"May I ask for a dance?"
The voice was deep, fit the person that Karl soon faced.
A black suit with a red tie and a black and gold mask covering the upper part of his face.
"A scandalous question, don't you think? Two man dancing in such close manner?", Karl asked, teasingly. He knew his words weren't true, but he wanted to know how serious the stranger was with his offer.
Said one reached for his hand, bowed and kissed the back of it. Karl's breath hitched.
"Everything is scandalous if the people talk about it, but they can talk all they want when I got such a beautiful dance partner."
Karl's interest was caught, he even got a little flustered by the compliment, blushing just a little.
"Aren't you worried about consequences?"
"Nothing could be a worse consequence than laying awake at night, regretting to not having asked you to dance with me."
"You're really charming"
"Is that a yes?"
Karl smiled, held onto the arm that was offered to him and nodded.
"I would love to share a dance."
As they walked towards the dance floor, some people turned to them, some gasped and whispered.
Eventually, they reached their destination, bowed in front of each other, before they started to dance gracefully.
"May I ask what you name is?", the stranger asked, when he pulled Karl close by his waist.
"Karl of Time.", he replied, "What about you?"
"Sapnap of Halo."
Karl's eyes widened.
"You're the prince?", he asked quietly.
Sapnap smiled and nodded.
"Yes, what about it?"
"Isn't this ball for you to find a wife? Why are you dancing with me?"
"Maybe I don't want a wife, but a gorgeous husband, from a far away land such as the kingdom of time."

Karl's heart started to beat faster, as he started blushing.
"Maybe I want to tell the whole world that I found the person, that makes my head spin, that I want to hold close, that I want to get to know, till I know every detail, every way to make them happy.", the prince said, "Maybe my soul already found the missing piece."
Karl knew about the quirk blaze had, to find their missing piece, their flame, but never would he have thought, that he would once be the found piece.
"Then why don't you do it? Tell the world, that you found whom you've been searching for", Karl said softly, intervening their fingers, "That the missing piece is saying yes and that we wanna get married"
Sapnap smiled and softly reached for Karl's cheek. "Do you trust me?"
Karl smiled back and nodded.
It didn't take long, till he felt Sapnap kissing him.
Heat rose from the ground, surrounding them as they kissed and connected their souls and Karl felt what Sapnap felt all along.
It felt ancient and warm, gentle and soft.
As if they had known each other for a thousand life times.
Karl melted into Sapnaps touch and it felt familiar and just like it was his home, like Sapnap was his home.
When they parted the heat now lived inside their souls, like a memory of past times and Karl enjoyed it.
It was like their gifts had merged, with Sapnap's warmth and Karl's memory of time.
"I see, my son has found his flame. Incredible, I have never seen a light this bright before. This really must be a leap of faith.", the king said and people started applauding, but neither Karl nor Sapnap heard them.
They were far to deeply immersed in the feeling of finally arriving at their forever home.
A wave of emotions washed over Karl, tears forming in his eyes.
"I missed you.", he whispered and Sapnap, whose eyes also filled with tears, pulled him into a long hug.
"I missed you too."
It was beautiful, how their souls found one and other, being one again.

Natural Alchemist
Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Runicka: Tournament of Monsters (A GameLit Card Game Fantasy)
The runes are changing, and with it, the game itself changes. Taygion Ardwella finds himself stranded, alone, and on the run from some very determined guards who claim Tay's stolen from them. They're right, but that shouldn't mean Tay has to give back what he took. He's only been in Stormwall for a week and already, he's earning the ire of the most powerful and notorious House that controls the city's underground. And when their scion challenges Tay to a duel of cards, Tay will find himself thrust into a game of sorcery and strategy as he attempts to both find a way out of this mess and find his own way in the world. To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. And finally, expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**Currently on a small hiatus. I have a bit of a workplace crisis going on. I'm still writing, but I don't have time to polish and publish. Chapters will return on a regular basis soon though!!**
