"In the end, we couldn't find a soldier who used their device without permission." Gunther said as he passed me a cup of water and sat down on a concrete stairs after the visit on the dead corpses of Sawney and Bean. "Just who in the world....."
"Who knows? The world is unpredictable" I answered as I finished my water and went to 'Horse' and patted him.
"I'm more worried about the group assembly right now." Eld spoke. "I wonder how many recruit would be eccentric enough to enlist."
"Hey, Y/N. Eren" Gunther asked making me glance at him. "Are any of your comrades planning to enlist with us?"
"Yeh" I answered.
"Well, there were. We're not sure anymore." Eren added.
"Assemble!" Gunther shouted as I heard horse running towards us.
Gunther and Eld ran up to Levi as they did the salute. I normally walked up to them as they both glared at me to salute but I didn't.
'I ain't saluting brats'
"Get ready to leave. We're heading to the assembly." Levi spoke.
"Sir!" I along with Eld and Gunther answered.
"Good morning Levi." I spoke up casually without thinking as Levi stopped his horse before leaving. Gunther and Eld were dumbfounded when I just called the Lance Corporal with his own name without honorifics.
"Y/N, supervise your brother. You can handle that brat more than I can" Levi said.
"Yes sure, Heichou" I answered lazily as he went away. I looked at Eren and placed my hand on his shoulder. "Lets get going, Little Brat"
Gunther and Eld were more dumbfounded when they saw their own Lance Corporal ignored Y/N for calling him by his name.
We both ran to the stables as I took Horse out and sat on his back. Eren was behind me as we took off.

I look behind me as I saw a once in a lifetime sight. It was Levi petting Horse.
'That's a shocker.'
"We of the special op squad will be here." My attention went back to Gunther who pointed out the position on a map. "In the center of the rear, on standby."
"That's quiet far back." Eren said.
"It's the safest position in the formation." Gunther added. "Even more secure than where the supply wagons are. Well we don't have a real objective this time. The exposition won't cover much ground since it's just a test run before we get you to Shiganshina District."
'Wait.... a test run? But it's a risk because it'll cause lives... what is the Commander thinking when he decided for this expedition?' I started to chew my nails out of habit. 'Or maybe..... The Commander is trying to lure the culprit who killed Sawney and Bean... it could be a possibility...'
"Did you understand the meaning of the Commander question back then?" I heard Gunther asked.
"Did anyone of you understand it?" Eren asked.
"No" Eld answered as Eren looked at Petra but shook their head as a no. Eren looked at me.
'Who do you think is the enemy? It could be humanity itself or... maybe more... in this world we live in animals, plants, humans and titans exist.... So the only thing that could fit in the answer is humanity or titans.. or both?'
"Y/N?" Eren asked as I shook my head as a no.
'Tho I'm not confident about my answer... We'll see in the future..'

"I'd be lying if I said I know for sure. That said I-"
"This pperation may have another objective." Gunther cutted out Olou as he rolled the layout of the formation. "However, the Commander decided to keep that hidden from everyone."
'The Commander's brain is really built different'
"So we should just focus on pulling this off without incident. Trust in the Commander." Gunther said as he stood up and left.

I lowered down the bucket as me and Eren were finished on cleaning the stables. Tho I didn't want to do this, Eren had begged me for my help so I did helped him.
We went out of the stables as I saw Mikasa and Armin walking to the left.
'MAH BABIES!' I mentally screamed as I saw them looking healthy and alive. 'I had been separated after I escaped from them to find Eren.'
"Olou, may we go speak with our friends for a bit?" Eren asked.
"Jeez just go already." Olou answered as we ran up to our friends.
"Mikasa! Armin!" I exclaimed.
"Eren, Y/N!" Mikasa greeted.
"It feels like it's been forever." Eren said.
"Eren, did they do anything horrible to you?" Mikasa asked as she took Eren's hands. "Like inspecting every bit of your body or causing you mental anguish?"
"Don't worry, Mikasa. Nothing happened besides I'm right here to protect him" I said as Mikasa faced me.
"Y/N, you can't just sneak off from us. What if some people will harras you?" Mikasa said.
"But they didn't." I answered.
"Oh by the way, Congratulations on making on the special operation squad" Armin spoke as I smiled giving a thanks.
"That shorty went too far." Mikasa gritted her teeth as she looks like she was planning the Lance Corporal's grave any second. "I'll pay him back in kind someday"
"You're not talking about Lance Corporal Levi, are you?" Eren asked. From the corner of my eyes, I saw the shorty heichou going out of the stables with his horse as he look at us and went away.
'Where is he going?' I thought.
"Hey Eren, Y/N!" I heard Connie's voice as I look behind. It was our friends.
"It's been a while!" Sasha exclaimed as she side hugged me.
"Oh wow, you're all here!" Eren exclaimed as I smiled at the scene before me.
"So.... All of you enlisted here?" I spoke.
"Why else would we be here?" Connie said.
"Then, the only one's who picked the Military Police Brigade are Jean, Annie and Marco" Eren said as my face fell sad for a bit.
'I'll probably just write Annie a letter. I do wish she enlisted in the Survey Corps.' I heard someone walking towards us as our friends look behind us. It was Trost Boy.
'I thought it was Annie. But I'm quite suprised the Jean would enlist in the Survey Corps instead of the Military Police.'
"Trost boy?" I exclaimed as Jean blushed.
"Don't call me that!" Jean exclaimed.
"You're kidding me? You too!? " Eren spoke in shock.
"Marco is dead." Jean said as my eyes widened.
'Marco?! Marco was as pure as the sun could be. Why?....... Marco.... I wish you the best in the afterlife.. You deserve it.' I thought.
"What....... did you just say?" Eren asked dumbfounded from the given news to him. "Did you say Marco's dead?!"

"It seems like not everyone dies in dramatic death. We don't even know how he went down." Jean said as he looked down. "He died alone without anyone seeing or knowing."
"Marco....." Eren said as his face fell as well as mine.
'No one knew that he died. He was alone, all by himself.... He didn't deserve that kind of death compared from his pure soul...'
"Hey, recruits, Gather up!" A squad leader shouted. "Your uniforms are here."
They all wear the wings of freedom on their back. It felt like I was watching my own children graduate and do something amazing.
"Y/N!" I heard a certain shorty call me as he was there waiting outside the stables.
"Eren, I'll be back..." I told the younger boy beside me as I came up to the Lance Corporal.
"Is there anything you want shorty- I mean Heichou.." I accidentally blurted and gave a not so reassuring smile as the Lance Corporal looks so done.
"Follow me" He said as he led me inside. "Don't call me that"
"Call you what? Heichou? Or should I call you Levi?" I spoke taunting cautiously at the man leading me to somewhere. "By the way, where are we going? Maybe you're kidnapping me and make me your wife... I'll tell Commander Erwin about this.."
"Imagine all you want because that will never happen" Levi said as we stopped at a door. He opened it showing Commander Erwin sitting on his desk looking professional as ever.
"Y/N, take a seat" Commander Erwin spoke as I did. I looked behind me as the door was closed and Heichou was nowhere to be seen.
"So...." I took a deep and sad sigh. "Am I here because you'll scold me for painting your bed sheets pink or the time where I experimented the soup I gave to you by accident?"
The Commander chuckled at my nonsense as his face turned back to his professional side.
"It's about another thing but I'll keep it in mind of what you said." He said. "So Y/N Yeager... I have eager questions for you to answer... Are you okay with this?"
"Yeah sure.." I calmly answered.
_________________________
"That's all, Y/N" Commander Erwin said with a satisfactorily smile from my answers I gave. "I never knew you had a mind different like others. You can leave now."
"Thanks Erwin" I matched the aura of his smile to mine. The Commander insisted me on calling him by his name.
'Erwin is a nice companion. A mind and mannerism like his is an ideal man.'
I went out of the room where me and the Commander had questions as Levi was there by the door waiting.
"Did you just eavesdrop on our conversation?" I asked as Levi was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed. "I never knew the Lance Corporal was that kind of person"
"The room is sound proof.. I can't hear anything than people outside" He boringly said.
"Then why are you still here?" I asked.
"To train" Heichou answered as my face was dumbfounded.
"Train?! The sun is already going to set?! Isn't it dangerous to train at night?" I pointed at the window the displays the sun setting.
He ignored me as he took my hand and dragged me.
'How the heck is he that strong to drag me to places with his small body?' I thought as we reached outside where there was no people.
"Are we litteraly gonna do this at a time like this?" I asked once again.
"Yes and stop asking." He answered. "attack me.. Let's see if you're offense is hard enough to take me down"
"I never knew the Lance Corporal wanted it the hard way" I teasingly said as I threw away my blazer and punched the man.
_________________________
It was hours. Night already fell as the two people were still training with each other as partners. The two were both sweating and tired but they never forfeited.
"Aren't you.... aren't you tired Lance Corporal.... Maybe you should quit" Y/N tauntingly said as she gasped for air.
"Never in a million years would I quit, Yeager" Levi spatted as he gasped for air as well.
'Now!' Y/N thought as she charged forward even from her own tired state. She wanted to win. But the Lance Corporal also wanted to.
The two were now on the ground battling on strength to defeat the other.
'I have to.... win.... fight...' Y/N did all her best to win but the Lance Corporal took the girl's hands and pin them on the ground, same with her feet.
The girl tried to use all of her strength to force out of Levi's grip but failed as she gasped for air once again in defeat.
"See, Yeager, If you did more training you could've done this to me" Levi smirked as he successfully won the fight. Y/N was suprised that the humanity's strongest smirked.
"Yeh yeah. You win. Whatever." Y/N said.
But they didn't know that there were 5 people looking at them in shock at the scene
"The Lance Corporal and Y/N?!" Connie and Sasha exclaimed.
"Could this even happened?" Mikasa asked.
"Well actually yes. When we stayed at the old scout regiment HQ, Y/N acted a little different when we told her that she and the Lance Corporal had a tension with each other" Eren said.
"Wow.... Y/N is already in the right age to marry" Armin said.
"Y/N getting married?!!" Mikasa exclaimed as she worries for her older sister.
Back at Y/N and Levi.
Levi stood up and gave a hand to Y/N as he helped her up. Y/N patted her t-shirt to clean the dirt from her.
"That was a good fight, Yeager. I expect that you're skills for tomorrow's expedition will be better" Levi said as Y/N looked at the way where her five friends were looking.
But good thing, the 5 hid right in time to not be seen as Y/N just shrugged and look back at Lance Corporal.
"Let's go back. It's probably dinner already." Levi spoke as Y/N tried to walk but got met with pain.
"My...My ankle got twisted from our fight." Y/N said as she was suddenly carried by the Lance Corporal Levi who didn't look bothered. "W-what are y-you doing?!!"
"Shut up, Brat. I'm hungry" Levi replied. Y/N went quiet as her cheeks were as red as a tomato. "You look like a tomato."
"I do not!" Y/N exclaimed as the Lance Corporal went away as far from Connie, Sasha, Mikasa, Armin and Eren.
'It looks like they really are dating!!' The five thought.
