"Bye Fuyuhiko! Thanks for walking me here!" He shouted, opening the door...
"Aye, kiddo, who the hell was that?"
"O-Oh... Just a friend" He chuckled, closing the door as soon as he stepped his foot inside.
"Just a friend aye?"
"Y-Yes sir... Uhm... If you don't mind me asking, why is it a big deal? -"
"Is he rich?"
"... I-I mean yeah... He's a Yakuza..."
"Hm" Tatsuo smirked, "fine, as long as he gives me 100 dollars"
"...but dad, I can't use him, that's just gonna make me feel-"
"I don't care if you feel bad or some shit, I need money!" He snapped, glaring at his son...
"... Sorry, I wont mention my feelings ever again sir! Im so sorry!" He shouted, stiffing up a bit.
"... Yeah, that's mah boy" He smirked, patting his son on the back, "and make sure to bring me the money tomorrow"
Kazuichi shivered... He didn't want to use his friend for money... That's rude...and not only is it rude, but... Fuyuhiko was one of his favorite friends...
He went to his room and closed the door, letting his back hit the bed... He missed laying down... He missed-...
He grabbed his phone and went to instahope ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) going to see if anything new happened...
... Nothing new.. But he did realize something...
Half way everyone in his classroom has had a date before...
Man.. He sucks..
He went to his account to see if anyone ever commented on his posts...
...
"Pfft! How hilarious, I can't believe you were snooping around that weird freak face! I didn't even think people payed attention to him since he's so weird!"
Kazuichi felt his blood boil, he felt rage, why the hell would she say that?! That was uncalled for!

He angrily typed down, "shut the hell up, your just jealous that Mahiru broke up with you because she wanted to spend more time with Sato, so leave him alone, I don't give two shits on what you're going to do to me when we go back to school, because I can easily tell the teachers about you harrassing Mikan"
He closed his phone, feeling like a badass.
He liked sticking up for people, especially the ones who can't stick up for themselves, like Gundham...
-the next day-
Kazuichi walked inside the school building, being greeted by tons of kids who he talked to.
He said hello to them and walked off, making his way to his other friend Fuyuhiko, "h-hey uhm... Fuyuhiko, can I maybe... Borrow one hundred dollars?" He murmured, scratching his neck, "... I need it... To live basically" He chuckled awkwardly.
"Uhm.. Sure? I guess..." He handed the money to Kazuichi and scoffed, "that's weird, you usually never ask for money, you said you'll feel bad..."
"... I know... B-But... My dad-... He uh.... Asked for it..."
"... Oh... That's what you meant by that"
Kuzuryuu and Souda made their way to the classroom, until a specific person stopped them.
"Hey! Grease monkey!"
"Oh fuck..." Kazuichi groaned, turning to Saionji.
She glared at him and walked inside the classroom...
"So... I'm guessing shes probably going to leave you alone now?" Fuyuhiko asked, "eh... I don't really care, it just bothers me on how rude she is ya know? Like, I can't do a single thing without her insulting me..."
Kuzuryuu nodded his head and took a seat next to Souda.
"..."
Tanaka slowly narrowed his eyes towards Kazuichi..
He looked so cool...
He has cool hair, a cool fashion style, cool friends, and probably cool parents too...
Gundham crossed his arms and rested his head on the desk, still keeping his eyes on Kazuichi...
"Hey! Weirdo! Be glad that I won't be picking on you for now! It's not my fault! That ugly grease monkey-"
Gundhams face turned red...
He just ignored what she was saying, all he cared about was the fact that Kazuichi stuck up for him...
Kazuichi cares about him...
He turned towards Kazuichi again...Was Kazuichi looking at Sonia..?
... Oh... Right... Kazuichi likes her...

The Wolf Saga, Wolf that Devours Empires
The Empire of Human is about to enter a turbulent era. A World Power has fallen. But mere hours after dying, he is reborn as a half-human, half-elf boy named Wolf. The story follows this odd boy as he grows up, his relationship with his father and those around him, his lack of common sense from being raised in the wilderness, and his desire for revenge. Witness Wolf's journey as he aspires to climb to the peak of the world to unravel its mysteries, and as he tries to figure out why it’s wrong to decapitate a street thug when the man tries to mug you. “I mean, the man literally said ‘Money or life,’ so what’s the big deal?” Releases Mon/Wen/Fri. (GMT-ish) Trigger warning. The Wolf Saga may not be suited for you if any of the following disturbs you: - The story will have fighting and killing. The gore will not be explicit, but there will be descriptions such as "head burst like a melon", "instantly turned to cinders", "blood splashed/fountained" etc. Most of the violence will be performed by the protagonist, some of it before he reaches his teens. If such scenes bother you, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have sexual content. It's there for a reason. Once again, these scenes will not be explicit. Genitals will be mentioned sometimes, but never described in detail. Nude bodies will be described in passing, without too many specific details. If you're afraid of nipples, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have a decent amount of cursing. If you haven't given up by now, this is unlikely to bother you. Still, I believe I should forewarn you that a number of curse words will be making appearance from time to time. - The story will have no small amount of loss for the main character. If you enjoy novels in which everything is fine, the protagonist makes it at the last moment and saves the day... This is not such a story. Life happens. As a reader, I'm annoyed with heroes making it in the nick of time, so for the sake of fairness I used dice on a number of occasions, making do with the result. Sometimes it was anticlimactic, sometimes it was tragic and it led to the story you see before you. Dedication: This story is written for Tired Mom and Wolf, whose arrival the rest of the pack is eagerly awaiting. Thanks: I would like to thank Tired Mom for her proofreading and encouragement over the years. I would like to thank you, Dear Reader, for taking the time to read this big pile of words.

Alcar's life sucks. His days in the poor quarter of the city of Katresburg are long and tough, his parents treat him like garbage, and he doesn’t have a silver moon to his name. But Alcar knows that there is an exciting world of adventure out there. And when he sees a half-orc master sorcerer walking through his neighborhood, he decides to grab his chance. At best, Alcar and the others have signed up to do unpaid labor. Things go from bad to worse when his fellow applicants for the role of apprentice prove to be reckless in the extreme, and as Master Maluhk’s tower catches fire, Alcar soon finds himself being blamed for their misdemeanors. Can Alcar clear his name, gain another chance, and learn enough to show that he has the potential to be a proper sorcerer’s apprentice? [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
