A sign that says 'Brick Recycling: Remake Your World Over And Over.' Also says; 'Closed.' Each of the Secret Ninja Force (excluding Mysterio) enter the abandoned warehouse, and put their mechs in place.
Kai decides to tell Lloyd something, "Lloyd..."
"Yeah?"
"That's your dad. You were open, man."
"It was highly poignant." Zane stated.
Jay then came flying saying, "For me, it's easy to fight him 'cause he's like, not my father. But for you, that must be so complicated."
"Not that complicated." Lloyd argued back.
Nya implied otherwise, "You also, really pulled at my heartstrings, man. I felt for you."
"With the missiles." Lloyd chuckled nervously.
"No. With the other stuff." Nya said disagreeing with him as Zane, Cole and Jay went to relax.
Lloyd started stammering in denial as Nya spoke over him. He had to admit that it was embarrassing that he was fighting with his dad, when they could have some healthy-relationship, as father and son. But, he felt that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
"The dad stuff."
"Yeah but like, what exactly what are you referring to?"
"Watching you and your father." Zane states bluntly turning around. Zane was one to be too innocent and straight-to-the-point.
"The vulnerability." Cole adds, resting his arm on Zane's shoulder. He seemed so chill in a bad moment of calling out his emotionally-vulnerable friend.
"You got so emotional." Jay says smiling, whilst nodding.
"Emotions were the last thing that was going on out there." Lloyd uttered.
"Uh, yeah."
"Mmm-hmm." The others said finally agreeing sarcastically, even though they knew that Lloyd wouldn't admit it.
"It's okay, Lloyd. Nobody's parents are perfect. I mean [Name's] father is always at work and her mother isn't able to get a job, so she has to go to the job centre now and then." Nya said comforting Lloyd as he looked down in sadness.

Then, Jay comes up and tries to comfort Lloyd as well. Word: . "I mean, my mum is weird and collects seashells. Your dad levels cities and attacks innocent people. So, they've all got their quirks, you know?"
Then all of a sudden, a flute starts playing and the ninjas look around confused. "Uh, wh--...Where's that tranquil music coming from?"
"Hey look, everyone! Master Wu is back." Nya says happily as a flying ship lands swiftly.
"Hello students." Master Wu says appearing behind them all in a sudden whizz, scaring them in result.
"Master Wu!" They all exclaimed in surprise and glee.
"Shock." Zane inputted, wavering his hands stiffly in robotic movement.
"How was your trip?" Cole questioned, raising a brow with interest.
"It was a deep spiritual journey that took me to depths inside myself, I never knew existed." Wu calmly states.
"Yeah. You have a pretty serious tan line." Cole jokingly intercepts.
"Don't judge me." Wu fires back, pointing his staff flute at Cole.
"Did you see us kick Garmadon's butt back there?" Nya questions excitedly, while doing some fighting gestures.
"We vanquished him." Not really; Zane, you only defeated him for today, not forever. But hey, I'm the author they can't hear me. Oh well, I tried.
"Ba-ba-bam!" Kai shouts, jumping in the air.
"I saw you fight alongside Mysterio and, I saw Garmadon retreat. But, you did not defeat him." Wu seriously contemplates.
"What?" The Ninja all exclaimed in shock.
Wu bangs his staff on the floor to silence them all. Once they all stopped he then said, "There's nothing ninja about ninjas, except Mysterio. At least, they have something ninja about them." The bearded master couldn't help, but roll his own eyes at having to even say that.
"We're so ninja. I don't know what you're talking about." Jay argues back crossing his arms, in denial.

"You will never truly defeat Garmadon, until you see things from a different point of view."
Wu paces back 'n forth, before coming up to them. "You have the power to win the battle without fighting. When start using your mind, you won't need mechs and machines. Your call signs are not just cool names. They are the elemental powers you were all born with."
"Nya, you can create water on your own." Wu forms a sphere of water on his hand, and Nya gasps in surprise.
Wu does a spin in the air, making his way over to the hot-headed brother of Nya. "And Kai, fire!" A flame of fire appears on his hand.
"Wow."
"Jay, lightning." Sparks of lightning appeared in between both of Wu's hands.
"So, ninja."
"Cole, earth." Wu jumps up into the air and punches the ground, this causes the ninjas topple around a bit then regain their balance, all the while; they let out shocked yelps of awe and bewilderment from this.
"Whoa!"
"We both spin." Cole clicks his tongue in amusement, spinning an old school record on his hand.
"And Zane, ice." Ice sparks go all over Wu's hand, as Zane looks at it in awe and smiles geekily.
"Ice is nice!"
"These elemental powers are why I chose you to form the Secret Ninja Force. And soon; another will soon join us. It is the highest level that you can achieve as a ninja. I wrote a book about it. It's called 'Ninjanuity'." Wu puts his staff behind him, as he brings out a copy of his book that has his name at the bottom of it. "Copyright, Master Wu."
Unfortunately, he may have mentioned all the other Ninjas' elemental powers, but he seemed to have forgotten a certain somebody.
"And uh, and what about me? What, what am I?" The blond-haired ninja questioned, pulling his collar back to loosen it from his neck to shrug off the nerves he felt from whatever his uncle would say next.
"Lloyd, yours is the most important element of all."
"Okay. Hit me with it." Lloyd said getting excited since he is the only ninja in the group that doing have an actual elemental name.
"Your elemental power is ." Wu emphasises on the 'Green' part.
"What's that?"
"."
"Okay, so just to recap. Fire. Ice. Water. Earth. Lightning. And..."
"."
"Don't think it's an element though. Even Mysterio doesn't have an elemental ninja name, but what she does it cool! I mean, if they end up getting an elemental power of any power of that instance given to them, before I realise my true potential: then, that might just be a bit biased, don't you think?"
"Lloyd.."
"Can I be gold?"
"No."
"Wind isn't taken. Can I be wind?"
"No."
"Earth, green and fire. Rolls right off the tongue." Lloyd sarcastically comments, letting out an incoherent scoff and rolled his eyes. "Even Mysterio's name fits her perfectly, and she's not even on this team!"
"Lloyd..."
"Can I be the element of surprise?" Lloyd questions, as he gestures a surprise motion and forces on a tight grin of hope.
"No. That's the Fuchsia Ninja."
Then on time the Fuchsia Ninja pops up saying, "Surprise." Before, they disappeared off.
"There are so many elements left. This feels kind of purposeful that I don't have one."
"Enough, Lloyd. Come with me for mentor talk." Lloyd walks up beside Wu, as he sets out the instructions for his other students.
"The rest of you, practice Spinjitzu."
"That's easy. Watch this." Kai boldly grins, trying to demonstrate Spinjitzu, alongside the others.
"Exertion." Zane computes out.
"For three hours." Wu adds.
"Three hours!?"
"Are you kidding me with this guy?!"
"And read my book!" Wu yells as he throws his book onto the floor in front of the ninjas.
"Oh, man!"
"Ugh."

Moonblood
Five moons rise over Evanir, each in her own cycle, and each moon is also a god, one of five sisters. Many gods create spirit attendants and companions, brought forth fully-formed. Long ago, the moons worked together to create a lineage that are, instead, humans transformed by the mingling of blood. They intended them to be long-lived and to draw their strength directly from the light of the moon who chose each individual. The five sisters had different goals in mind – one wanted it to be a blessing for scholars and artists, to give them more time and fewer physical distractions; another wanted them to have an animal form, different for each, to keep them more in tune with nature so they could serve as guardians of the wilderness. There are drawbacks to their children having human lives and personalities before being chosen: not all share the goals of their divine mothers, and some choose to put their gifts to darker uses. Those carrying the blood of one woman, fleeing the corruption in search of a quiet life, take a different path. -=-=-=-=- Moonblood isn't so much a novel as a series of adventures of varying length. They involve a core group of people, which does grow over time. They take place in a fairly low-magic world, but despite that, our core cast are directly connected to the moons and have various abilities, including limited shapeshifting to a single individual animal form. As with all my work, unless gender, orientation, or other aspects of sexuality are explicitly stated, I suggest not making assumptions. Probably most significant, I think, is a major trans character who appears about 80K words in - no spoilers, just a note for those who care about that one way or the other.

Greene's Monthly Contest
most writers don't have enough recognition. most of them only win awards based on the general aspects of a story; genre or theme, judged by the same things, not appreciating the genius behind the chapters. same awards, same results.--and we disagree with that.
