《Ballet Boy [Ballet With The Bad Boy]》18 Years Old

"So, what do you think of the routine?" The teacher, Miss Lacey, was a weird old woman. She'd just shown me a routine for a competition placement that was coming up and wanted to see if I was interested since I was possibly coming to the dance group here.

It was a different type of dance, but I liked the style of it and hoped I could interpret some of my own moves.

I shrugged my shoulders slightly and nodded "It's cool, I'm interested."

Miss Lacey smiled lightly, unplugging the TV from its socket and going to shake my hand.

"Well then Leo, welcome to the Bluebells." I shook her hand and returned the slight smile "Practice is next week so make sure you're here at 4pm."

We exchanged details and I was now officially registered at the Bluebells dance school.

Miss Lacey seemed like a good teacher, a no bullshit kinda teacher which is what I needed.

The move down here was painful for both myself and my Mum, but we were moved in finally and I was actually surprised at the house my Mum had got.

It was swanky. Well, most of the previous houses we'd lived in were pretty shit so maybe she had been saving up this whole time.

She had also surprised me with a car. Part of the reason was because of her status at her new job, she wouldn't be around as much to drive me around so she decided buying me a car would be a lot easier.

I had gotten my license last year so it was nice to actually put it to use.

Instead of driving home like I told Mum I was going to, I decided to drive about an hour out of town.

See, I thought the name of the town we were moving too was familiar. My Uncle Jack had said he was opening a café around here like 3 years ago and it didn't click until I saw it on the way down here.

I wasn't going there right now, but if I get peckish I might pop in.

My destination however, was for dance purposes.

Again, on the drive down here, I made note of a massive, abandoned industrial estate. It gave me the same sort of vibes as the skate park when I pulled up and was grateful that there wasn't any security or locked gates.

I ended up exploring around for a good couple of hours, discovering a large spot in one of the buildings that was decent-ish for dancing in.

It was around 9pm by the time I had driven back home and my Mum was waiting impatiently until the living room with an angry face.

"And where have you been?" She stood abruptly, her arms crossed over her chest as she glared at me.

"I just went to get some food." I didn't want to explain to her where I'd been because she would just get more mad at me.

Kicking off my shoes, I noted that there weren't as many boxes scattered around in the living room than there was this morning.

"I have dinner in the oven. I wish you could have told me you were going to eat already." She didn't hide the annoyance in her voice as I shrugged at her.

"I'll have it tomorrow for lunch at school."

I made my way to the staircase of the house and I couldn't help but stare at the place my Mum had bought for us.

It was so much more extravagant than the last places we'd been in and I still couldn't wrap my head around it.

My room had its own bloody bathroom in it. I only had a couple of boxes left to unpack from my stuff since I didn't own many things anyway.

I had already put up some posters and art work this morning as I had some time to kill before I had to go out.

All that was left was to pack up my clothes and make my bed then I was done.

"Hey, you're new here right?" A voice from my left snapped me out of my trance of watching the clock tick by in my English class.

Luckily my Mum wasn't my teacher as she was teaching the top set. That and I'm sure the school a policy on teachers having their own children in their classes.

The boy who had been sitting next to me since the class started 20 minutes ago had finally spoken to me.

He had green eyes and pale skin which was made more light with the dark black of his hair.

"Uh yea, first day." I replied quietly as the Teacher began talking about something to do with poems.

"I'm Harvey, if you want a friend or someone to talk to then I'll be around." His small smile seemed very genuine and I was half tempted to take him up on his offer.

I was hoping with this move and change of scenery I might actually be able to make a couple of friends who didn't annoy me.

"Leo Taylor, and I'll let you know." I gave him a nod with my head and fiddled with my pen that had barely been touched since I set it out.

The rest of the lesson seemed to drag on and it wasn't until lunch that I finally sat down and relaxed.

Harvey actually invited me to sit with him at his lunch table which I accepted. I find it easier to gauge on someone's personality by how they act with their friends.

"Leo, this is my best friend Hunter." He introduced me to a tall guy who was sitting next to him. His long, dark hair covered over his eyes so I couldn't see his face properly but he seemed chill by the way he waved at me.

"So where abouts did you move from?" Harvey questioned, picking a bag of crisps out of his bag and messily munching on them.

"From Scotland, it was kind of a shithole." I laughed a little tucking some small strands of my hair behind my ear.

"Ooh, sounds rough." Harvey replied, flicking his phone out his pocket and pressing some buttons "You coming to mine tonight, Hunter?"

"Yea of course." He replied, his fingers picking at a sandwich that didn't look particularly appetising.

"Ok awesome. And Leo, if you want you can come over too. I usually have friends round mine everyday if you ever wanna play games and chill." Harvey offered and I debated for a second.

If I went back with Harvey, then I wouldn't have to deal with my Mum when I got back home.

"Sure, why not." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Great, so that's you, Hunter and Eliana in the car. Full car." He muttered to himself, typing away at his phone.

"Girlfriend?" I questioned. Hunter scoffed and laughed from beside Harvey.

"God no, she's my sister." Harvey shoved Hunter in the arm.

I was hoping that would be the answer, I hated third wheeling couples, even if there was other people there too.

"Well I have to go to the office when school finishes to get my full timetable so I'll meet you at your car?" I offered, I was only going to be a couple of minutes to grab it so there wouldn't be much point in them waiting for me inside.

"Sure thing, it's the blue Mini Cooper parked in the back." Harvey explained and Hunter quickly cut him off.

"It looks like a piece of shit, rusty and bashed up looking. Trust me, you won't miss it." Hunter jeered which made Harvey punch him in the arm.

"You want a lift home or not? Prick." Harvey flicked at Hunter hair, messing up his dark brown locks which only made me chuckle at their bickering.

It showed that they were good friends, and something inside of me was... Jealous?

I'd never had a friendship like that, one that felt like you were brothers and not just friends.

The rest of lunch was moderately entertaining. Harvey and Hunter gave me a little rundown of the school, like which teachers do not piss off and which students not to hang out with.

The end of the day rolled around quickly and soon enough I was on my way out of the office after picking up my brand new lesson timetable.

The bustle of students around me caused me to be delayed slightly as I made my way to the schools car park.

I noticed Harvey's car almost instantly. Hunter was right, it looked like shit. Who the hell has green hubcaps?

Harvey was already there, talking to a girl who I assumed was his sister judging by her long black hair that cascaded down her back.

As I made my way up to them, Harvey caught my eye and I heard him say "Because he's a hell of a lot taller than you and won't fit in the back."

The girl spun around and stared straight at me.

Her bright green eyes were identical to her brothers, as were a few of her features which pushed me to believe that they were possibly twins, judging by her age also.

I also gauged from her dark, baggy clothing and lack of interaction with me that she was pretty shy.

She was pretty, though, definitely a girl who could catch someone's attention if she put herself in that kind of situation.

After a moment, she suddenly spun around, chucking her bag into the back seat of her brothers car.

"Just got to go pee, I'll be back in a sec."

She left as quickly as she had spun around and I waited with Harvey who leant against the side of his car.

"Are you guys twins?"

Harvey laughed a little "Kinda obvious isn't it. We're similar in the looks department, but everything else is the total opposite."

My judgements were correct then. Seeing as though Harvey was very extroverted and friendly, I wasn't surprised that Eliana would be quiet and closed off.
