《Human Race (Boyxboy) #1》Chapter Thirteen: My Love
Advertisement
He was so fragile, I felt like I could hurt him just by touching his soft skin. His spine could be crushed between my fingers, and his small frame would never put up a fight to stop me.
My blood would get him back to health quickly, even if he did not want it. It would get him at his appropriate weight and give a human all the nutrients he was deprived of all this time. I also found out he has a weak immune system, so weak, that if he would have waited a couple more days he would've become very sick. However, my blood would also help him get stronger and overtime it would heal completely that I wouldn't need to worry so much about it.
He has already had two feedings which I fed to him to while he slept and even he if whined I still gave it to him for his health. He will be on the diet for quite some time, until I'm sure he is healthy again. And any human food will disrupt the diet and get him off track.
His small body was shaking as I ran my finger down his back in a slow manner, a predator looking down upon his prey. He shivered at the sensitive skin getting sudden attention, curling into a ball as if it would protect him somehow.
He softly whimpered when I brought my arms around his stomach, and pulled him back against me. Keeping him tight in my embrace. His white fluffy locks smelled of roses, and pomegranates. And no other scent (other than mine) was on him.
I wanted to confirm that I wouldn't hurt him anymore, but I didn't know right now would be the best time. I decided to finally give him what he needed most, rest.
"Sleep now, my love."
His breathing evened out and his body stopped shaking. He was sleeping, comfortably I might add and even if I forced him under it I was glad he found his rest. I kissed his forehead before wrapping a large warm blanket around him. He looked so small in the King size bed, but so beautiful just sleeping like that.
I walked out of the room locking the door behind me as if somehow confirming to myself that he was indeed safe within the walls of my chambers. I could still hear his delicate breathing, and it brought a small smile to my lips. I turned quickly on my heel, my red cloak ruffling behind me like a crimson flag of victory bestowing itself for acquiring a precious creature. I walked down the hallway, my footsteps echoing across the marble, bouncing with echoes on the walls. All the servants stopped and bowed as I passed, not that I payed them any mind. I had to get to my study, I had to call my seamstress, get my main servant, a tutor, doctor, and ask where the hell Sketchs' bear went. I asked Cal to have it washed and repaired and I couldn't wait to see my sweet little angels' face when I gave it back to him.

I reached my study, walking in and going straight toward my desk. I called for Cal, my favorite and main servant. Then I would have Cal call for my tutor, doctor, and seamstress. He entered with his usual clipboard, but this time there was Sketchs' bear, in his left arm.
He bowed before walking over to me and handing me the clean bear. He had his black rimmed glasses on, that I had made for him. He was a cute little thing but he wasn't as beautiful as Sketch. No one was as beautiful as Sketch. But I couldn't let him go, he was just too cute and besides his Dad is my most valuable doctor.
"Yes, Master?" he asked, his voice strong and confident.
That's what I always liked about him, he was always brave and outgoing, and knowing this not many people can do this within my presence. I patted my knee and he smiled, walking over to me and sitting down. His arms wrapped around my neck, moving his little ass on my thigh. I unlocked the back of the metal collar placing it on my desk. Only if this was Sketch, I would love if he was on me.
"I need you to call for your dad, my seamstress, and my tutor." I said but he just smiled, moving his hips against my thigh.
"Aren't you forgetting one thing, Master?" He asked trailing his lips down my neck.
"And what is that?" I asked, as the boy tried to be seductive.
He pulled back, grabbing my hand and bringing it to the back of his neck. My fingers traced over the bar-code that we use to mark every human. We just scan the tattoo and it will come up with all of the humans' information. And if we ever saw a human without the bar-code then we know that he is a human outside of the dome. And I would have to give my little angel the exact same tattoo.
"So I'll add the barcode to the list." he got up and grabbed his clipboard marking all the things he needed. "Should I get a metal collar too?"
"No, my angel doesn't stoop down to a collar, and besides I don't want to scare him." I said not even glancing up.
"I guess not all of us humans stoop down to act like animals." Cal said, his voice full of anger. I looked up raising a brow. He realized what he said and his eyes widened and his eyes shot up to mine. "I'm sorry, Master. I swear I didn-"

"It's okay Cal, don't need to apologize. And also make a blood diet for him." I cut him off and told him that he may go. He grabbed the metal collar and quickly left, without another word.
I stared down at the small bear and frowned. Just the thought of hurting my angel was enough to make me mad. I didn't want to brand him, like I did all the other humans. I know if Sketch ever needed to be identified it would come in handy.
I got up clutching the small bear in my hand and exited my study. He was still sleeping peacefully in the bed, in the exact same position he was in before. He moaned softly, the sweet sound spilling from his pink soft lips. I walked over to him and sat next to him, running my fingers through his soft hair.
It might be weird or possessive that I just checked on him again, but I wanted to make sure he was okay. I know I had guards, and multiple locks on the doors, but I always had to double check. Ever since they started their work it's been a bit harder for me to get stuff down.
I slowly stood up with the bear in my hand, and walked outside once again. Cal would be back with everything and I might as well give my angel a few more hours of sleep. I walked down the hallway and into my library where I loved to spend my time.
The old fashion setting, with dark wood shelves, then golden and blue curtains. It was a relaxed setting where I could sit and enjoy the nice lookout into the world of wonders and just think for a while. The books were old to new, all ranging in different genres. The bottom was one huge room full of books, but the second and third floor swirled into a circle, savoring my favorite books.
I ascended the spiraling stairs and went up to the third floor. The window showed the valley and a little bit of my orchards that I grew. My castle was not inside the dome, it was actually quite far from it. But I had to visit every year to every dome, just to make sure everything is going okay. Cal always comes with me, and I always have a fun time with his sweet little ass to keep me company.
Maybe that's why I always give Cal's family the most money I have ever given anyone. Not even my supervisors get that much. I sighed thinking about my naked servant, underneath me, moaning out 'Master' every time I hit that sweet spot of his.
But thinking about Cal made me want to think of Sketchs' small body underneath me instead. I know that wouldn't be anytime soon, so for now I couldn't wait to show him the world. My orchards, gardens, and maybe one day I would take him inside the dome. Cities still stand today and I would love to show Sketch all the buildings that lay in it.
Like New York, or maybe Chicago, the bigger cities in the U.S. Maybe even take him across the the world, like Asia or Latin America. Even sight seeing the London Bridge or the Eiffel Tower maybe fun. I would give him anything he could ever want, and I have only known him for a few hours.
Maybe one day, I can turn him, make him mine forever so that his life will be eternally happy with me. Then I would have a binding ceremony to link us together in love. I know the vampire bond would be enough, but I would want to call him my lover. I hope to make him my lover, and have him entirely devoted to me, in time of course.
That no one will lay a finger on him, because I'll transfer some of my Ancient Vampire power to him. I'll make sure we are together, make sure nothing comes in between us. I'll make him my queen in all of this.
Because I know one thing for certain, I will fall hard for this boy.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
