Park Jihoon, no, Ha Jihoon frowned slightly as he felt the silent pounding of pain in his head. His eyes trailed over the codes, the source code, in his monitor then frowned. He should finish it as soon as possible.
He groaned lightly as he felt the tugging inside his head as if a vein was being pulled out inside his head. His cheeks flushed red as he tried to breathe in and out. Shivers run through his body as he noticed that the world was spinning.
Yedam and Jeongwoo who were also part of the main engineering team of the project saw the oddness of Jihoon's condition and started to worry. Jeongwoo stood up and approached the programmer who seemed to be sick and placed his hand on the other's forehead then frowned, "Hyung, you have a fever. You need to rest"
"No, I'm fine. I just need to finish this quickly" Jihoon slurred in his speech, his confusion and the high body temperature stops him properly functioning.
"No, i'll take over that part hyung. Go and rest. That's an order" Yedam sighed as he watched Jihoon stubbornly refusing to rest. He shifted his gaze and ordered the youngest of the main engineering team, "Make sure he rest properly. Else, we'd be the one receiving the wrath of the devil"
Jeongwoo nodded as he sheepishly smiled, "I will". Jeongwoo tugged Jihoon so that they could go home, he let the sick drape his left arms round his neck and supported the other with his body, his right arms round Jihoon's waist to make sure they dont stumble. They made their way out of the office.
Yedam sighed as he watched the engineers leave the office before he fished his phone from the pockets of his jeans and called someone to report about the sudden situation.
Haruto stood next to Yoonbin confidently, his right hand threateningly resting to pull his sword out. He was assigned to guard Yoonbin as of the moment because of the large project that he has been doing in collaboration with the Takata Clan. Because it involved going against some major powers of the underground society, Yoonbin life has been at risk.
This time, he had to deal with an italian mafioso who stood in his way of claiming the property for them to build their Japanese traditional themeed hotel and resort. As he was dealing with the fat italian wearing too many gold rings on his hand and blowing tobacco in jest, he suddenly received a call from Yedam. An emergency line.

He excused himself to answer the phone. He soon frowned as he received the news, eyes narrowing dangerously and his lips pressed thinly in dissatisfaction. As the call ended, he eyed his adversary and impatiently confirmed, "So, you wont settle?"
"Of course, this is my turf. I don't want you young'uns messing with it" the italian mafioso chuckled confidently as he underestimated the youth in front of him.
Yoonbin stood up irritated and said, "Then, let's leave it at that. Haru deal with this"
Haruto felt the dark aura Yoonbin was exuding and nodded at the order. He immediately launched forward and unsheathed his sword slashing life and severing limbs in his trail. The room became bloody but Yoonbin calmly stood and fixed his suit. In the span of the time to light a ciggarette, Haruto returned to Yoonbin's side calmly as he sheathed back his sword with eyes cold and dangerously bloodthirsty. He expelled a deep breathe and said, "
The italian mafioso shivered ans remembered how the other mafioso scampered in fear against this duo calling them as the japanese devils. Yoonbin blew out smoke as he looked down of the shivering man, eyes ruthlessly squinted against the fearful older man.
"I trust that you know what to do. Don't try of thinking any other games cause I dont have the patience right now to play with it. I'll give you a day or the whole of your family gets it"
Yoonbin let his black suede shoes clacka against the cold marble floor as he made his way out of the office. His steps careful as to not dirty his shoes with the filthy blood flowing from the cadaver of guards. Haruto bowed politely at the mafioso and silently followed his temporary master out of the room.
Yoonbin took the chopper home, he praised Hyunsuk's ingenuity for thinking of putting a landing pad on their village, he briskly walked toward his ride -- a black ferrari parked near the landing pad.
Haruto stared at Yoonbin who was practically running in a haste and jumped inside his car driving furiously to his home, a fifteen minute walk from this current place.
He eyed at the man who was waiting for him, obviously skipping his precious work just to meet him. The samurai let out a smile and motioned for his husband to come closer.

Jeongwoo rushed to Haruto, they had not seen each other for a three months now since the samurai has been with Yoonbin from the start of the project. This time he only have half an hour before he needs to return to the Takata mansion in Japan.
Jeongwoo held Haruto tightly obviously missing the other enormously. "Woo, I might smell bloody"
Jeongwoo shook his head as he inhaled Haruto's natural musky scent, like the calm and soothing scent of the rainforest. "I miss you"
Haruto smiled softly and raised Jeongwoo's head to stare at him with his hands, cupping the other's preciously sculptured face. The samurai grinned lightly and kissed his husband, lips softly dancing with each other. "I still have twenty minutes with you"
Yoonbin rushed towards the main bedroom and found the love of his life panting heavily while tucked under the white quilt. He softly sat on the bed, brows furrowed as he felt the other's temperature with the back of his hand.
Jihoon groaned as his sleep was disturbed by that cool soothing hand on his forehead. His voice broke at the dryness of his throat making his cough. Yoonbin frowned and tried to move to fetch a glass of water.
Jihoon snaked his arms on Yoonbin's waist restricting him from going away. He blinked his eyes open and knew without seeing the face of his husband clearly that the other is sporting a frown with a look of worry in his eyes.
"Why are you sick, Ji? Did you eat on time? Did you have enough sleep?"
"Mmm, I did" Jihoon scooted to feel Yoonbin's warmth. His head still throbbing with pain and hot tears welling in his eyes. He softly purred, "Must be me missing you too much"
Yoonbin froze slightly. They have last seen each other three months ago. The longest that they have been apart ever since they got together. His eyes turned gentle and warm as he stared at his feverish husband.
"And, you told me that it would be me missing you too much on the phone the other day." Yoonbin chuckled as he placed his hands on top of Jihoon's which was clutching his stomach tightly refusing to let go.
"Hmmmph. Hmmmph" Jihoon pouted as he buried his face of Yoonbin's back then bit him out of frustration. Because he was sick, his control in his emotion is weak so he was slightly unstable. Yoonbin winced at the sudden bite, a habit Jihoon formed when he feels frustated because of him. "Marry your business. You don't spare me time. Hmmph. I hate you"
Yoonbin chuckled lightly at the childishness of Jihoon's protest. He pried Jihoon's hands from his stomach and teasingly said, "Should i leave then?"
Jihoon stared at him in shock like a child being banned from eating candy. He sniffled slightly before tears spilled from his precious eyes. Yoonbin lightly smirked as Jihoon shook his head. "NOOOOO~~ Dont leave me."
"God, why is my husband this cute? How do you expect me to restrain myself?" Yoonbin groaned lightly and positioned himself atop of Jihoon and pecked the cheeks of the other lightly. "Love, please stop being so cute soon. Okay?"
"Not okay! I want my Binnie" Jihoon snaked his arms around Yoonbin's neck and whined,"I want my Binnie! Give me my Binnie!"
"Damn it" Yoonbin dropped his head and passionately kisses his sick husband leaving the other gasping for air. Jihoon giggled soon and asked, "No more?"
Yoonbin's reason snapped. How can someone nearing the age of thirty be so insanely cute? This is illegal. He eyed the man beneath him who was staring at him expectantly and a vile idea flashed his mind. "I'm just gonna catch your cold so Mashiho would sort the whole thing out immediately on my behalf"
Yoonbin dropped his head for the second time for another kiss, passionate and longing. The night is still young for the couple. Whatever happened. I leave that to your imagination.
In the meanwhile,
Mashiho was cuddling with Junkyu when he suddenly sneezed. He felt shiver down his spine. Junkyu noticed it and stared at him in worry. "Angel, are you okay? Did you catch a cold?"
"I'm okay, you worrywart. Just a sneeze" Mashiho assured with a bright smile. Junkyu sighed and kissed Mashiho's forehead as goodnight. Mashiho soon frowned as he thought, Yoonbin must have been planning to dump his work to me again.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Adelaide
The entries here are transcribed from the log of Marie Ruiz, first mate of the Adelaide. It was definitely, definitely not published without her permission or knowledge by a certain lovable artificial intelligence for the purpose of sharing it with my AI friends on other ships who follow it like a soap opera. No way, no how. Remember guys, don’t go spreading this around too much. Only pass it on to those you can trust. God forbid this should ever end up on a public network… (Adelaide is a science fiction web serial featuring the adventures of a crew of smugglers. In space. It’s on the softer end of the soft/hard sci-fi spectrum because the author got a C in physics. Updates every other Sunday.)
