《Hero Of Olympus》I make a very important phonecall

I followed an angry Khione for gods know how long. I had been pestering her and asking her whether we were there or not. Thankfully, before I could ask again, we had arrived at a small town named Nome.
It was a quite little place with a small airport and bright lighted streets.
I ran over to the nearest convenience store and dialled in Zeus' personal number. I waited as it rang.
If he was in a good mood, he would fly me over to New York. If not, let's just not think about it.
"You better have a reason for calling, whoever you are," a gruff voice said.
Let me just tell you, I had never ever been so happy to hear my uncle's voice.
I was so happy, that I forgot why I had even called him.
"Its the pizza man," I replied.
There was a sigh in the background. "What do you want Jackson?" He asked.
"You recognised my voice?" I asked, shocked out of my mind.
"No, I detected the sass," he replied sarcastically. "Now what do you want?" He barked.
"Ah, well you see uncle Zeus... today morning, I woke up in the middle of a forest, freezing, in Alaska. I don't know if this is a prank of some sort, but I kinda need your help before I either freeze or annoy Khione to the point she makes me a statue."
"Just tell me when you get to Canada along with Boreas' daughter and I'll fly you to New York. And don't think this is me beings soft on you, I'd be more than happy to have your annoying existence removed from this world. This is a one time thing. Goodbye sea spawn."
Wow he said bye to me! Aw man he's warming up to me.
The call then cut-off, leaving me both puzzled and relieved.
"I'm surprised you managed to get Zeus' personal number. What did he say?" Khione asked.
"He told me we need to leave Alaska for him to be able to help us."
"Us?" Khione asked surprised.
"Yeah he said us," I replied.
"How do we leave Alaska? A plane?" I asked. "We can't exactly steal a plane or a boat."
Khione just shrugged. Great.
"Any ideas Elsa?"
"Call me by that name and that'll be the last thing that leaves your mouth," Khione snarled.
Okay, now I know how to piss her off. That's step number one to become friends with someone.
"Now would be a nice time to have Leo with us," I said, shivering.

Khione looked like she wanted to be sick.
"Hey you're a goddess, can't you just flash us to New York?" I asked her.
"Don't you think I would have already done that by now if I could?" She snapped.
"Sheesh, calm down ice princess."
Khione growled under her breath.
"Can you create an ice sled or something so we can slide out of Alaska?" I asked her.
"You want to slide for eight hundred miles?" She snapped.
I raised my hands in defeat and sat down, shivering slightly.
"What about using an iceberg as a ship?" I questioned.
She looked at me incredulously, but ended up shrugging.
Khione snapped her fingers, causing snow to starts falling off an iceberg infront of us.
I closed my eyes, trying to control the temperature of the water around the iceberg. I had gotten better at this after my vacation in hell.
I did this for a few more minutes until all that was left was a spindle shaped iceberg, the size of the Chrysler building.
I jumped down on it, while Khione formed a slope of snow and slid down.
I then sat down on the iceberg to reduce my centre of gravity and willed the currents to push us forwards.
We were traveling at around forty knots, when we passed two Killer Whales.
"Can you guys push us till the border of Canada?" I asked them hopefully.
"Sure dude!" One of them exclaimed.
"We'll get help," the other one said.
With the force of six whale power, we managed to travel at roughly 100 knots, which was extremely fast.
As we zoomed through the gulf of Alaska, I made friends with the whales.
"We're here," Khione announced.
As she said that, I felt the water rejuvenate me.
"Thanks Phill, thanks Ted, thanks guys," I said to the Killer Whales.
"No worries dude," Ted said. "Don't die."
"Khione, thank Ted and Phill," I said.
"I'm not thanking a whale," she argued.
"I thanked the whales, you thank them."
"Not happening."
Phill sprayed her with water and smacked his tail fin on the water.
Ted bared his 56 teeth at her.
She thanked the whales.
I parked our iceberg on the shore and disembarked after Khione.
As I turned around, I heard multiple bow strings stretch.
It was the hunters of Artemis.
"Thanks for coming," I exclaimed. "Sheesh, I have no idea how I ended up in Alaska after going to bed in New York. Hey where's Thalia?"
As I finished my sentence, multiples arrows came flying towards us.

I panicked and that caused the mega iceberg to explode. Yep.
Millions of super sharp ice pieces rained over the hunters as they scrambled to take cover.
More ice continued to materialize out of the water and attack the hunters, exploding before contact.
The best way for you to visualise it is to imagine a huge mass of ice the size of skyscraper exploding into fragments of ice.
Once the ice projectiles stopped, the hunters took our their bows and aimed it and fired.
I slapped my wrist watch and brought out my shield to cover myself and Khione. I then made a twenty foot wave crash into the hunters.
"Stop!" I yelled. "We come in peace. I just spoke to Lord Zeus about an hour ago. Right uncle?" I questioned, looking up at the sky.
Thunder boomed.
The hunters paled and looked at the sky in fear.
Lightning flashed in the sky, temporarily blinding us.
My vission cleared to reveal my dramatic uncle, standing there, in his blue pin stripped suite, holding his Masterbolt.
He then nodded towards me and before I could say anything, he snapped his fingers, causing my world to go black.
I opened my eyes to find myself inside a huge room with pure white ceiling, with a massive doorway along with a few huge pillars.
There was a smell of ozone in the room, along with a constant breeze that smelled of rain.
"I must say, you're the first demigod to enter my palace."
I turned around to see my uncle Zeus sitting on a couch, sipping something that looked like Oreo milkshake.
"Is that Oreo milkshake?" I asked before I could stop myself.
He sighed and snapped his fingers, causing a glass of blue Oreo milkshake to appear for me.
"You made it blue?"
He snapped his fingers and caused it to loose it's blue colour.
"No!" I whined.
It turned blue again.
"Thanks uncle Z."
I inhaled the milkshake.
"Alright what's going on?" I asked once I had finished my milkshake.
"We have some good news and some bad news," he said." The good news is that somebody is trying to kill you or trying to get rid of you. I'm not surprised to be honest. I would like to turn you into a squid and send you back to your father."
"Would it be a giant squid?"
He glared at me and shook his head while rubbing his eyes.
"What's the bad news?"
"Well, you have two siblings."
Yippee!!!
"Don't get so excited so soon. The boy was hidden in the lotus casino. His name is James Hunt. The girl is roman and was hidden in the Sea of Monsters by Hephaestus after he owed your father a favour. Her names Julia Jackson. Her last name is just a coincidence so don't get excited."
"Wow. What about you uncle? Any cousins for me?"
"Chicago," he whispered after looking around to make sure no one was listening.
The was a bang somewhere upstairs and Zeus' eyes widened and glared at me. "It was a joke," he yelled, before bolting out of the room, leaving me sitting there awkwardly.
"Where is he?" An angry Hera yelled as she entered the room.
"She scowled and snapped her fingers, causing Zeus to appear into the room."
"When?" She asked, her body glowing dangerously.
"Calm down, you might vapourise Jackson," he said, looking at me for help.
"When?" Hera snapped.
"Before you were kidnapped," he mumbled.
"I can't believe I married you," Here roared.
I was feeling really lost right now. I was in the middle of the King and Queen of Olympus arguing about their marriage.
It was really one sided though.
"You can adopt her," Zeus whimpered. "Her mother was a police officer, she died a month ago in an explosion. The girl is only two years old. She's living with her aunt right now."
Hera's gaze softened.
"We'll be right back," Zeus said to me before he grabbed his wife's hand and teleported away.
Well...that was awkward.
After around twenty minutes, the two reappeared looking much happier, with a little girl in Hera's arms.
I cleared my throat, notifying them that I was still there.
"Ah yes Jackson, anyways, your brother and sister seem to be looking forward to meeting you. There's someone in the council other than me who seems to hate you. It was them who transported you to Alaska and caused a fire in your parent's apartment. Don't worry, everyone is fine. Hera was watching over it and managed and save your mother and stepfather."
I gave a greatful look to Hera, who just nodded.
"Could it be Ares?" I asked.
"No," Hera responded. "He seems to have gained some respect for you. It wasn't him. It's someone else."
"Go back to your peky camp and meet your siblings. We'll get to the bottom of this," Zeus said, before snapping his fingers and teleporting me to the borders of camp half-blood.

Quebracho: The Legend of Two Heroes
After a violent and tough battle, you recover in an infirmary with your fellow soldiers, or in a more relatable scenario, visit your friend's house after a hard day of studying. You’d expect that both of them would play out normally for the most part, right? Well... Maxon Cortez and Jason McGuire had the same thoughts too. Yet, fate has different plans for them: Max ends up in an eerie location he doesn’t recognize and Jace gets transported to an entirely different world that works like a video game (sort of) by walking into a portal. As they travel along the lands, the two of them will encounter other individuals of many kinds, make friends new and old, gain powerful abilities, experience spectacular adventures, and obtain priceless treasures. However, Maxon and Jason will unknowingly become integral parts of a nefarious conspiracy that, if successful, will plunge both of their worlds into eternal chaos and darkness. So it’s up to them and their allies to thwart it. Side-Note: I’ll admit right off the bat that this story will be my first attempt at writing a LitRPG, so the in-game mechanics and terminology will probably look weird and be even nonsensical. If you notice something that’s out-of-place or just flat out wrong, I apologize. Not only that, it's been a while since I've wrote anything and thus I'm a little bit rusty. So please bear with me. New chapters once every Saturday or Sunday. Also, I'll be fine-tuning the grammar, punctuation, and spelling when I have the time. So expect a lot of random edits. This story is also available on ScribbleHub.

The entries here are transcribed from the log of Marie Ruiz, first mate of the Adelaide. It was definitely, definitely not published without her permission or knowledge by a certain lovable artificial intelligence for the purpose of sharing it with my AI friends on other ships who follow it like a soap opera. No way, no how. Remember guys, don’t go spreading this around too much. Only pass it on to those you can trust. God forbid this should ever end up on a public network… (Adelaide is a science fiction web serial featuring the adventures of a crew of smugglers. In space. It’s on the softer end of the soft/hard sci-fi spectrum because the author got a C in physics. Updates every other Sunday.)
