Dear Reader,

Thank you for reading. When I started this over a year ago from a song prompt writing contest I was looking just for a creative outlet in the midst of engineering school (and somehow that turned into over 32k words not really sure how) In writing this I've found much solace in taking how I've experienced the world and transferring that hurt, that joy, that laughter into characters and people that only ever halfway existed. You might have noticed that this story became much more about the history and recounting the golden moments in music rather than the fanfiction you thought you signed up for. So thank you for reading. Thank you for making it through to the end.

I write this thank you from a bizarre sense of accomplishment given that this is the first full length story I've ever completed in full that was vaguely coherent enough to share. So thank you again. I hope to be back soon (with perhaps the rest of Lena's story).
