I laid on my couch alone, watching teen wolf for the third time in a month.
"Ugh there's nothing to do..." I pouted.
My boyfriend, Shawn Mendes(!) was on tour for the 5th time and once again I'm left alone in our empty apartment.
The bed was so empty and I felt as lonely as I did the last time.
6 long months.
All alone.
Suddenly my phone began to buzz. I began reaching for it and sighed.
"Why do I even do this?" I asked myself, referring to having marathons of teen wolf.
I clutch my phone and answer.
"Hello?" I asked, probably sounding annoying.
"Babe, are you okay? You sound irritated." I heard Shawn's voice.
I giggled. "Oh it's you. I was in the middle of a marathon." He chuckles.
"Teen wolf?" He asks me. "Do you have to even ask." I giggle again.
There was a pause.
"Amanda?" He sounds slightly sad.
Was he gonna break up with me? Was he having an affair? What's he gonna say?
My heart pounded faster and faster by the second.
"Uh... yeah Shawn?"
"I need to tell you something." He says completely serious.
"What is it?" I asked, not even wanting to know.
"Andrew and I were talking;" he sighs "and he tell me I should either date Camila or do a publicity stunt and pretend." He tells me. He would leave me for fame?
No. He couldn't.
"So... are you leaving me?" I ask him tears lightly blurring out my vision.
"Oh no! Never baby! I told him I'd do the publicity but I'm never ever breaking up with you just for fame." I let out a relieving sigh.

"Thank God." I mumble.
"But Amanda, baby? Are you okay with it? If you aren't I won't do it." I smile.
"Oh I'm fine with it. No nasty things though please." I nervously chuckle.
"I wouldn't dream of it!" He tells me.
"Alright well you should get back to your marathon. I have a concert." He tells me.
"Okay. Good luck and have fun." We hang up and I wipe away the tears.
I wasn't too comfortable with it but I wasn't going to stand in front of his dreams.
I lay down on the couch and begin to sob. No one knew about our secret relationship because he said he didn't want me to get hurt.
Not even Camila knows.
This was gonna be a long 6 months of torture....

This story delves into information about it neth and gets into the neth elf experience a few times in this story. You've been warned. Also note: As much as I didn't want to put it in this story, avoiding it was a futile effort on my part. There were things I needed to explain about Soletus and it's hard to write personal tales about character when avoiding talking about certain personal aspects of them.
