Lilac's POV

His words hurt I had been rejected by my mate the one who was supposed to save me from all of this, tell me I'm Beautiful, have pups, get marked,and just love me but no he doesn't think think I'm good enough of course he doesn't I shouldn't blame him he's the future Alpha of the pack I would only drag him down its better that he rejected me.

I hadn't realized I was just standing there Jared must have been lost in his thought because he didn't seem to notice and that's when I took off to Kelly's room I slammed the door and plopped (only word I could think off) on her bed letting every emotion role down my cheeks ruining my makeup I didn't care he was supposed to love me! Why was I me? Why do I have to be so ugly?! It wasn't long before I heard footsteps coming to the room.

"Lilac? What's wrong?" Kelly asked confused

" he rejected me"

"What!!! Who did?!" She replied both her and her wolf getting angry

" my mate you're brother.. " I replied quietly

"That idiot! I'll ripe his throat out!" She said her wolf Angel trying to come out

" its fine...i'm not good enough for him i'm used to it Kelly...I can live with it..." said trying to act tough

"lilac... you don't understand my moms twin was rejected by and Alpha and she killed herself because of the pain, its really painful" Kelly said

"Kelly i'm the pack slave it would be better if I were dead, I'm lucky I still have my virginity i'm treated like a rogue , worse then a rogue Kelly..worse.."i mumbled

she shook her head " that's going to change i'm mind linking dad I don't care if they think they can threaten you, they will be punished and you're going to be treated well now come on jump in the shower lets get you cleaned up tomorrow we are going to make Jared regret it" she said she slowly undid my dress and let it fall to the floor, I walked to the bathroom and ran a bath and finished undressing then stepped in it felt amazing I relaxed for the first time in years.
