The light at the end of the tunnel.

The star to a traveler who's lost.

All these things are symbols of hope,

Even though they don't really last.

These things when experienced

Are expected to give some hope.

But do we all get to see them?

If we don't, then what is hope?

Every hardship we go through,

Every attack we've faced,

They all lead us to believe

That there will be an end to this maze.

But most of us don't get this.

We never see the light.

It seems that our tunnels,

Are testing our powers to fight.

But what if we have no light

At the end of our tunnel, instead;

All we have is a dead end,

Darker than the demons in our head.

And that's where it all began,

Our head and our stress.

So that's where we have to seek,

The hope to vanquish distress.
