Elena was in the front seat of Stefan's car while Audrey sat in the back. Stefan was driving wildly around, scaring both girls. "What are you doing, Stefan?" Elena asked nervously. Stefan ignored her and smirked when her phone began ringing. He answered it for her.
"Hello Damon, she's a little busy right now," Stefan smirked.
"Why the hell do you have Elena's phone?" Damon asked angrily.
"I'm making my next move. Let me ask you something. What will Klaus do if he can't make anymore hybrids?" Stefan asked coyly.
"What?!" Audrey and Elena shouted together.
"Is that Audrey too?! Stefan, leave them out of this," Damon argued. Stefan rolled his eyes and threw Elena's phone out the window.
"What are you doing?! Stefan, let us out of the car! Do you hear me? Let us out!" Elena screamed trying to open the door. Stefan ignored her again. After a while of driving, Audrey finally spoke up.
"So, what's the plan, Stefan? What's the big move you're making?" Audrey taunted.
"I took Klaus's family to make him suffer. I'm not gonna let him make himself a new one," He answered gruffly.
"So, what are you going to do? Are you gonna lock me in some cave and keep me hostage?" Elena asked sarcastically. Stefan snickered and glanced at her.
"Maybe. Maybe, I'll just turn you into a vampire," Stefan stated. Elena looked at him with shock and fear.
"Stop the car, Stefan!" She shouted. "Stop the car, Stefan!" She screamed again. Audrey was shaking and tears started to well in her eyes. Elena glanced back at her sister and frowned. "Audrey has nothing to do with this! Let her out and you can keep me. Just let her go!"
"Klaus likes her or something. So no, she's apart of this too," Stefan snapped, before whipping out his phone. He dialed Klaus's number quickly and smirked when he answered.
"Stefan, how nice to hear your voice," Klaus stated sarcastically.
"Tell your hybrids to get out of town, Klaus," Stefan growled.
"Well that's not going to happen until I get my coffins back," Klaus chuckled.
"Okay, well then I'm gonna drive your blood source and girlfriend off the Wickery Bridge," Stefan said calmly. Audrey instinctively reached out and grabbed her sister's hand in fear.
"I don't believe you Stefan. You won't kill them," Klaus smirked, but his heart was racing. Stefan rolled his eyes and bit into his wrist before force feeding Elena his blood.

"No! No! No! What are you doing?" Elena shouted, practically choking on his blood.
"What's going on?" Klaus asked concerned.
"Well, I just fed Elena my blood. No more hybrids if she's a vampire. As for Audrey, I guess she'll just have to die," Audrey shook her head and began to sob.
"You won't do it!" Klaus was pacing now. Stefan was treading on dangerous water.
"Really? Try me, because your coffins are next to go. Say goodbye to your family, Klaus," Stefan growled loudly. He started to drive faster and faster.
"Stefan, slow down! Stefan! Stefan, stop!" Audrey cried.
"Fine, I'll send them away. You win!" Klaus shouted, his heart drumming hard in his chest at the frightened screams of Audrey.
"Stefan! Stop!" Elena screamed, squeezing her sister's hand. The Wickery Bridge was nearing closer and he was going faster.
"Stop the car, Stefan!" Klaus roared out. Stefan slammed on the brakes and skids to a halt. Klaus hangs up furiously once he hears this. Once the car stops, Elena and Audrey jump out of the it.
"Get back in the car!" Stefan shouts, but the two girls ignored him. He groans and gets out of his car too.
"Stay away from us!" Elena screams, backing away from Stefan. Both girls were shaking like crazy from the fear.
"Elena. Audrey, get back in the car!" Stefan shouts again.
"How could you?! My parents died going over this bridge! I almost died. You knew that! You're the one who saved me!" Elena screamed, tears flying down her cheeks.
"Look, he had to believe that I would do it, all right? Your fear sold it," Stefan explained as if it justified his actions.
"What if he hadn't?" Audrey cried.
"He did," Stefan answered.
"Well, what if he hadn't!?" Audrey screamed this time.
"He did Audrey! He backed down! He has a weakness. If I know his weakness, I can destroy him!" Stefan screams back.
"After everything, that's what mattered? Destroying Klaus?" Elena asked in shock.
"Destroying Klaus is all I have left," Stefan answered, softer this time.
"You had me!" Elena yelled.
"I lost you the minute I left town with him. You just haven't let yourself admit that yet," Stefan sighed.
"Is that what you're doing? Trying to make me hate you?" Elena asked in disbelief.
"I don't really care what you think about me any more, Elena," Stefan lied as he got back into his car. He drove away leaving the two sisters alone. Audrey looked at Elena and sniffled.

"Elena-I'm sorry," Audrey cried. "I know you were just protecting Jeremy and I-," She couldn't even finish her sentence because she was crying so hard. Elena stepped forward and brought her sister into her arms. Audrey sobbed and sobbed until she couldn't anymore. This was the bridge their parents died on. The bridge that Elena almost died on too. It was bringing back terrible memories for both of them. Neither of them knew how long they were hugging and crying for but eventually Audrey pulled away and wiped her stained cheeks. "I think I'm going to call Damon. Tell him to pick us up," Elena nodded and Audrey shakily got out her phone. She walked away from her sister so she could talk on the phone. As her recent calls popped up her finger glided over a name. For some weird reason she found herself pressing the name and holding the phone up to her ear.
"Love, are you alright?" Klaus asked, the moment he answered the phone.
"I..I don't know," Audrey answered truthfully. "I-uh...he tried to kill me," She was still in shock from everything. Just hearing her shaky voice worried Klaus. "He was going to drive off the bridge...,"
"Audrey," Klaus said softly.
"My parents died on this bridge...," She said. "I don't know why I called you," She admitted. "I..I don't know-," Her voice cracked at the end and Klaus knew it was because she was crying. "Am I really a weak spot for you?"
"Love-," Klaus began but Audrey cut him off.
"Stefan has been using me to get to you, but why? Elena, makes sense, but why me? Am I really a weakness for you?" Klaus didn't know how to reply. He was never good at saying how he felt.
"Do you need me to come get you?" Klaus asked, avoiding her question.
"No. I'm going to call Damon," She replied. "Whatever is going on between you and Stefan just fix it please. I know you don't do favors or whatever but please, do this for me," Audrey didn't know why she thought begging would work. "Please, Klaus," He didn't get a chance to respond because she hung up. Klaus looked down at his phone and thought it over. How would he fix all of this without looking weak? After Audrey hung up on Klaus she called Damon and asked him to get her and Elena. He arrived soon after. The ride back to the Gilbert house was silent. Damon walked both girls to the door, but Audrey walked right in while Elena stayed back. As the younger Gilbert walked up to her room and fell onto her bed tiredly she thought about today's events. The last thing that crossed her mind before falling asleep was a certain immortal hybrid.

Movement woke Audrey up and she knew it was Jeremy moving his stuff out of his room. As Audrey stretched and woke up she glanced at her bedside table to see a blue velvet box. Slowly, she reached for it and opened it to see a beautiful gold bracelet with diamonds lining it. A small note fell out of the box as well. When she picked it up to read it she couldn't believe her eyes. "Please forgive me. K.M." It didn't take a genius to figure out that Klaus had wrote the note. Audrey didn't know what to do. Why had he given her such a nice gift? How did he give her this? He wasn't invited into her house. "Audrey?" Elena called out, snapping her attention from the gift. She quickly hid the present under her pillow and walked downstairs. Jeremy was standing in the foyer looking at his sisters sadly.
"Baby brother," Audrey sighed, walking up to hug him. "I'm going to miss you so much," Jeremy chuckled and hugged her back.
"You're gonna have to let me go," Jeremy laughed. Audrey giggled and finally pulled her away from her brother.
"Be safe, okay?" Elena said, smiling sadly at her younger brother.
"Yeah, okay, all right. Alaric's waiting," Jeremy smiled, picking up his backpack. Bonnie suddenly arrived and ran into the room.
"Good, you haven't left yet," She sighed.
"What are you doing here?" Jeremy asked, surprised.
"I came to say goodbye," Bonnie answered before wrapping her arms around him. Jeremy hugged her back but pulled away and walked out the door. Bonnie gave Elena a look before exiting as well. Audrey wrapped an arm around her sister's shoulders comforting.
"She'll get over it," Audrey stated. "Eventually," Elena nodded and leaned her head on her sister's shoulder. Together they watched as Alaric drove their little brother to the airport.
