweat just would stop

"I wonder-" tokoyami began as he flicked his hands,

a sweat molecule began glowing

a sudden light came from tokoyami's hands, which bakugo recognised instantly and ran for cover he ran 10 isles away to escape the impact

BOOM

as bakugo looked up from his hiding place (a large box of tangerines), in front of him lay a tip of broken glass, scattered food and one shocked/alert teammate

"WHAT THE F34K YOU SH$T BRAIN!" bakugo shouted as he came walking towards tokoyami, who was still motionless, the explosion left a small creature in the floor but did nothing to him

"hey, I think there was an old lady downtown that couldn't hear what you said," said the light creature sinisterly

"AND YOU CAN FU£& OFF!" he shouted

but instantly the creature went back into bakugos body

(is it just going to roam in there, is it going to spill my organs) bakugo thought as he pounded his stomach to try and get it back out

no luck

then suddenly there were the sound of civilians, obviously curious to see what the whole commotion was about

"I think we need to leave, midoryia may be able to-" tokoyami tried to say before bakugo picked him up, Fireman's Carry style, flinging him against his back and ran

"what are you-" tokoyami tried to shout before he was interrupted by a yelling bakugo

"YOU JUST BLEW UP ABOUT 7 ISLES IN THAT SHOP, YOU CAN FORGET WALKING "

when the two finally got back they were met with all the students of class 1-A including the teachers

"Are you guys ok, we just heard what happened?" momo asked

"we're fine but-" tokoyami tried to say before Mineta forced in asking

"and why is tokoyami on your back"

bakugo instantly dropped tokoyami (luckily it was onto a sofa) and began to smack him across the face

but then the fire demon thing came out of bakugo once again, causing everyone to jump back, even the teachers

"slapping another student because your just embarrassed, real mature of you," it said evily

"SHUT UP" bakugo yelled again trying to hit the spirit

"What is that...thing" shouted kaminari pointing at the thing, while hiding behind Jiro

"a parasite, but it ain't me you should be worried about," bakugo said, lowering his voice slightly

just then the tv suddenly became loud, making everyone look in its direction

"This just in, we have to report that the villain and hero fight this evening (showing a picture of the villain and the two students) has caused a local shop close as nearly 7 isles were seemed to have been blown up, a large crater could also be seen in the centre of the store, back to you Justin"

"wait, I think I've seen that villain before" midoriya muttered as he rushed out of the room, but went unnoticed as all eyes came to bakugo

but he merely just shook his head, pointed his finger towards tokoyami

all eyes landed on the bird-headed student, who was just staring at his hands

"so you guys just...swapped quirks," asked Uraraka

"WHAT DO YOU THINK" shouted bakugo

"I have it, " midoriya said as he rushed back into the room

all eyes were now directed at the green-haired boy

"his name is whoa kan, meaning exchange, it's said he can swap a quirk between two people for 24 hours," midoriya said as he showed everyone the book

"ok, so tokoyami and bakugo, until you're quirks are all back I don't want either of you two out of a teacher or a students sight, I don't like playing babysitter but until this wears off we are left with no other option," said Mr Aizawa

"I DONT NEED TO BE LOOKED AFTER 24/7, I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF" bakugo shouted in protest

but when the light shadow reappeared and crashed into a wall, creating a hole, Mr Aizawa's look told him there was defiantly no chance of them leaving him

"take care," sir said as he and the rest of the teachers left, leaving all the students to face the two students

"soooo... how are the new quirks," kirishma said awkwardly

the day went off with no hitches, that is, if I was lying

every time bakugo either shouted screamed or yelled, light shadow (that was what everyone was calling it) would break out and destroy anything in its path

luckily they found a way to stop this

they thought that light shadow was just like dark shadow except for being more angry and sly, instead of becoming stronger in the dark, light shadow was just as strong in the light, so it was when it was dark it was then it was weaker

there was a point that even bakugo could not handle the anger and light shadow became so wild and big, it would have destroyed the whole side of the building if it wasn't for Momo who created a large cotton cloth-like cover, shielding the light out and becoming weaker

bakugo fainted due to all the rage and anger, and momo and kirishma had to carry his body into tokoyami's room (which was actually the darkest place in the whole building)

meanwhile

tokoyami was also not coping well

everyone had to evacuate to the grounds as to not both destroy themselves or the building

"TOKOYAMI STOP" shouted kaminari from behind a tree

"I can't help it, my hands are sweaty, I feel hot and every time I try to think I just feel them-" tokoyami tried to rant before another explosion formed out of his hands

"HOW CAN BAKUGO LIVE WITH THIS" shouted tokoyami

it was clear that he was stressing, which was making the explosions even worse

which is why they secretly called midnight

"ready when you are" midnight called from behind tokoyami

in an instant everyone, excluding tokoyami, covered their mouths, as midnight released her sleeping scent

this caught tokoyami by surprise, but he didn't have enough time to evaluate as he fell back down to the ground

"ugh, what a day" shoji said as he picked up tokoyami in his many arms (bridal style)

"you said it, the explosions, the shadows, its been fun but I'm happy it ends tomorrow" Mina commented, sighing

and as a new morning came, after an almost peaceful night sleep, despite the angry growls of light shadow and the normal yells of bakugo

including minor explosions coming from a hammock outside (they didn't trust tokoyami inside due to how large the explosions could become, although they did leave him a large pillow and blanket)

when the morning finally came, bakugo was seen running out of tokoyami's room and onto the grounds, sending balls of heat everywhere

"It's GONE, ITS FINALLY F"£$ING GONE" he sang/shouted happily

while tokoyami could be seen hugging and talking to his old quirk

"I thought I lost you, my friend," tokoyami said, little balls of water in the corner of his eyes

"Nope, you can't get rid of me that easily, I was just asleep" laughed dark shadow as he nuzzled his master's beak

although they wouldn't say it, the two students actually felt closer to each other, knowing the type of hardships they had to go through on a day to day basis

"Yo bird brain" shouted bakugo from the couch, he could see tokoyami trying to go to his room to sleep, he turned around to face the blond-haired boy

"you exploded all the food, we're going first thing tomorrow, non-nonnegotiable, Sato's food is too f$$ing sweet," bakugo said/ordered threateningly with a smirk

but tokoyami knew it was him trying to be friendly...at least that's what he thought

"fine by me" tokoyami replied as he began (again) walking to his room
