《Hero Of Olympus》I meet my brother

After passing the borders of camp, I ran towards the Poseidon cabin. I barged in to find a backpack on the bunk opposite mine.
I then ran out towards the canoe lake, but found only Nico and a few Aphrodite kids there. I waved to Nico and ran towards the arena.
I entered to find Clarisse wresteling a new camper and elbowing him in the gut.
He had messy black hair and sea green eyes and looked about a year younger to me.
"Jeez, Clarisse, calm down.
You'll kill the kid."
"Sup Prissy."
I just rolled my eyes.
"Here's your little bro," she said, picking up and shoving the new kid towards me.
I caught him to prevent him from falling.
I kid groaned.
"Hey, you alright," I asked.
"Yeah never been better," he mumbled. "Are you Prissy Jackson?"
I snorted. "It's Percy."
"Nice to meet you. My name's James Hunt, I think I'm your brother," he said.
"Cool," I replied, as I gave him a small hug and a pat on the back.
"Don't worry, Clarisse pummels me in wrestling as well."
I supported him, as we walked towards the canoe lake. Once there, the water rejuvenated him.
"Woah, how did that happen?" He asked, amazed at the fact that he was perfectly fine now.
"One of the benefits of being a child of Poseidon. I'll teach you some water powers later. We have the same schedule so it shouldn't be hard to find time."
"Cool!"
I felt a slight chill around the tree next to us.
"Hey Nico," I greeted without even turning around. "Don't you have 'doctor's orders' to not use shadow majic?"
Nico turned red. "Aw is Nico blushing?" I teased.
"Shup up," he mumbled as he punched me on the shoulder and walked off.
"Hey is Annabeth Chase your girlfriend?" James asked me.
"Yeah why?" I inquired.
"She's been acting really weird with me. I know I tend to be really oblivious at times, but even I know when a girl flirts with me. Just thought I'd let you know," he said.
I nodded to him quietly. On the inside, I was having a panic attack. Annabeth was supposed to be in San Francisco. Not at camp half-blood. She never even told me she was coming here. And I had spoken to her just two days ago. Something was wrong.
"Hey you alright bro?" James asked me.
I nodded quietly. "Anyways, lunch time, let's go," I said, slinging my arm around his shoulder as I guided him towards the dinning pavilion. I'm pretty sure both of us were whooping with joy at being brothers, as he slung his arm around my shoulder as well.
"Hey you know we also have a new Roman sis?" I asked him.

"What? No way," he replied, getting excited.
"Yeah, I say we both go some time to go meet her."
It's so cool to have siblings. Of course, Thalia, Hazel, Jason, the Demeter kids and Nico were also my siblings, but they were more cousins than siblings.
We entered the dinning pavilion and my eyes fell on Annabeth. She was looking at James and hadn't even realised I was there. When her eyes landed on me she smiled, but I knew it was a fake one. James completely ignored her and sat down at our table.
Blue pizza appeared on both our plates and we looked at each other and gasped.
"You like blue," we both yelled at the same time.
Miranda from the Demeter cabin snorted and told her sister something around the lines of 'I told you so', causing both James and I to blush.
We both got up to go scrape a part of our food to the gods.
"Thanks for the brother, Dad," James whispered.
"Thanks for the brother Dad," I repeated, scraping an entire slice of pizza into the flames. "Thanks for letting me know uncle Zeus," I added, scrapping another slice into the fire.
It was probably the first time I had ever sacrificed something for my uncle.
Since we had an hour free after lunch, we decided to go down to the beach to practice our powers.
I taught James how to manipulate water currents and cause big waves to distract your opponent. He was a fast learner and was soon doing pretty well. Using so much power tended to tire us down so we decided to take a break.
We both drank some blue cherry coke from the goblets we brought from the dinning pavilion.
"How was your life before all this?" I asked him.
"I was at the lotus casino. Turns out time goes slower there than in the normal world. I have no idea when I was born. All I know is I'm sixteen and my birthday is on August eighteenth."
"No way! So is mine! We're basically twins but from different centuries."
"I know right! This is awesome!" He exclaimed.
"Who told you about time in the casino going slower?" I questioned.
"Annabeth," he replied. "She kept repeating to me how she had been there and gotten out on her own."
"Wait that's wrong," I said. "I was there with her. A guy there told me the year was 1970, which caused me to panic and drag her and Grover out."
"She never told me anything about others being there with her. She said she was the only one there who returned Zeus' Masterbolt," he said surprised.
"Wait what?"
"Yeah, she also told me a bunch of other stuff. She never mentioned you."

"That's out of order. I was there with her on every quest except when she went looking for the Parthenos. I was there even in Tartarus!"
"She lied to me," he said scowling.
I looked down, afraid that he would see my tears. My wise girl was taking all the credit for everything we had done together. It was probably her hubris finally getting the better of her.
I sighed and buried my face in my hands. At this rate, she would probably end up cheating on me. After all I had done for her, this was what I get on return.
James patted my back and hugged me. "Don't worry Perce, you have family. I'll always be there for you and I'm sure so will our sister."
I nodded and patted him on the back. "Let's go see Leo," I said, cheering up. "I heard he was back from the dead."
We jogged over to bunker 9 to find Leo and Calypso working on Festus' circuits.
"Hey Leo, Calypso, Festus, guess whos back from Alaska?"
The dragon and Calypso turned towards me, while Leo fell off the hydraulic lift and caught fire.
"Ay Aquaboy," Leo exclaimed, running over to me and giving me a hug.
I returned the hug and punched him in the shoulder. "That's for disappearing."
Leo started whining like a child, making Calypso roll her eyes.
"Uh hi," I said awkwardly to Calypso. "I'm sorry for not making sure the gods kept their word to release you from Ogygia."
"No hard feelings Percy, I know about you getting kidnapped and all that."
"Hey buddy," I said patting Festus.
The dragon creaked in response.
"Woah! What are those?" I asked pointing to two long cylinders on Festus' sides.
"Boosters my dude," Leo said patting my back. "Boosters."
"Dam."
After spending some time with Leo, James and I went the dinning pavilion for dinner as it was getting late.
We were a bit early, as the conch shell hadn't been blown yet.
We continued to joke around and get to know each other better until the conch shell was blown to alert the other campers for dinner.
"Have you found yourself a well balanced sword yet?" I asked him.
He shook his head as both of us stuffed a pizza slice in our faces.
"Maybe we can ask Leo or Nyssa if they can help us make a well balanced sword for you."
He shrugged. "Sure!"
We dived back into our Pizzas but were soon interupted but a roar.
"Drakon," I said, glancing over at the Ares table, where Clarisse and Sherman were the only ones there.
"Ares, Poseidon, deal with the beast," Mr. D called out.
I glanced at James and the other two and gave them a smirk.
We sprinted out of the dinning pavilion, racing each other.
I picked up a decently balanced sword from a sword rack close by and tossed over to James, who caught it and let out a small chuckle.
Clarisse charged past Thalia's pine tree, "Bring it on ugly!"
Sherman charged behind her, while James and I jogged towards the flank. That's we saw it. It was a Lydian Drakon.
"It can only be killed by a child of Ares," I shouted over the roar of the Drakon.
The Drakon then did something unexpected. It twisted it's body to the side, reared it's tail and flung the two children of Ares into Thalia's pine tree.
James and I cursed like a pegasus.
Only then did we notice the girl lying near the Drakon.
"Get her out of here, I'll deal with the Drakon," I said to James.
I charged the Drakon with Riptide in my hand. James rushed over to the girl and dragged her out of harms way.
The Drakon then spat venom at us.
I dodged it but James wasn't so lucky.
The gue splattered on his feet causing him to curse like a sailor. Now, I was pissed.
Nobody hurts my brother and gets away with it.
I imagined my eyes glowing like what I had done against the Minotaur in Manhattan.
I charged the Drakon, causing water to rush in out of thin air and surround me.
I slashed and hacked away at the Drakon. Whenever it spat venom at me, the water would snatch it away.
I was about to slash one of its eyes, but it was blown away and slammed into a row of trees.
I rushed towards it and realised something. I was floating around in my own personal hurricane with lightning flickering around me. I tried flicking fingers like Zeus and guess what? Hundreds of lightning bolts slammed into the Drakon, leaving behind only golden dust.
The water then disappeared and I collapsed on the ground out of fatigue.
I picked myself up and limped over to James and the girl, who were being treated by Will, while Clarisse and Sherman were being carried off to the infirmary.
When I plopped myself down next to them, the three looked at me in shock.
"Dang bro."
I patted James on the back. "Nobody hurts my bro."
The girl then spoke up, clearly confused, "Who are you people? What was that thing? How did you do that with the water?" She asked, as she was claimed by Nemesis.
This clearly was going to take a while.
Thankfully, Will interupted us. "You're too weak. You need rest. Same for the two of you," he said pointing at us.
I knew better than to argue with any of Apollo's kids so I walked off to cabin and hit the hay while James was going to spend tbe night in the infirmary.
