(Devon's POV) (A/N: major time lapse)

It's been about 2 months since we got home from tour. In those 2 months, nothing has happened. We've all been chilling out and taking work off. I moved back in with the band, but I still own my penthouse. We've moved from the city to the beach.

Yes, a beach house. And to say I love it is an understatement. I love waking up and seeing the beach and the horizon, along with the sun. We all have balcony's and our own rooms. Sometimes, Alex and I alternate between rooms. Sometimes, I sleep in her bed with her and she sleeps in mine with me.

Raven and Camila are dating, since Camila came out as bi-sexual and told the whole world. Everyone already knew Raven was lesbian, it was pretty obvious. Leon and Bea are also dating. Leon says he's gay, yet I never seen him date a guy before. Maybe he likes to keep his options open. Kai and Skylar are still together, along with Ryan and Ivy and Emily and Reagan.

Camila, Bea and the rest of 5th Harmony will be over a lot now, since they're dating. Right now, we're all at our house. We do have neighbors, but they're also our age Only about 3 of them, though. We've met them and they're fans of us. Their names are Kurt, who is gay, Marcus, who is straight, and Jessica, who is bi-sexual. They're all sibling's.

I've picked up surfing as a hobby. I was bad at it at first, but now I'm pretty good. We're still on a break, and I've been writing some songs.

I close my notebook, finishing a new song. I stand up and put it in my drawer, locking it with my key. Yes, I have key. That drawer is where I keep everything special or secretive to me. I hide the key under the desk with some tape.

I walk downstairs to see Alex cooking. I smile and wrap my arms around her from behind. She stiffens but relaxes, realizing it's me. I rest my chin on her shoulder, swaying on my heels as she flips a pancake.

"Morning, love." I kiss her shoulder.

"G'morning." She smiles. I let go of her. It's too silent for my taste, so I walk over to the built in radio station. We also have built in speakers. I scroll through artists finding one. I play John Mayer, XO.

Kai, Emily and Reagan also live with us. Reagan got permission from her parents, as did Emily and Kai. Well - Kai is already an adult, so it was only Emily who had to ask their parents. Anyways, they said yes.

"I'd love to meet John Mayer." Alex says as she puts the pancakes on the plate.

"Yeah? Maybe I'll take you." I wink at her, grabbing a pancake.

"Good morning!" Skylar chirps as she comes in with Kai on her back.

"How can you carry her?" Emily asks. "She's so..fat."

Kai gasps as Emily comes in with Reagan. Kai playfully hits Emily. The rest of the family - yes, this is my family now, comes in.

"Your body is wonderland.." I silently sing to myself. John Mayer has always helped me fall asleep at night. Especially when I had night terrors. His songs would always calm me down.

I look out the at the beach while I'm eating. I see a sand soccer tournament going on. A boy gets the ball, as he is dribbling he slips and falls on his ass, making me burst out laughing. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy.

"I saw him fall! Holy crap." I laugh as he gets up. They look out the window, now seeing what I'm looking out. Alex sits next to me, grabbing a pancake.

"What are we doing today?" Ryan asks.

"Beach?"

"Beach."

I'm wearing a black two piece bikini. It's simple. Luckily for me, I don't have to worry about my hair getting in my face, since it's short.

"DEVON HURRY UP!"

I sigh and roll my eyes, grabbing a book, my notebook and my phone. I walk out of the room, jogging downstairs.

"Finally." Leon groans. I roll my eyes as my eyes land on Alex. I bite my lip as I stare at her. She's wearing a very revealing bathing suit that is a solid red.

"You look sexy." I whisper in her ear, causing her to blush as we exit the house. We walk out of the back way, seeing as there is a path leading to the beach. Luckily there isn't a hill, so no steps. Call me lazy but I'm not!

We lay down all of the towels as Ryan and Leon set up the shade. Kai and Skylar set the cooler down as Emily and Reagan set the chairs down. I put the bag of sport things, sunscreen and electronics down. Alex had the food.

As we're setting up, I see the Fifth Harmony ladies and Bea come over to us. They also get set up. After about 10 minuets of setting everything up, we're ready to enjoy the day.

"Can you put sunscreen on me?" Alex asks, handing me the sunscreen. I smile and nod as she lays down. I get on top of her back. I hear Dinah teasing us about this. I roll my eyes, putting the sunscreen on her back.

"Might be cold." I warn her as I put more. I feel her shiver as my hands begin moving around her back. As my hands move to her lower area, she lets out a moan.

"Uh." Alex stumbles over her words, embarrassed. I let out a small laugh and continue to put the sunscreen on her.

After I do her, she does me.

"I'm gonna go rent a board." I announce to the group, who nods. Ryan stands up, coming with me.

As we begin walking, Ryan begins talking.

"I'm planning to propose to Ivy." Ryan suddenly says, making me stop in my tracks.

"Serious?" I ask him.

Ryan nods. A big grin forms on my face.

"Have you got the ring?" I ask him as we start walking again.

"Yeah," He nods. "I'm going to propose when I take her out next. She loves the beach, so it's perfect."

"Good for you man!" I exclaim. "I'm proud of you."

We walk into the shop where a girl about our age is here.

"Hi," I say. "We'd like to rent two boards."

"Okay," She winks at Ryan. "Take a look around."

I leave Ryan to look. I walk down isles of boards until I find one hanging. It's black and has imprints of roses on them. It's simple, but perfect. I grab it and put it over my shoulder. I walk back over to the cashier to see the girl flirting with Ryan, while he shifts on his feet uncomfortably with a board.

"Hey!" I snap. "Stop flirting with him, he's proposing to his girlfriend later."

The girl looks shocked but apologizes and takes our cash as we pay. We walk out, walking back to the area.

"Thank you." Ryan breaths out.

I nod as we reach our area. I smile at Alex, who is reading and tanning.

"I'm going out to the water now." I inform Alex. She puts her book down and pecks me on the lips. I smile before running out. I climb onto the board and paddle out. I patiently wait for a wave. I stand up when I see one. I balance myself as I ride the wave.

As we get close to land, I fall off, crashing. I'm under water as I flip around. As I wash up on land, my board next to me. I start coughing up water as Alex runs to me.

"Holy shit. Are you okay? Oh my god." Alex panics. I start laughing as I sit up, making her look confused.

"Babe," I laugh. "I'm fine. I just wiped out."

Alex lets out a sigh of relief. I stand up, grabbing my board in the process. We walk back to the towels, where they are laughing at me.

"Shush," I say. "You're just jealous of my skills."

As they were about to respond, a life guard comes up to me.

"Are you alright?" She asks me.

"Yes." I laugh. "I'm okay, you guys need to stop worrying."

"Well you're a sexy celebrity, so I had to make sure." She winks at me, making me shift uncomfortably.

"Uhm," I clear my throat. "Thanks? But I have a beautiful girlfriend, so if you could kindly back off."

Alex comes up from behind me, wrapping her arms behind me. Alex gives a fake smile at her, making the lifeguard scoff and storm off.

I smile and turn around in Alex's arms. She smashes her lips to mine, making me drop the surf board. I put my hands on the nape of her neck, bringing her closer. I slowly sit down on the chair, pulling her down with me.

Someone then pours water all over us, making us stop. I look up and glare at Skylar.
