"What do you mean by that?" he queries.
"I mean, do you like-like me?" you respond.
"Well, you're a very nice girl, and-"
"-I mean, like-like, like you have a crush on me or something. If you don't wanna answer, that's fine, I was just curious-"
"-Yes." He looks you straight in the eyes, his ruby red ones staring right at you.
"Wait... For real? Like, you're not kidding?"
He looks hurt by your comment and replies, "No, I'm serious. You asked me and I responded truthfully. I know it would never happen, I merely wanted to be honest with you."
Realizing your mistake, you say, "That's not what I meant! I mean, I like you but I didn't think you really-" Sh*t. You really do like him. You didn't even know that you liked him. Gosh, this is confusing for you. One minute you're friends and the next, you both love each other. Well, "love" is a strong word, but you know that you at least like each other. A lot.
"...You like me?" His eyes fill with hope as he looks back up at you.
"W-well, yeah, I guess... It's just that you're really nice, and we're pretty good friends, you know? I... think you're really cool. You helped me keep my cool when I was fighting with that jerkface Bakugou, and you saved me in the practical exam. You even beat up a villain trying to steal my purse. You're, like... super awesome."
Both of your faces are a vibrant scarlet. You're even starting to sweat, you're so nervous. He takes a step towards you and says, "I was just trying to be honest. We both know that I could never be enough for you."
"What are you talking about? If anything, you're too good for me! You saved me, like, three different times! I wouldn't even go to UA if it wasn't for you! I'd probably still be recovering from getting crushed by that 0-point robot, and I'd be going to some other high school without my best friends!"

"I thought that (f/n) was your best friend. Who else is your best friend?"
"You, Fumikage." A corner of your mouth curls up into a half-smile as Fumikage tries to respond.
"Wha- But- You- I-"
"(y/n), what're you doing out here?" You turn your head to see your mother, who's unsure of what's happening between you and Fumikage. Apparently, you had stopped right in front of your house when you asked Fumikage if he liked you. Your mother noticed your blushing faces and passionate eyes and now knows exactly what was going on. She smiles and says, "Well, are you two coming inside or are you gonna stand out here all night?"
"Wha-? Mom! I- He- Fumikage probably has to go home! I b-bet his parents are worried sick! I mean, he walked me all the way home and school's been over for a while and- um..."
"Actually," Fumikage remarks, "I already informed my parents that I would be late coming home. They said I could be out as late as 11:00."
"Really?" you ask. "Did you tell them why?"
"No, but they hadn't asked me, so I assumed that they didn't mind my reason."
Your mother opens the front door wide, steps aside, and says, "Then come on in!"
You feel a little embarrassed by your mother's actions, but Fumikage doesn't seem to mind and walks right in along with you.
"Welcome to our humble home," your mother says enthusiastically. "I'll get you two some snacks right away. Feel free to get out a board game or a video game or a movie - whatever you'd like!"
Your mother walks into the kitchen and you plop down on your sofa. "So, Fumikage, what do you wanna do?"
"Do you play video games?"
"Yeah, all sorts. I'll play pretty much anything with a decent storyline or gameplay."
"Like what? I don't mean to be impolite, but I haven't met many girls who enjoy playing video games."

"Really? Well then, you need to meet me." You get your favorite game and show him the case.
"A fighting RPG? Interesting."
"You wanna fight? It has PvP mode." He nods and you set up the video game. You hand him a controller, start a match vs him, and play for over an hour.
After you fight each other for a while, you decide to fight with him vs other players. Just as you finish getting a headshot on one of your opponents, you walk your character over to them to collect their items. "Sweet," you say, "I got a couple heals. You want one?"
"No, but thank you," Fumikage says. "I already have a plethora of med kits."
"Maybe, but these ones are Mega Heal, not Mini Heal."
"Really? I suppose I could use one of those." As you transfer one of your Mega Heal Med Kits to Fumikage's character, your mother arrives with the promised snacks.
"(y/n), Fumikage," your mother says as she walks into the living room, "I made you guys some cookies, little sandwiches, cheese and crackers - lots of good stuff!"
"Thanks mom," you reply. "Hey, look out for the sniper, they almost killed me. I had no idea I was being sniped until, like, half my health was gone. Oh, there they are! Right there! Yeah, shoot 'em!"
"You're welcome, sweetie. Enjoy the snacks!"
"We will. Love you. Bye. Alright, nice shooting! The sniper has been sniped!"
"Thank you, (your mom's name: m/n)," Fumikage says as he continues slaying your opponents with you. Suddenly, you look at the world map and notice that you and Fumikage are the last players standing. To finish the game, only one player can live. You look at him, and he looks at you. You both know what's going down and prepare to fight each other.
Other players who wanted to see who wins are watching the two of you gather weapons, build your defenses, and otherwise prep for the final battle. With only three minutes left until the game automatically ends, you and Fumikage meet up at the center of the map. A bullet whizzes past your character, barely missing your head.
"Darn it," Fumikage mutters as he sets up his character for another shot. You look at the screen, yet you can't find where Fumikage has hidden. Then you realize how to find his location. You look over at his side of the screen, see where he is in relation to you, and toss a grenade right at him. He escapes the worst of it, but he definitely was injured by the explosion. His cover blown, you run up to him in an attempt to finish him off with your best melee weapon. He dashes into a nearby building and you follow closely behind. He turns to face you suddenly, aiming his pistol at you. You try to run over and slice him up before he can shoot you right as the time runs out. You both tie for first place and let out an irritated groan, seeing as you were so close to beating the other person. Fumikage takes out his phone to check the time, then tells you that he has to go. You say good-bye and that you had fun hanging out with him today. You ask him for his number so that you can stay in touch. He does so and blushes furiously as he leaves your house. You still can't believe that you and Fumikage might actually be falling in love.

8 150Golem Armor: Building a Mech In Fantasy World.
He died of old age, surrounded by not people but machines built by his own hands. Join him as he reawakens in a fantasy world, once again, trying his best to reach his dream. A different person molded by his new surrounding, Adrin had to adapt to survive. The journey towards it would be slow as he had to start from the bottom and build everything from scratch. He had to adapt to using unfamiliar tools to recreate the things he had built, or using science to get ahead. The world, however, wouldn’t open a path for him to travel. Monsters big and small, people kind and cruel would stand in his way whether he liked it or not. Author’s note: English is not my first language. For young adults (light adult content, not romance focused). A remake/revamp of an original story. It will take a while before pieces are put together.
