I could see the fear in her eyes and I my wolf was mad that I had scared her I felt bad..but I had to do this not only for me but my pack...I know that this might not be the smartest thing and I know that from what I had heard there was a lot of pain in rejections...but I couldn't just sit there and pretend she was enough for me she never would be enough sadly if what my beta had told me was true then I wanted NOTHING to do with her..if she's a servant then who knows maybe she's a slut to.

'' DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK OF MY MATE LIKE THAT SHE IS AN ANGEL I HATE YOU JARED" my wolf screamed in my head I just blocked him out , as I got closer I was taking in my her sent and the mate bond was pulling us closer together.

" what's you're name?" I asked

"Lilac...." She replied shakely

"That's a really lovely name...I'm Jared...I know you're going to hate me for doing this but I have to...its better for you and for the pack...maybe if I wasn't the next Alpha in line we would be mates...but I can't except you I'm sorry...I Jared future Alpha of the Moon valley pack reject Lilac as my mate and the future Luna..." As I spoke those words my chest hurt and I instantly know that I had hurt her but it was for her own good I couldn't have the pack not respecting me because of their Luna, and besides that many rogues would try to kill her to get to me and I wouldn't want that she's my flower and I have to keep her safe from harm...and that's when I made a promise to myself that I would build up my pack and get her back when I was stronger! But until then I need to make her hate me or they'll take her away from me
