March came with all sorts of anticipation: the senior prank, their senior trip, graduation, and of course an early start to summer before college. It had been an eventful weekend to say the least: Hyde, Kelso, and Fez climbed the water tower to vandalize it. Kelso fell—as was to be expected. Fez got caught and the police found out his visa expires with graduation. Donna and Eric got Red's blessing to leave for Madison after graduation. Eric invited Lucy to move with them—claiming he couldn't be without his womb mate before college. And George actually had dinner with the Forman's one night and Red took a liking to him. His only fault being that he wasn't American.

So it was a relief when the gang was able to sit in the basement, Kelso sitting in the lawn chair, the twins on the couch and Hyde in his regular spot.

"Ah, my last American Popsicle washed down by my last American grape soda," Fez said nostalgically.

"Fez, it's sad you're getting deported but this last American crap's getting annoying," Hyde rolled his eyes.

Lucy nodded, "Yeah, he probably wouldn't even be getting deported if you two could not fight for once," she said pointedly at Kelso and Hyde.

"Ah, my last American chance to annoy you guys," Fez smiled.

Eric spoke up, "Hey, come on, Fez. Look on the bright side, I mean, we graduate tomorrow. You go to your country with a high school diploma they'll probably make you, like, head medicine man or something." Causing Lucy to smack her twin upside the head.

"Eric, there is no bright side about going back to a place where people are outnumbered by lizards," Fez pouted.

Kelso patted Fez on the back, "I'm gonna miss you, man. When you get there, can you mail me a lizard?"

"Eric, guess what came for you?" Donna announced as she walked through the back door.

"Hey, they just send those to me!" Eric started defending himself, "I don't even find those girls attractive."

"No, you perv," Donna laughed. "It's the key to our new apartment in Madison!" The twins both sat up excitedly as Donna handed them the package. "Now we can leave tomorrow after graduation like we wanted!"

"Great!" Eric cheered. "By this time next week, our new neighbors will be hearing your cries of love through our paper-thin walls!"

"Cries of love?" Hyde raised an eyebrow, "Or cries of disappointment?"

"Either way, I think I'll wait an extra week to head your way," Lucy said with a grimace. "George can drive me on the way to the airport!"

"I can't believe you're moving Luce," Kelso sat down shaking his head.

Lucy shrugged, "Why not get a jumpstart on living on my own ya know? No point in staying here."

"Oh, I don't want to go!" Fez whined, reminded of his own leaving.

"Come on, Fez. It's not like we're never gonna see you again. I'm sure in a couple months you'll be, like on the cover of National Geographic," Eric tried helpfully.

Fez scowled, "Yeah, those bastards are always so intrusive."

"Fez, look. At least we're going camping tonight," Donna reminded him.

"Yeah, our one last hoorah!" the blonde nodded.

"Are we sure it should be all of us?" Kelso asked, squinting slightly.

"We're not leaving Jackie out, if that's what you mean," Lucy said, walking over to the freezer for a popsicle.

Kelso shrugged, "I just meant, wouldn't it be real awkward to have you and Hyde there?"

"Shut up Kelso," the two parties said simultaneously.

Hyde continued with his arms crossed, "It's not like it matters."

Moving to sit on the back of the couch, Lucy nodded, "Yeah, I mean, I'm with George, and Hyde has been sleeping around again."

Hyde hummed, "Yep, if you think about it, order has been restored."

"Yeah, how the hell Hyde ever functioned in a monogamous relationship is beyond me," Lucy said causally, leaning back in her seat and crossing her legs as she opened her magazine.

"Stumps me too," Hyde said with a smug grin, bitterness lacing his voice in the undertone.

The group sat in silence for a moment before Eric fake cheered, "Great! One big nice awkward trip to send us all off!"

Fez rolled his eyes, "Would you please put aside your differences and go camping with me? We only have a few hours left together."

"Fine," Hyde shrugged while Lucy held her hands up, "I'm not the one being awkward."

"Good," Fez nodded, "Now, I am off to spend the rest of my American money on candy and porno." Lucy scrunched up her face in disgust while Donna began protesting before Fez held his hand up and sang, "I said, candy and porno!"

Lucy walked into the basement to grab one of the sleeping bags to find everyone chatting and laughing away with the addition of George.

"Lucy! There you are!" Jackie cheered, "George was just telling us about his trip to New York last summer!"

"This guy has been freaking everywhere!" Kelso hollered.

Lucy smiled, "Yeah, I know, he really doesn't help how much I hate this place," she joked, sitting beside him as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

"We'll go on a trip soon, I promise," he chuckled, causing her to beam at him and place a kiss on his cheek. The two smiling at eachother for a moment while the others talked of places they wanted to visit.

"So, when are you leaving?" Hyde asked stoically.

George looked away from Lucy, "Huh? Oh, end of the month, going to Australia to see the family."

Hyde nodded while Jackie and Lucy began whispering to one another, "How long is he gone?"

"Like all summer," the blonde rolled her eyes. "But then he'll be back and I mean, it looks like I'm going to University of Wisconsin—which is great 'cause I can be with Eric and Donna and George. But I think George is renting an apartment nearby."

"Ooh," Jackie winked, "Move in with him to save money," she suggested.

Causing Lucy to erupt with laughter and shove her shoulder, "Try explaining that to my dad!"

"Hey!" Eric started, "I mean, if you're gonna be away all summer, why don't you come camping with us?"

Lucy spun to look at her twin with a bright smile, while George nodded with a chuckle, "I don't see why not. I don't have much else to do."

The drive up was about what could be expected. Kelso was driving up front with Fez and Hyde, while the three Formans, George, Donna, and Jackie crammed in the back. Jackie giving Laurie some death glares initially considering she half-ruined her first relationship; Donna and Eric being lovey and cuddling; Lucy sat beside George and the two talked and napped basically the entire way; Fez eating candy and conveniently distracting Hyde from looking in the rear view mirror the entire time.

They finally got up there by nightfall, and were roasting marshmallows when Donna started, "You know, it really creeps me out being up here after what happened to those kids."

"What kids?" Kelso snapped up nervously from strumming Jackie a love song on his guitar which she rolled her eyes at.

"A bunch of kids—just like us—were camping out up here and they disappeared," Donna continued with a flashlight shining on her face, "And all the police could find were these bloody drag marks that led down to the lake. It was like—it was like something killed them and then pulled them in."

Fez piped up, "Maybe it was the Loch Ness Monster."

"No," Laurie shook her head, "Fez, the Loch Ness Monster's in Africa."

Donna nodded before continuing, "So the police, like, searched the lake with their sonar and stuff and when they played back the tapes all they could hear in the background was, like, a whisper."

Lucy rolled her eyes but leaned closer to George nonetheless, feeling uneasy, "You're spooked?" he asked surprised.

"Pssh, no way, this is childish," Lucy forced a laugh, before sitting closer to him.

"What did it say?" Kelso asked urgently.

"I am the Lady of the Lake. I am the Lady of the Lake. Yeah, and you'll know when she's coming, because she screams before she kills. Let's see if we can hear her," Donna nodded eagerly, pausing a moment, before repeating louder, "I said, let's see if we can hear her."

From the woods Eric spoke up, "D—Donna, I'm stuck in a thornbush."

"I heard her!" Kelso screeched, "She's stuck in a thornbush!" Jackie smacked Kelso to get him to stop yelling in her ear.

Laurie went down to the lake, Fez hesitating for a moment before shouting "I choose boobs!"

Jackie went to the van to grab her nail polish she brought and Donna and Eric were soon missing as well.

Lucy and George sat beside the fire, eating s'mores before Hyde stalked off and went to his tent, "I can't believe you have to leave so soon," Lucy jutted her lip out in a pout. George smiled slightly at the girl and she furrowed her eyebrows, "What?"

"Well, actually, I got a call from a friend today, he had bought his ticket after I got mine and was going to come with me for a month. But he has to take summer classes and can't leave," George explained.

Lucy whistled lowly, "That sucks," she said obviously, looking at her marshmallow roasting.

"Lu," the boy looked at her with a smirk, "So, I have an extra ticket," he drew out. Lucy froze for a moment before pulling her marshmallow out of the fire with a hum. "I want you to come with me," George rattled off quickly.

"Ouch!" Lucy yelped, jumping up in shook when she burned herself on the still flaming marshmallow. "Are you kidding?" she looked at him wide eyed.

"No," George shook his head with a light laugh.

"Oh my God!" Lucy cheered, jumping up and down, "I'm so happy—I could—" she sat down in his lap, kissing him deeply. "I'd love to go," she said, pulling away, with her arms around his neck, playing with his hair.

And then high pitch screaming quickly pulled the two out of their stupor, especially when Kelso came running through, "It's the Lady of the Lake! She screams and then she kills!"

Causing Jackie to come running back from the van, and Hyde to come crawling out of his tent, who looked at Lucy quizically, the girl mouthing back an annoyed what?

"Kelso!" Jackie whined, "You made me drop my nail polish with all your stupid shouting!"

Lucy sat up with a sigh, ducking into her own tent. "It's not gonna be stupid screaming when you're the one being dragged into the lake! Huh, Jackie!" Kelso defended loudly.

The blonde came out of her tent with a victorious grin, "I can fix it!" And she held up a bag of her stash, the fire light almost making it look like it had an angelic halo.

The gang sat around the fire, the smoke from the fire and they're recreational activity blending together.

"It was awful," Eric shook his head, his arm slung around Donna, "I saw Laurie, and everything just went blank. And I just ran, Donna—I just ran away. And then I heard these high-pitched screams. And it was me."

"Yeah?" the redhead challenged with a raised eyebrow, "Well, I've got bigger problems. Fez is a good artist. He's gonna paint me onto a nudie poster and sell it to every gaucho in Argentina, or wherever the hell he's from. Eric, I'm gonna be Ms. Nude Argentina."

"You know, being here under the stars sitting in the grass makes me really glad I'm not poor," Jackie nodded seriously.

"Man, check out that fire, baby. Yeah, if there's one thing I'm good at, it's turning a small fire into a big fire!" Kelso laughed dumbly, "Man, that one guitar-shaped log is roarin'. What the—is that my guitar?"

"Yep," Jackie nodded, Lucy sent her a proud smile, knowing she was sick of Kelso's pining, "The fire crackling is literally like music now."

"Could you be any more annoying!" Kelso scoffed.

Jackie smirked, "Actually, this might be my peak."

"I'm happy for you Jackie," Lucy nodded. "You know who I'm more happy for?" the blonde smiled, obviously baked, "Me! I'm going to Australia!" she threw her arms around George.

"I mean, look at you, you're gonna give a speech tomorrow as salutatorian, and then next month, we'll be in Australia!" George exclaimed proudly, "I mean, damn! My girl is the coolest!"

"You just called me your girl," Lucy teased.

Donna looked to Hyde, who was just looking down at his hands, "This is a bad batch," he mumbled.

"My stash is the best, okay," Lucy defended with a high giggle, "You're just used to the cheap stuff."

"I'm telling you, it's bad Lucy!" Hyde affirmed, unamused.

"Drama," Donna sang.

Eric nodded, "Man, for a second there I almost forgot about my sister's wet, naked ass."

"Oh, God! Yeah, where is Laurie? And where's Fez?" Donna asked, bewildered.

The gang only looked around themselves in confusion before shrugging.

Lucy woke up slowly the next morning, her head resting on George's chest and her leg thrown over him. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes before sitting up. She looked down at the boy, his hair messy and he wasn't wearing a shirt. The blonde admired him and gently touched his bicep, "Like a freaking god," she whispered dreamily.

She furrowed her eyebrows before looking down and realized that she was wearing his green flannel from the night before. "Shit," she whispered before looking down her shirt to see she wasn't wearing her bra, "Shit," she threw the sleeping bag open to see she wasn't wearing any pants or shorts, "Shit."

"What are you doing?" George mumbled quietly, turning to hug her waist.

"I'm not wearing pants," she whispered, almost childishly. George opened one eye and squinted up at her, "Are you—you know?" she nodded to him.

He sat up and peeked under the sleeping bag, "Um, no pants, but underwear. What happened last night? How do you feel?"

"I was gonna ask you! Oh my God, oh my God, I don't know, I feel tired and confused!" Lucy screeched, before her hand flew up to her mouth. "I literally always remember what happened after I smoke! And I've remembered some weird shit!"

George sat up, running a hand through his hair, and down his face before glimpsing at his watch. "Uh, not to change the topic, but what time is graduation?"

"11:30," Lucy answered absentmindedly, ravaging through the tent to find her bra.

George hummed, "That's what I thought, and how long does it take to get back?"

"An hour-ish," Lucy responded. "Can you help me?"

"Lu, it's 10:20," the boy revealed.

The blonde turned to the boy and blinked once before throwing her hands up in exasperation, "Mother of God!" She crawled out of the tent—not very gracefully, hopping into her jeans, "Everyone get up! We slept in!"

Donna and Eric were the first out of their tents, Jackie next, kicking Kelso who slept out by the fire, who shot up in only his underwear and holding a stuffed bear. Hyde was last and peered out annoyed. The crew was able to get all their stuff together in a record time before running off.

"Wait, wait. Guys? Guys, where's the van?" Jackie shrieked, dropping her things.

Kelso huffed, "I think it's obvious, Jackie. The Lady of the Lake stole it."

Hyde spun to their dumb friend, "Why would a ghost need a van?"

"What's she gonna do, hitch a ride?" Kelso scoffed, "Who's gonna pick up a ghost?"

"Told you it was a bad batch, it's why we all slept in," Hyde mumbled to no one in particular, before laughing to himself.

"What?" Everyone turned to look at him.

He composed himself enough to stop laughing, "LSD—you're batch was literally laced with it."

Lucy practically face palmed, "Oh my God, that's why we can't remember!" she whispered to George.

"Dude, where's your shirt," Eric asked awkwardly. Causing his twin and the boy to glance at each other.

"Wh—What shirt?" the blonde tried to play it off.

"Oh my God!" Jackie and Donna screeched at once, but Donna continuing on a different note, "Fez and Laurie. They probably took it to mess with us!"

"I'm gonna kill 'em!" Eric shouted.

"Eric, if I'm right about the Lady of the Lake, and I think I am they might already be dead," Kelso said forlornly.

Lucy grumbled in frustration, "My speech! You know who's behind me? Teresa Willis! You remember Hyde?" she turned to the curly haired boy.

"Teresa Willis?" he asked seriously, causing the girl to nod vigorously, before he gasped dramatically, "I don't care," he deadpanned.

The blonde stood there for a moment, glaring at him before she dropped all her stuff on his foot, causing him to wince. She pulled her shirt and bra out of the pile, Kelso's eyes almost popping out of their sockets before she pulled George into the cover of the trees to change.

They finally made it back to the house—long after graduation—by hitching a ride with a pig van. Everyone more than upset with the situation. Donna and Eric spent the rest of the day packing and Lucy tried to figure out how to say Hey mom and dad, this guy, that I've known for like seven months, wants me to go to Australia with him for a month in two weeks and I really want to go.

5:00 sharp, as promised, the gang all stood in the driveway in their caps and gowns.

"Son, here's 10 bucks for gas," Red smiled, placing the cash into Eric's hand.

"No way, thanks!" Eric said surprised.

"Well, I just want to make sure that you get out—I mean, that you get, um, all the way there," Red nodded, patting Eric on the back, before looking to his daughter, "Lucetta, where are your bags, I know you have loads of crap I bought you."

"About that Dad," Lucy winced before she felt someone pull on the sleeve of her gown and pull her back.

She was pulled to the other side of the Vista Cruiser and was face-to-face with Hyde, "I had a bad trip," he whispered.

Lucy sighed, "Yeah, uh, I did too—well, I can't remember it."

"I had this dream, and it felt really real," he continued, Lucy nodding along, "It was you and me."

"What about us?" Lucy sighed tiredly.

Hyde shook his head, absentmindedly pushing a hair away from her face, "Thats the thing, I don't remember. But it was just us and it felt right. Lu—"

The girl panicked as soon as he brushed the hair from her face and cut him off, blurting out, "I slept with George."

His face quickly hardened and Lucy felt some fear lift off of her. She couldn't trust herself around Steven, she already had and—well she could clearly see the mess that got her in. If he was mad at her, she didn't have to worry about falling for him again. "Right, sorry, I almost forgot about Mr. Down Under."

Not trusting her voice above a whisper, Lucy shook her head, "No you didn't." He avoided her stare and that was enough for her to know. "We had it good Steven," she said softly, reaching for his hand, "But I—I think we're a little too different, and I really just need us to be friends again okay?"
