《Fat Forward》Growth

One month had passed since Owen's venture to live a more carefree life. Eating was quickly becoming his favorite hobby, pastime, and need to fulfill. From pizza, to Chinese, to ice cream and beyond, he had fully indulged in his various food related interests.
With this, however, also meant most of his clothing had made the move to the back of the closet.
This doesn't fit right now but I'll keep it just in case.
The sadness of having to put away many of his favorite shirts was easily reconciled by the purchase of better fitting, but just as nice ones; size medium now.
Currently, Owen was sorting through the remainder of his old shirts and and pants and looking to see which could be donated.
I can't believe that I was an extra small last year! I really love this one though so I'll keep just it.
The remainder of unfitting smalls, extra smalls, and below size 30 pants were all placed in a bag to be dropped off later to the local Goodwill. With the extra room, Owen began folding the several new pieces of clothing he had purchased recently and reorganizing a bit.
Once the closet was fully in order, he decided to head to the bathroom and step on the scale.
Just to see what is says is all. I mean, I'm cleaning out the closet so why not?
As he waited for the scale to calculate he couldn't help but feel a little excitement at the possibility of seeing a higher number.
The dots moved back and forth until finally resting on a figure.
172lbs.
"Really?! 21 pounds in a single month?!"
Owen tried not to yell but was shocked at how much weight he had put on. He had no idea anyone was capable of packing on that many pounds in such a short period of time.

The reality of what he had done set in further as he moved to look at himself in the mirror. He grabbed at the rounded stomach that was beginning to form, the bit of fat that had been added to his arms, and his larger thighs.
Suddenly, an idea came to him. He went back to the closet before taking off his current shirt and returning to the bathroom with the extra small he had put away earlier.
This should be interesting...
As he brought the t-shirt over his head, immediatley he could feel the fabric cling to him. As he pulled the shirt fully over himself, the most obvious feature was how the too small piece of clothing accentuated his already slightly protruding midsection. Even his arms felt tight as the sleeves clung to his biceps. Thankfully, the fabric had some stretch so the fit wasn't painful; just uncomfortable.
Just as he was about to make a move to take the shirt back off, another idea sprang to mind.
Smiling to himself, Owen made his way out to the kitchen.
--
When the twelfth and final pancake was made, four of each were placed on a plate and brought to the table along with a gallon of Oreo iced coffee. Each stack of pancakes were complete with Nutella, strawberries, whipped cream, and a generous amount of syrup. Owen looked proudly at his creation before pulling up a chair and beginning to eat.
While his original intention was to go slowly, this was quickly done away with as the first plate of pancakes was finished and the second begun in under five minutes. Several bites of the second plate of pancakes were taken before a long chug of iced coffee. As he chugged the gallon of liquid, Owen could feel his stomach expand and the shirt stretch to accommodate. He gave a quick couple pats to his midsection before shoveling in his second plate of food.

While the shirt he was wearing was becoming increasingly uncomfortable due to tightness, so too were his pants. Owen briefly stopped his eating to grab underneath his noticeably larger stomach and lifted it in order to ensure that it was as free as possible from the constriction of his jeans.
Satisfied, Owen lifted the plate to scrape down the last few pieces of strawberry and gave a huge belch as he reached for his drink. As he lifted the carton to his lips and began to chug, he gave no indication of being concerned by the small amount of iced coffee that began running down his chin and onto his front.
As he placed the drink back on the table, he grunted as he moved to undo his pants and once again lift his gut to ensure it would be able to rest comfortably. At this point, his shirt was unable to keep up with his eating habits and had ridden up to the middle of his stomach. With little acknowledgment, Owen attempted to jiggle his now very firm midsection before giving a few rubs and another huge belch.
He looked up to eye the final plate hungrily and began taking enormous bites. Faster than even his first two plates, the third plate containing the final pancakes was finished. Owen, however, was not.
He looked down at the shirt that was now higher than even the middle of his stomach. He knew that he was full, his bloated gut resting on his thighs with the stained shirt struggling to contain it. Despite this he polished off the remaining gallon of iced coffee and moved, slowly, to begin spooning Nutella right from the jar and into this mouth. Two large containers had already been used for the pancakes, but this final one held at least half of its original contents.
"Shit..." he mumbled out of breath.
"Need..." a burp interrupted his own words, "to just...finish this."
As the final bit of the spread was scooped from the jar, Owen tossed the now empty container to the side and groaned at how huge he felt.
Making his way back to his room seemed tedious as all of the food and drink sloshed inside of his sizable stomach. Even so, as Owen stepped on the scale, he felt only pure ecstasy at the numbers.
177lbs.

Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
