You stare up at the man of fire. Wow. He tilts his head at you, questioning your behavior.
Oh, you were starring. You blush slightly and look away to the drunk on the floor. He would be up soon and hopefully didn't know exactly what floor you live on. You wernt sure if grillby would be able to manage him so you grabbed your clothes from the dryer and headed up to the apartment, grillby close behind.
You unlocked the door and went in to set the basket on the couch and relock the door. Grillby stood akwardly in the center of the room.
"Ahm" he cleared his 'voice' if it could be called that. You turn in his direction, a questioning look on your face.
"Do you-...have any extra clothes I could wear?"
OH. Your stupidly slowed mind had forgotten that his clothes might be dirty.
"Oh, yes yes hold on"
You rush to the back closet in your apartment and dig through all the extra clothes your brother had left over there. You find a black T-shirt and grey sweats and some underwear. Walking back to the living room you hand the clothes to grillby. He nods and heads to the bathroom.
Taking the fresh clothes to your room you begin to hang up the clothes. You hum the tune of hot mess as you work. You heard your door push open and see a bright blue flame? Blue? He's holding a shiny square in his ha--. Shiny square. That was packed away in your brothers clothes. Shiny. Square. Oh my god. The heat of your blush matches the intensidy of his flames.
"Grillby, I swear to god I didn't know, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable and I really didn't kno-"

"(Y/N) It's fine, you don't seem like that type of person. It just.. caught me off guard"
He laughed nervously.
"Thank you for the clothes by the way they are appreciated."
"Oh yeah I can go wash yours when I go back down stairs it'll only take a minute..."
His face became serious,
"(y/n)"
He spoke softy.
"It's not safe for me to be here with you and going back outside with only further the possibility of you getting hurt now please," He stepped closer to you, "Take a rest and let me do it. I should be out of here by tomorrow."
Your gave him a small frown
"Oh, OK"

So I revised this because it was so cringy and I need a life, I'm gonna update later considering I'm on spring break but I have two new stories. Ones another grillbae but the reader is terrified of fire and the other is really a joke but hey you'll see. OK bye! ~Dani
