The year is 2548 and the Covenant have wiped out half of humanity. Every human in the galaxy seems to be aware of possibly dying but for a ten year old boy named Ethan Foster, death seems all but certain. After being contacted by an entity known as "Ascent" through one of his premonitions, Ethan, with the help of an ONI agent, uncover secrets burried beneath Meridian. There, Ethan learns of his importance in the universe but once Meridian falls to the Covenant, his dreams stop. It isnt until ten years later, well after Humanity has won the Human-Covenant War that Ethans dream start again and his destiny to save humanity from Cortana is paved for him.
