Sorry you had to wait long.....I think it was long...it feels long since I last uploaded :P...but I blame school :/:P so sorry but it's here! :)

CHAPTER 27

“Sorry baby girl....” Arms wrap around my waist hugging me from behind...

I turn around in the arms, already knowing which one of my brothers it is...

Evan’s blue? Eyes look down at me and he frowns “Sorry Lex....bout earlier...”He trails off, wrapping me up in a quick hug....

I smile lightly, resting my head on his shoulder and loosely hugging him back, you know when they apologise they mean it...cus it’s rare when they do...

“It’s okay...”I murmur as I pull away and give him a small smile which he returns looking relieved and hugs me tightly once more kissing the side of my head dramatically...

I make a disgusted face and whip the side of my head from his saliva but a small smile tugging at my lips....

“Good!.....now come on..” Evan grins tugging my hand making me move from where I’m randomly sat on the sand near the rocks.....

I sigh put let him pull me away, leading me down to the others...and by others...I mean Chris, Blake, Seth, Hayden, April and Noah...who I’m still slightly creped out over as I realised he...out of any one cheered me up....

“Hey...someone gunna help me with this or not?” Blake states shooting us annoyed looks as he’s stuck trying to set up the things for a barbeque.....how he’s stuck I don’t know...I thought it was pretty simple seeing as it’s a portable one....

Haha...aww bless him...

Since mom left, with the little ones, including Charles and Daisy going as well...she told us we can stay here basically for as long as we want....so I dunno who it was but I presume Evan’s, he thought that we should have this barbeque or whatever, on the beach, when it gets dark...which it’s starting to already.....

“Can we play a game?” Chris questions rocking back and forth on his feet and smirking slightly...

“What kind of game?” I question sitting down cross legged on the sand in front of Blake as he sets it up....

“I’ve got a few ideas...” He smirks mischievously and I squint my eyes at him hoping it’s not something bad....

“Okay Lexi! You’re go!” Chris chirps.

I internally groan as I shot him a dirty look....

“I hate you right now...” I grumble under my breath to him as I stand up off the sand brushing my shorts off and turning around chewing the inside of my cheek....

I hear Chris along with Evan and some others chuckle behind me as I stare down towards the dark edge of the water.....

He’s really making me do this?.....what a prick...

The sun, surprisingly set way quicker than any of us thought, so Blake had to hurry up with the barbeque...and he did manage to get it lite and cook the food...which is like completely demolished now...only the flicker of the orange flame left, lighting up the area we’re all sat...

I glance up to the dark purple almost velvet sky and sigh out into the cool night air, I should have never agreed to this stupid game.....I mean who plays truth or dare...with really only dares in at our age...oh wait....my brothers do...typical....

“Hurry up Lex! We Don’t have all night!” Chris shouts to me amusement in his voice....

“Alright! Alright...I’m going” I snapback and slowly while frowning walk down across the cold sand towards the dark shore line......god...it actually does look scary in the dark....

“Why do I have to do this?!” I shout over my shoulder, mainly to Chris....

I hear him chuckle the few meters apart we are “Because you lost! Now hurry up!” He responds, clearly amused.

“Asshole...” I mutter to myself glaring at the soft gently waves breaking on the sand and walk further until they are crashing on top of my feet and I cringe slightly as the obvious drop in sea temperature...

“I sooo hate you right Chris..” I mutter as I walk further in, gradually the water level getting up to my knees....and slowly higher...

I cringe and gasp slightly as the cold water meets my warm skin, damn! Why is it so god damn cold!

“YEAH! Further Lexi!” Chris shouts from the shore and I flip him off, even thou I’m not sure he can see through the dark, but who cares....

I move my feet further, the water level rising and soon hits my shorts, that have been in and out of the sea water god knows how many times...so what’s once more gunna do....

“Oh...fuck it..” I mumble shrugging and close my eyes and take a deep breath before ducking right under the waves...

The salty, cold sea water splashes over my head, through my hair and hits my scalp, feeling like it’s giving me a brain freeze when you eat too much ice cream.....and I just managed to get my hair dry...now it’s socked all over again....

I re surface quickly gasping for air and blink my eyes rapidly, only bet my the darkness of the sea, not even seeing the horizon....

I turn around quickly, breathing rather quickly and see the small orange flame on the beach where the others are, and the outlines of the rocks....

“WHOO! Yeah Lex you did it!” Chris cheers from the beach laughing still as do the others....

I shake my head and start dragging my weighed down body through the waves, my teeth unconsciously starting to chatter...and a shiver runs through my body as my top half resurfaces from the water, my top stuck to me from the water, weighing me down.....

As I pull myself out of the water, I feel the coldness form the nights air hitting my already ice cold skin from the sea and I shiver again, feeling my body shaking...

“Haha...you alright Lex”.....Evan looks up as I walk back up the beach...

I try to nod...but it comes as a shaky one and a stutter leaves my lips as they chatter....

Seth jumps up and walk over to me his face soon turning into a frown and he reaches out to touch my arm...

“Shit...”He narrows his eyes “She’s freezing!” He snaps turning to narrow his eyes at the two boys...

I shake my head “I-I’m....fine...”I stutter out cursing myself to let that happen...

Blake is soon at my side and touches my arm as well before cussing just like Seth...

“She is....Chris!...why’d you talk us into it...”Blake glares at him quickly shaking his head before looking back to me......

I move away from him...”I-I’m fine.....” I try to repeat again, but even to me it sounds nothing like I’m fine....

“You’re not Lexi....Seth...take your shirt off....” Blake instructs not even looking to Seth and keeping his eyes on me frowning...

Seth doesn’t argue and pulls of his light blue v-neck shirt straight away...holding it out to me...

I scrunch my eyebrows up “I’m n-not wearing t-that..”I shake my head wrapping my arms around me as I shiver again....

“It’s either that or you wear Evan’s....” Blake says raising his eyebrow...

I frown grabbing Seth’s top...I’d rather wear this thanks.....

I hold it and look to Seth and Blake who are looking at me expectantly...

I give them a pointed look “We’ll I’m not changing in front of you! ......turn around..” I snap managing to get that out before stuttering...

“Oh...yeah..” They suddenly realise and turn around...

I roll my eyes....idiots...

I turn my back on them anyway, knowing no one else is looking, and it’s not like you can see anyway...it’s almost pitch black...

I strip my wet top of and over my head dropping it on the sand shivering as the cold air slaps my wet upper body, I would say bare...but technically I’m not...there’s a thing called underwear you know....

I tug on Seth’s light blue shirt, and surprisingly it’s actually quite baggy on me, and comes to like my mid thigh, nearly covering my shorts.....

I turn back around picking up my now wet and sandy top, just in time as Seth and Blake turn back around...

“Okay....guys I think we should go...” Blake says moving back over to the barbeque and kicks sand over the flame putting it out...

The others agree.....after some protests, but stand up from the sand....and Seth comes to me wrapping his arm over my shoulder, obviously still sensing that I’m cold...even if I don’t like to admit it....

“Sorry Lex...you okay?...”Chris asks frowning worriedly as he walks by my side as we trudge back up the beach...

I nod “Fine...”I murmur resting my head on Seth’s shoulder, suddenly feeling tired......

I feel April’s gaze on me as she’s only a few meters away, but I ignore her not caring and not having the energy to give her a glare....

Reaching the pavement it’s easier to walk on and we head back to the cars....Seth keeping my warm with his body heat......

Reaching the cars felt quicker than I would think, and I don’t really pay attention to what car I’m going in or who’s going in it, so just climb into basically the first on, sighing quietly as the small amount of stored heat meets me....

Even thou I’ve still got wet hair and shorts, I sit into the car seat.....guess I’ll just have to leave a wet print on it...

People climb in after me, two other people and two people into the front, I recognise the driver as I’m pretty sure Chris.....and one of the voices in the car as Seth?.....yeah definitely Seth....

“You alright Lex?” He asks and I smile with half eyes closed as I’m glad it’s him

“Yeah...”I murmur a reply, my eyes feeling heavy....

I hear his slight chuckle as well as another familiar deep chuckle....and then the car starts up and drives away...

Some kind of blanket gets place on me, or maybe it’s a dry beach towel?...I dunno but it’s warm...and cozy.....

I pull it up around my, my eyes closing on their own accord and I don’t do anything to stop it as that’s exactly what I want...

My head drops to the side, resting on whoever’s sat next to me shoulder, and I presume it’s Seth as I heard his voice......

Drifting to sleep, I hear that familiar deep chuckle, vibrating through my body....hmm...weird that wasn’t Seth’s chuckle and I thought I was leaning on him.....

Before I can think it over anymore, my mind pulls me into darkness..and I fall into a much needed sleep.....
