《crush imagines》shawn mendes p. 2

Camila seems cool but I never clicked with her.
She was always super close with Shawn and they'd always be hanging out.
It was quite hard dating a world-famous pop star. Especially with his publicity stunt.
I walk down the halls of school with my only friend I could really trust.
"I'm so done with school." Senior year wasn't as fun and lay back as most people made it sound.
I sigh.
It was his last concert tonight until the tour is over.
I felt someone pull at the back of my hair.
"Ouch!" I yelled as I spun around. I glared at the popular girl, Kourtney. Typical white girl. Obsessed with Starbucks, valley girl voice, everything.
"Look who it is..." She chuckled evilly, with her 'sidekick' beside her.
"Seriously?" I began to walk away. She clawed my arm with her freakishly long nails, pulling me back.
"Back off!" My friend, Sammie told them.
They scoffed and rolled their eyes, walking away.
I walk through the hallways and open my locker. I hear two fans talking about Shawn.
My Shawn.
"Omg Camila and Shawn are so goals." One of them says. "They have to get married!" The other said.
I rolled my eyes and sighed.
Life was completely miserable without Shawn. He'd text me and call me about how his tour's going but due to his tight schedule he could never Skype.
~
I drove home and did my homework. His mom was picking him up from the airport since I had way too much homework.
I heard keys clicking in my lock and panicked. Who is it? Shawn isn't supposed to be home till like 7:00.
I saw an old mans hand open the door and ran.
I heard a quiet evil chuckle. I locked my bedroom door and began to sob.

I pull my phone out and dial in Shawn's number.
I hear continuous stabs with a knife through my door. The phone dials and it leads me to Shawn's voicemail.
"Hey, this is Shawn! Sorry I couldn't get to you right now, leave me your number and all call back as soon as I can. Thanks!" It hurt to hear his voice, even if it's just a recording.
BEEP!
"Hey, Shawn. It's Amanda. Th-there's someone breaking in and I want to say if I... If I die I want you to know I love you and I want you to get married and have children. I need you to forget about me and love someone else. Never blame yourself. Please?
I love you, Shawn." Tears were streaming uncontrollably down my cheeks.
When all of a sudden I hear a bang and someone hit their body up against the door.
The body hit the floor, making a "clump" noise.
I glance around the room, still crying. I hear someone try to wiggle the door knob open.
"Amanda, baby? It's Shawn. You're safe." Shawn mumbles through the door. I hear sirens outside.
I slowly walk over to the door and slowly turn the knob and see a tired looking Shawn.
He engulfs me into a warm hug. My face was pressed up against his chest.
He was here, with me.
"I've got you baby..." He muffles in my hair.
I squeezed his torso tighter and cried.
A police comes up to me and asks me to answer a few questions. I answer all of them as best I could.
After the trauma that'd just happened, Shawn and I cuddled up on the couch and had a teen wolf marathon.
"This was not how I expected to come home." He tells me.

"Oh and I'm gonna tell fans about our relationship. I think they should know." I let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God! I thought you'd never tell them!" I giggle and lean into his chest.
"Oh yeah, how'd you knock him out?" I asked him, wanting to know.
"The frying pan. It knocked that old ass out cold." I chuckle.

Paladin
When the first derelict alien spacecraft fell to Earth, humanity took what was found in it and propelled themselves to new heights. In their new Golden Age, humanity developed technology that they had only dreamed about. The following years saw hundreds more ships crash into the planet, spurring even greater technological leaps. An unassuming spacecraft, one of the dozens that fell yearly, descended on Siberia in 2021. The world took no particular notice of it. However, this one contained something beyond the miraculous technology that had made humans so prosperous. Three years later, in a top-secret underground facility in eastern Colorado, the automated construction of an army of Paladin Mobile Infantry Suits was underway. With this new, state-of-the-art weaponry, the military would turn the tide against the alien incursion that was consuming the planet. Humanity fell before that could happen. Sam was an engineer responsible for overseeing the facility. Now alone, he lives in utter boredom and near insanity, his only company the base’s pseudo AI and an army of empty Paladins. With the world gone to hell around him, and the things that caused it still living above, he decides that he is much better off staying exactly where he is. Unfortunately for him, that is no longer an option. This is the first novel I've written. The first fifteen or so chapters are going to be a little slower. I want there to be time to get to know the characters before they start blowing stuff up. Also, though the MC will be strong relative to the world, he won't be OP, and won't win every fight. Not every fight will be physical either. Currently, I'm aiming for something like 5 fairly short chapters a week, after the introduction part is done, but we'll see how that goes. Thanks for reading, and please let me know if I've made mistakes!

People have always thought that the undead would come from hell - that they would rise from their graves to bring their torments upon the earth. They never thought that they would come from the heavens instead and rain upon the world like divine judgment. Ten years had passed since that day. Evan had thought that he had seen all there is to see. What remained of civilized society couldn't recover. Millions of zombies wandered in every city, and thousands more roam the countryside. Every day was a struggle to survive just as it had always been. He, as well as most of the survivors that remained on earth, had resigned themselves to a life of wandering until their deaths. Their last hope was news of an underground settlement being constructed to the far west, outside the eyes of the wandering and falling undead. But then they encounter a girl who had survived in the middle of a heavily-infested city. She claims that she knows of a way to end the apocalypse once and for all. What should he and his group do?
