Lucy basically sat in shock in the living room after the ambulance came to take Red to the hospital, Kitty went and sat with him in the back—the kids were told they could meet them there but not allowed in. She was chewing the inside of her cheek in worry and her eyes were staring blankly ahead at the tv.

"Luce," her twin called from the staircase, walking down slowly, holding a bag with a change of clothes for their mother. She hummed and spun around in the oversized green chair. "We're gonna head over now."

"Okay," she nodded hesitantly before standing up and going out to the Cruiser; Eric hopping in the driver's seat and Laurie slamming the passenger seat closed while Lucy slid into the back next to Hyde. All of them driving in silence on the way to the hospital.

Once they arrived everyone piled out and made way to the front desk. "Forman," Eric spoke up.

"You're all family?" the nurse questioned as she flipped through her clipboard. Eric nodded in reply, rubbing the tiredness out of his eye. The nurse directed them down the neverending hallway to Red's room.

Laurie took one peak into the room and spun on her heel, facing Lucy, "I can't go in there."

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked in a hushed whisper, reaching for her sister's hand.

"I can't see Dad like that—look at him!" she whispered with a point.

Lucy peaked through the window and saw her father, propped up on the hospital bed, talking quietly with Kitty and the boys by his side. Multiple machines around him beeping and his face still pale in recovery. Red Forman made a point to keep up his strong front and to never let his guard down—so seeing him so vulnerable, it was off-putting to all of them—and especially his daughters.

After a moment, Laurie spoke up softly, "I did that to him."

Lucy whipped her head around to her sister and scrunched up her nose, "Don't be dumb Laurie," she said suddenly. "It's nobody's fault." So, hand in hand, the sisters walked in and joined the boys and their mother.

"Ah, there are my girls," Red greeted as they sat by his side, each giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Later that night, the doctor came back into Red's room while he was sleeping and informed everyone that he would be fine but needed to stay a couple more days before being checked out.

The air literally felt lighter and everyone sighed in relief. Kitty jumped up with a clap and said "Okay, I'm going to go down and get us all some food from the cafeteria!" Laurie following behind her.

Eric nodded and said, "I'm gonna call Donna and let her know that everything's going to be alright."

Lucy turned to look at her father and started walking towards the door, with a nod she said, "I'm just going to go use the bathroom." But even though she could keep her voice steady she wasn't able to keep her hands from shaking, and left the room as the door slammed shut and she walked down the hallway.

Hyde shifted on his feet for a moment, before looking to the man asleep in the hospital bed and realized he would probably say something along the lines of if you don't make sure she's okay, I'm going to put my foot so far up your ass... So with a frustrated sigh, he quickly followed her and called her name before coming up and grabbing her shoulders to stop her, "Hey, hey, calm down."

The blonde looked up at him and sighed, her eyes brimming with tears, "He could've died," her voice was wobbly and she looked down at her hands as she clutched them together to stop them from shaking.

"Hey, don't do that," Hyde shook his head, bending down to look at her and tipping up her chin.

"I just—I don't know what I would've done. I don't know what I would've done if we lost him, Steven," she shook her head.

Hyde paused for a second before cracking a smile, "You really think Red Forman is going to let some pansy-ass foreigner have the satisfaction of killing him?"

Lucy laughed inbetween her tears, "No," she rolled her eyes. The pair looked at one another for a moment before Lucy hugged the boy, standing on her tiptoes and wrapping her arms around his neck while he pulled her close, his hands on her waist. The smell of smoke, mint, and weed engulfed her as she buried her face in his jacket before stepping away. "Thank you Hyde," she sighed, tucking her hair behind both ears.

"It's what I do," he shrugged.

Lucy rolled her eyes before looking down the hall to see George coming out of the elevator, she smiled before running down the hall and jumping into his arms. The smell of pine, coffee, and peppermint embedded in his flannel. He kissed her forehead before setting her down.

The blonde boy sighed apologetically, "I got here as soon as I could." He looked past Lucy and to Hyde who had walked up to them, "Hey man."

"Hey," Hyde nodded, "It was real cool of you for coming, man."

"Wait, how'd you know. I completely forgot to call you in the frenzy," Lucy asked.

"Jackie called me," George chuckled, "Girl really knows how to spread the word fast."

"Gotta love Jackie," Lucy let out a laugh.

The weekend finally passed without much more of a problem. Lucy sat at the kitchen, on George's lap as she read his new article and he worked on suduko. She cradled her cup of coffee and kept on looking up at the kitchen clock.

Hyde sauntered in from the living room and saw the girl, "Time's not going to pass any faster if you keep looking at the clock Lucy," he said condescendingly before grabbing a bowl and pouring himself some cereal. Lucy sticking her tongue out at him when his back was turned and then smiling sweetly.

Kelso pushed the kitchen door open and walked in wearing a jumpsuit and a sweatband, before slamming the refrigerator door open and grabbing some eggs.

George shook his head, "How can you read like this?"

"It doesn't happen often," she giggled quietly.

Kelso violently cracked open the eggs and poured them into his glass, the three at the table staring up at him unamused. "Yeah, it's a sweatband, I'm wearing sweatbands now."

"What are you doing?" Hyde asked as Kelso stirred the cup.

Kelso looked up, "Well, police academy starts in a week so I gotta get in shape. So I'm eating raw eggs—like Rocky."

"Oh please tell me you've seen Rocky!" Lucy turned to look at George.

He chuckled, "Lu, just 'cause I'm Australian doesn't mean I haven't seen American movies."

Lucy held up her hands defensively, "Well excuse me! You haven't seen Jaws so what am I supposed to think?"

"Kelso, Rocky, ate raw eggs cause he was training for a fight—if he was training to be a cop he'd just flunk out a high school and grow a bad mustache," Hyde joked.

"Oh, I'm growing the bad mustache," Kelso nodded. Just then, Eric and Fez shamefully walked through the back door. "Ooh! Forman, just because there's a sale at Penny's doesnt mean you gotta buy everything," Kelso jokes upon seeing the boy dressed in a pajama blouse and pantless.

"Hey, Fez, you're suppose to bring your date home and then take her pants off," Hyde added in fake helpfulness.

Lucy rested her chin in her palm, "So I guess Donna really is the one that wears the pants in the relationship—because you sure aren't wearing any."

"Burn," Kelso shouted.

Eric merely shrugged and walked to the kitchen counter, "Fellas—and lady, I'm afraid your little jokes don't bother me, because soon I will be starting my new life in Madison, where if I so choose I can wear ladies clothes all I want!"

"Really? Where is this Madison?" Fez asked excitedly, "So I can go there and kick their dress-wearing asses—Guys come on! I'm all man, I'm married to Eric's slutty sister."

"Yeah, how's that going?" Kelso asked before sitting at the table.

"Oh, not great," Fez sighed, "but I'm pretty sure when Laurie gets back from our honeymoon in Cancun things will pick up"

Hyde looked up from his cereal, "Laurie went on your honeymoon alone?"

"Oh, no that would be crazy. She took her friend, Carlos, along to keep an eye on her—but I paid for both of them so everyone knows who the man is in this deal," Fez explained.

Jackie walked in wearing her bikini top and her wrap, "Lucy! You're not even ready to go!"

"Crap, Jackie, I can't. Dad gets out of the hospital today," Lucy sighed, remembering that she had agreed to go with the girls to the pool.

"Right, crap!" Jackie sighed.

"Hey Jackie," Kelso nodded, standing up, "You want to see something hot? Watch me drink raw eggs!"

"Oh, Michael—" Jackie started.

But as always, he bickered with the girl and interrupted her before chugging his raw eggs. "Now, what is so important?"

"You're allergic to eggs!" Jackie yelled.

"Oh, man, I am!" Kelso laughed stupidly, "Yeah, I gotta go to the hospital."

"That's okay, I'll drive. I gotta pick up my folks anyway. Ready Luce?" Eric asked before walking out.

"Ready!" she perked up quickly and got up. She turned to George, who was still sitting, "Your article was great," she pecked him on the lips, "I'll see you when you get back." Lucy darted out and hopped in the car.

Hyde and Fez watched her run out, "Ooh, that must be so humiliating," Fez whispered, "The love of your life not even looking your way."

"Fez, your wife's on your honeymoon with another guy," Hyde shot back.

"Oh, no, no, no Carlos is just like a—he's kinda like a—like a chaperone, he, uh—Son of a bitch!" Fez shouted before Hyde walked out to get in the car.

The teens drove along to the hospital, Hyde and Eric up front with Lucy sitting in the back, Kelso resting his head in her lap while she combed through his hair soothingly.

"How you doin back there, Kelso?" Eric asked.

Kelso sat up abruptly, "My eyes fell tight, do I look okay?"

The three turned slowly to look at him. Hyde practically jumped towards the door, shouting, "Oh crap!"

Lucy letting out a small yelp before her hands flew up to cover her mouth, scooting over to the door in shock.

"Oh my God!" Eric yelled, swerving the car slightly before turning back around.

"What? What?" Kelso asked nervously.

"Nothing!" Eric reassured, "We're just shocked at how—" he hesitated for a moment, looking between the two others and raising an eyebrow while Lucy mouthed I don't know! "Great you look," but it came out more like a question.

"Oh, it's the sweatband," Kelso nodded positively, "I'm wearing sweatbands now."

They got to the hospital, Hyde rushing Kelso in and the twins meeting with their parents and the doctor. Only to find out the cause of his heart attack wasn't his abundance of rage—but his suppression of it.

The four walked through the back door and Kitty ushered them all in, "Now, get you upstairs for your nap," she directed at Red, "and Eric, Lucy, he needs quiet, so no shenanigans!"

"Mom, please," Eric rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, "I haven't shenaniganed in about six years. I've hooliganed, I've no-good nicked, I've ne'er done well—just yesterday I caught myself rabble rousin—ow!" Eric yelped, clutching his foot after Lucy stomped on it.

"Will you shut up!" Red shouted.

They walked into the living room only to see Fez with a balloon and some flowers, "Welcome home, Dad!"

"You! You got a lot of nerve showing your face around here after what you did to my daughter!"

"Hey!" Fez started defensively, "I did you a favor! That girl's been passed around this town—"

"No!" The other three Forman's shouted immediately as Kitty rushed forward, "Okay, you have already given him one heart attack, that's enough, now hush!"

Lucy passed Eric a bowl of candy and he handed then to Fez to cheer him up, "Hey, look buddy, rasionettes!"

"Okay, okay, nap time!" Kitty demanded, pushing Red towards the stairs. "Oh Eric, your father has a check up next week so I need you to take him. And Lucy, this weekend, I'm gonna need your help with keeping an eye on him while I work."

"Mom," Lucy started.

Eric interrupted, "We're going to Madison next week. I'm starting summer semester, I have to register for college, remember? This—I'm not gonna be here, we're moving away."

"Oh, so you're still going?" Kitty asked, eyebrow raised.

"Yes, I'm still going," Eric scoffed, "It's college!"

"Fine!" Kitty nodded curtly. "Lucetta you can still help me this weekend can't you?"

Lucy looked down at her clasped hands for a moment, the image of George and Australian beaches passing through her thoughts before she nodded, "Um, I had plans with George before he left but he'll understand. And um, I'm not starting until Fall so I can take Daddy next week."

Eric turned sharply to look at his twin bewildered, "Luce, you can't just stay here!" Lucy merely shrugged and Eric continued, "It's literally all you've ever wanted! Do you see what you're doing? She was going to spend a month in Australia! She's literally packed to move to Madison with Donna and I! It's Twin Code."

Her parents looked to her wide eyed and quizzically. "You were going to go where?" Red snapped lowly before being interrupted.

"Eric it's fine!" Lucy raised her voice. "I stay here, you have your summer, it'll work out." She paused for a moment before nodding to herself, "That's Twin Code."

"Mom, I gotta get outta here," Eric dropped his arms in exhaustion.

"Oh, Kitty let him go," Red nodded. "Odds are he's not gonna amount to anything, and I don't want him blaming me."

"See?" Eric said in a high pitch voice, "that is exactly the kind of thing that I have to get away from!"

"Fine!" Both Forman women shouted, causing Eric to repeat them and to go back a forth for a moment before Red bent over and clutched his chest. "Oh, my heart I—"

"Dad!" Eric and Lucy yelled, rushing forward, as Kitty supported him.

"I just thought I'd break the tension," their father shot up with a smile, "that's gonna come in handy."

Lucy sat in her booth at The Hub while George was at the counter ordering fries and a shake. He sat down with a wide smile and dipped his french fry in the shake, Lucy doing the same.

Eating, George started, "So, make sure you pack some swim suits—and not the flimsy kind, I'm gonna teach you how to surf—"

"George," Lucy started quietly.

"And you're gonna have to try vegemite—"

"George!" She said slightly louder, snapping him out of his rant. He looked up at her with an eyebrow raised in worry, she took a deep breath before saying, "I can't go with you." He looked down at his platter of fries and nodded. He had expected something like this to happen, especially with her dad going to the hospital. Lucy continued her explanation, "I have to give Eric a chance you know? I can't leave my mom here all on her own. Things are tight and even though everything in me wants to spend my last summer before college with you—I just—I can't."

"I get it," he nodded, reaching under the table to grab her hand. "And hey, come next month, if you want to come, write me. I'll get you a ticket."

Lucy smiled softly, "It's just the summer right? I'll see you in Fall. I'm going to commit this week, once all my financial aide comes in."

"Yeah, I'll send you postcards and we'll go over spring break or something," George nodded casually.

And Lucy couldn't help but smile and blush at the boy, knowing he didn't even realize that he admitted he saw them long term. She snapped out of her daydream of Australia in the spring when the bell for The Hub door rang and Hyde walked in with a girl clad in leather.

Lucy was up in her room, unpacking the cardboard boxes full of her books and trinkets around her room, and placing them back in their rightful space. She sighed as she looked around her now once again full room and opened up her suitcase full of clothing she planned on taking on her trip and opened up her closet door and dumped everything on the closet floor with a frustrated shout before slamming the closet door shut.

There was a soft knock on her door and Eric stepped in, "Hey."

"Hi," she said with a sigh, before pushing herself up and collapsing on the bed beside him. The pair laid identically, on their back with their heads hanging off, the blood rushing to their face slowly.

"I'm staying here Luce," Eric said after a moment.

Lucy shot up, "You idiot! You have to go! It's your life! It's your fiancé!"

Eric sat up and leaned back on his elbows, "Mom's still a mess, even with you helping out. I can't leave you guys here. I can't leave you Luce, not with everything that's happened."

The blonde looked down in her lap, "What are you going to do about college?"

"I don't know," Eric sighed, "But I'm going to talk to Dad about it. Have you committed yet?"

"No, not yet, deadline isn't until Monday," Lucy explained.

"You're putting it off?" Eric pried.

The girl merely shrugged, "I guess. Life is crazy you know? One second I thought I was going to get as far away as possible and then I decide to go to college with all my friends. I thought I'd never love anyone else but now I'm starting to really like an Australian god. And I just—I can't figure out what I want..."

"What do you mean?" Eric asked, his face becoming serious.

Lucy hesitated for a moment, "To go to college or to stay. If I stay, I lose George. But if I go...I lose—"

"Steven," the twin finished.
