Anna left when she realized her work here is done. She told me I should hurry up, and go straight to the kitchen after I'm done changing.
I went inside Narnia's door and holy shit, it's a walk in closet! I literally am jumping in excitement. I see lots of clothes arranged by color on one side, and on the other was a line of assorted shoes. This is heaven. There's also a slick rectangular table placed on the center filled with jewelries, and on the end wall was a big three way mirror.
Out of happiness I started dancing, it was a combination of the nae-nae dance and twerk it like Miley. I know I look weird, but hell I'm happy, so I'll dance like crazy!
When suddenly I hear laughter.
I looked behind – note I was still in a twerk position – and saw harry potter, I mean Jill laughing so hard while clutching his stomach. I stood up and dusted my robe, because it was covered with imaginary dirt of shame. I coughed, the awkward cough.
"Hoooo." He said while taking off his glasses and wiping the tears in his cobalt blue eyes. "That was epic. A dancing gnome."
I crossed my arms, and I thought I felt sorry for singing him that nursery rhyme he happens to hate. I feel like singing one now, in a volume that can out-win the storm's rage outside. I was about to open my mouth and sing, when he stepped forward.
He run a hand through his sandy blond hair, and looked at me with those eyes, that seemed like he has stolen the color of the sea and injected it into his.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you back there. It's just that that song annoys me so much." He paused. "Brings so many bad memories." He said, as his eyes turned stormy. I nodded and tried to understand his reason.
"Noted. That song will be banned, even to my future kin." He laughed, and opened his hand for a shake.

"Truce?" He asked. I took his hand, shook it, and smiled.
"Yes." I paused. "Nice meeting you by the way. I'm Victoria." He laughed. We haven't introduced ourselves properly yet, so I guess this is now or never.
"No need to introduce yourself. My sister Divina won't stop talking about you." He walked around the closet and took out a white sleeveless chiffon dress, that's probably above knee length.
I shook my head.
"Why? It'll look good on you!" He walked towards me and placed the dress in front. "See?"
I laughed. "Are you a stylist or something?"
"Trust me on this." He insisted, and pushed me on the dressing room behind the mirror. "Just try it."
"Fine." I went inside and popped my head out the door. "For plan B. Pick a shirt and jeans for me, okay?" He laughed, then nodded.
I slid down the dress and went out, without any idea how I look. When I stepped out, Tristan was already there talking to Jill. Jill was the first one to notice, and poked Tristan whose back was facing me. When he saw me, his face had a knowing smile, like an approval. When I closed the mirror door, I came face to face with the girly-girl version of me.
I smiled. "It's actually not that bad."
"Told you." Jill suddenly went to my side. "And there's no plan B." He said, and braided my hair into a fishtail.
I think, Jill is gay.
Tristan simply laughed. "Uncle. I think you've found a new doll to play with."
Jill chuckled. "I think your mom won't be happy sharing her doll." He stopped. "There, you're good to go. Wait you need a bit of make-up."
I stopped him before he actually makes me into a beauty queen. I grabbed his arm when he's about to get some make up under the center table.
"I'm allergic to make-up." I lied. I had a glimpse of Tristan's impression, and it shows how he's not buying my act. "But, thank you, really. I actually love your pick." He smiled.

"I'm choosing your outfit tomorrow too, if Divina's busy." I nodded, and he replied with a smile. After that Jill went out my room.
Tristan faced me. "I'll answer the question in your head. Yes. He's gay." He then grabbed my arm. "Let's go. The food's getting cold."
"I think I'm overdressed." I said as we walked down the hallway towards the grand stairs.
"And you think me in a polo shirt is not overdressed." Actually, him saying that just made me realize, how good he looks – hot even – in that black folded polo. "You'll fit in. We're all overdressed." He continued, after I was done checking him out.
"And I thought this is just a normal dinner." I sighed. Formal dinners aren't on my vocabulary.
"It is." He said as he opened the door on the right, after we've come down the stairs. "Well for mom, this is her definition of normal."
We entered the dining hall, and it was breath-taking, literally. There was so much space. The ceiling was adorned with paintings, more detailed than the one in my room. The sides of the room had pillars, and on each gap had big vases filled with flowers, filling the air with its sweet aroma. The dining table at the center, was a long rectangular black wood with amazing carved designs, and underneath it was an exquisite looking carpet. There was also a big chandelier on top of it. The food? Damn. I can't even describe it in words. Just imagine a buffet, that's what's happening here.
And this is what they call normal. I think I'll get use to this.
"The guest of honor, is here." Divina said as she ushered me towards a chair next to Anna.
I smiled at her, also to Jack who sat next to her, and to my surprise he smiled back. I'm relieved that he didn't hold a grudge on me after what happened earlier. Jill was sitting in front of me, he looked grim, but he was still able to put up a smile and a wink when I turned to him.
Something's up with him.
Divina tipped her wine glass with a fork, she's sitting on the other end of the table. When she got all our attention, she stood up, her purple silk dress shone as the light hit it.
"Thank you so much for all of you who had come to my invitation..." She paused and looked at me. "...to welcome Victoria to our world, and to our family." She lifted her glass and we did as well.
Family? Shit. I really can't be a bearer yet. And I also can't ask what they mean by welcome to the family, it will surely be a kill-joy-breaking moment.
"Welcome to the family!" Someone said again, but the voice didn't come from anyone in the table, suddenly I was hugged from behind. I looked and saw Will's face wearing his usual smile. On his side was Marcus, also with that dashing smile of his. "Welcome my dear." He said. After that they sat on the vacant seats.
"Dig in." Divina said.
Well apparently, it was only Tristan, Will, Anna and I, actually ate. The others? Well, they were just poking their food, and I guess they had more wine than actual food in their bellies. I'm curious to what the wine tastes like, because they seem to keep filling their glasses with it. I took a sip, and it was thicker than normal, the taste was a bit odd too.
"Uhm, I wouldn't drink that if I were you." Tristan said, and I turned to him with a question marked face.
"It's blood dear..." Divina said, and I didn't know what she said after, because I fainted the moment my brain realized what just went down my throat.

Hero
Kuren is just your average boy. He's just been asleep for one thousand years. Heroes and grand epics. Kuren doesn't have the time to think about things like that, nor does he really care. Join Kuren as he wanders the fantasy land of Alurca in search of his lost memories and the reasons behind his lengthy slumber. This is sort of a reboot of Anomaly, the first novel I tried to write. I gave up Anomaly after going to college. I thought about going back to it, but... when I look at it now, it's not very good. It was very edgy and not much substance behind that edge. The story wasn't quite going anywhere since I hadn't given the main character a goal. I had planned out a story, but I forgot to to plan out the details between the beginning and end. So this one's for real. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.
