Drilling inside your ears

Somehow makes your heart shatter

Filling your eyes up with those tears

It's baffling how the same thing

Can make some people happy and others sad

It's hard to determine what it really does bring

Either way it always breaks your facade

Maybe yours is a cute little shower

Or maybe it's been pouring for days

Both have that indescribable power

To wash away any haunted place

Cause holding back to gather more
