way that it hurts. Though, she felt intoxicated by it. Her stomach did a funny flip as adrenaline rush paid her body and soul a visit. Y/N's cheeks turned red as well as her ears.
She tried to hold back a smile, but no matter how hard she forced herself to pull a serious face, her lips did a curve.
"Tewkesbury," she said in a hushed tone as she chuckled slightly.
The next thing she did was swift and was barely even thought of. It was like an instinct to rush and hug him with glee. The boy accepted her embrace in wide open arms as he wrapped his arms around her tightly.
With that, she pulled back. "How did you find me?", she asked. He pulled a dagger out of his pocket and opened the lid at the bottom handle.
"A note was inside." He said and handed her the knife.
"Clever, isn't it? That is one of the knives my mother told me to carry around." The girl said and took the sharp object.
"You have quite the smart mother," he replied and looked at her. "I'm so glad I found you." He finished.
"Why have you?", she asked and looked up to meet his eyes.
"I can't lose you again." The Viscount uttered. Y/N couldn't find the words to reply. She was confused and lost.
"Again? Whatever do you mean?", she asked. He looked down to his fiddling fingers.
"The lace. I found the lace." He said.
"The white lace?", she asked. He nodded and took a deep breath. "I also found the flower pendant. It has our initials. I remember giving it to you." He elaborated.
"It can't be. The boy's name is Dukestorie, not " " Tewkesbury?"
"Indeed!", she exclaimed.
"But you must have forgotten or mispronounced it over the years! Just think about how similar they are." He said.
"But if you are the boy in the flower field, what was the first flower you gave me?", she asked.
"A daisy. For innocence and purity." He answered. Her eyebrows furrowed in shock and belief.

"You are him, aren't you?", she queried. The Viscount chuckled and nodded.
"Why didn't you come back?", she asked again.
"My father. He told me I'm not allowed to anymore for some reason I don't have the knowledge of until now." He answered. Y/N's eyes were glossy.
"I thought I'd never find you again," she breathed out. "And here you are standing right in front of me."
"That knife I also gave you...That was what the most precious thing I owned back then. When you told me you liked knives, I wanted to give it."
"Why?"
"I knew you needed it more than I. Turns out I was right." Tewkesbury said.
"This is bizarre!", Y/N exclaimed. "A lot of things happened in just a matter of minutes. It's hard to take in. Like, how the hell did my father not notice you being in that box?", she asked.
"I filled them with flowers to hide me and put a note on the lid. Your father..." he started, "...he thought the package was from one of the Lord's son. He also mentioned something about a marriage proposal. He's marrying you off, Y/N."
"I know. I loathe him for it." The girl said.
"How come you didn't tell me?", he asked.
"For your information, I didn't know until I was sent back to my father three days ago," she stated.
"Then you should've just left," The Viscount said.
Y/N scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Wow. How come I didn't thought of that," she sarcastically replied. "I'm not an idiot, Tewkesbury. I tried. I got caught. Don't you know how many maids this house has since father returned?", she asked.
The Marquess only looked down. "I'm sorry. I should've planned things faster." He said.
"For the love of croissants, don't blame yourself. You mailed your way to me in a narrow hot box of flowers. No one knows how much struggle you've been through just to reach an annoying girl like me." Y/N said making Tewkesbury glare at her.
"You're not annoying, L/N." He protested. "And if there's one thing you should know, it's that I'd do it all for you." He finished.
Y/N's face softened. "What are you saying?"
Tewkesbury licked his lips and took a deep breath preparing himself. "I "
Suddenly, the door bursted open to reveal Mary with a devilish grin. "Uh-oh", Y/N muttered under her breath.
"Here they are, Mr. L/N," Mary said as he pushed both of the children forward making them trip. Tewkesbury gripped Y/N's hand tight to prevent her from falling flat on the floor.

"Who are you?", The man asked the Viscount. It's surprising how he didn't really recognize the marquess.
"I'm ", he cleared his throat and straightened his new and very best coat, "I'm Pierre, Sir."
"What is your business with my daughter?", Y/N's father asked, making her roll her eyes so hard that it hurt her head.
"He's my friend. The only one I can trust. A good man of bravery and intellect unlike you," she said.
"You dare speak to your father like that, girl?", Y/F/N scowled.
"She has the right to." Tewkesbury bravely uttered.
"My. You're the one who influenced her to become a slacking rebellious monster, aren't you?", The old man asked.
"No, I learned to stand up for myself no matter what it costs in my own account." Y/N spat.
"Useless." Her father uttered.
"Is that what you really think of your own flesh and blood?", Tewkesbury interrogated. The old man cocked an eyebrow and looked at him scrutinizingly.
"Yes. What is she to you?", Y/F/N answered.
"A woman who likes fancy gowns just to hide various kinds of knives underneath, that's her. She's delicate yet so dangerous. Quite a magnificent one that I will forever admire." The Marquess of Basilwether truthfully stated making the girl look at him with shock.
"You admire...an ignorant bitch?"
"This bitch has important things to do out there to change the world in a good way. Now, if you'll excuse us. We'll take our leave." The girl said and sntched the boy next to her, leaving.
Once she was close to the door, two guards held them back. "You're not going anywhere. You are going to stay here!"
"And what? Have this boring old conversation with dear old daddy? Or should I even call you that?", Y/N asked.
The man walked towards her and planted a slap on her face. "You're going to do as your told! You're under my "
He was cut off by the girl kicking him on the area where the sun never shines, sending him to the ground, groaning in pain. Y/N then elbowed the guard holding her on the face and did the same thing, resulting her to be free.
Tewkesbury elbowed the other guard's stomach and punched him in the face. He chuckled in delight, blowing on his fist like a gun.
"That was cheesy."
"That sure did give me pleasure," The boy mumbled in a raspy voice.
"Did it really?", the girl asked.
"Yes." He answered.
"It'll be much more pleasurable if we leave this place. Let's go!", Y/N said grabbing his hand as they sprinted out of there.
Panting and gasping for air that was caused by running away from people was one of the things Tewkesbury missed doing with Y/N. He felt excited and care-free once he was able to do it again.
"Oh my. Is that a horse?!", the girl asked yelling in excitement.
"It is!", The Viscount exclaimed.
"Let's take it! I'm gonna name him/her runaway horse!", Y/N said, laughing and rushing to get there.
Once she was about to go up, she felt the need to take her hoopskirt off. The girl took it off with much struggle and no care in the world.
After she did, she went up to ride the horse. "Have you rode one of these before?", Tewkesbury asked.
"No!", she answered.
"Then what are you going to do?!", he questioned.
"I'm going to ride it!", she said. "But you don't know how!", he replied.
"That's the fun of it!", Y/N shrieked in delight as the boy took his place behind her.
"Now, how do I " "Stop that horse!", she heard her father command.
"The horse ain't even moving!", Y/N yelled.
"Don't you dare move an inch! I command you to stay!"
"Wow, now that order is just stupid. You really think I'd obey?", she asked.
"If you don't, I will disown you! I will never ever dare speak of your name to anyone. I will deny that you are my flesh and blood. You will have no fortune or whatsoever that came from me!", Y/F/N threatened.
"Oh no! I'm so scared! Tewkesbury, maybe we shouldn't leave!", Y/N dramatically recited as she hugged the boy, mocking his father.
"Disown me for all I care! I don't give a single shite about your fortune for I will make my own! Also, please do come up with a better threat next time. I'm running away yet you threaten me for disownment? How idiotic is that, dear father? or should I say, Y/F/N?" The girl said in a devious manner.
"How dare you?! After I raised, feed and trained you? This is how you're going to repay me?"
"Mother did almost all of that. I'm sorry, but I've tried to hold my tongue and follow you. You're not the man I used to call my father. You're not the man who I told myself I would repay with my life. After mother disappeared, it's like you blamed it on me."
"You disgra " "Here's your bloody knife! Use it well! Give it to another!", The girl finished as she threw the knife her father gifted her when she was younger perfectly a feet away from his foot.
"Farewell, 'father'. I promise you, you'll never find another who's better than me." She said and started to make the horse move away along with them.
"To hell with your fortune, by the way!"
