At a battleground, bloodied beyond belief.
The coolest autumn breeze
Though welcome in a warm night,
Will never fail to give you chills
When it's pitch black with no sign of light.
The purest water from the stream
Can still sting on an open wound.
However safe a place can seem
A buried battleground can always be found.
What's toxic for one is healing for another
What's comforting here is depressing elsewhere
Instead of complaining about all those colours
Let's learn to enjoy the rainbow when it's still there.
