(Devon's POV)
Someone then pours water all over us, making us stop. I look up and glare at Skylar.
Alex climbs off of me, sitting in the chair next to me. I get up, quickly picking Skylar up, throwing her over my shoulder.
"STOP! DEVON!" Skylar wiggles in my grip.
"Should've thought about it before you poured water over my girlfriend and I." I say, walking deeper and deeper in the water. As I'm at waist water, I throw her in with a splash. I start laughing and swimming back to shore as Skylar comes up.
She spits the water out, her hair drenched in salt water. I run back to the towels as she comes back up. Skylar glares at me before wiping her eyes. I sit back down. Leon, Bea, Raven and Camila are in the water, splashing each other. Dinah, Skylar, Kai are playing in the sand. Ally, Normani and Lauren are tanning. Ryan and Ivy are throwing the Frisbee at each other. Alex is reading, while I sit here.
I scoot over next to Alex. I lean on my side, staring at her. The sun is hitting her toned skin, making her skin look sparkly. Not the Twilight kind of sparkly, but you know what I mean, right? Like her skin just looks so perfect under the sunlight. Her hazel eyes also have a twinkle in them as she reads, like the book is interesting. Her hair is let down, falling down her back, shinning.
My elbows are propped up, supporting my hands as my head are in them. Alex glances at me, noticing me staring, she wears a smirk on her face.
"What?" She asks, putting her book down on her lap, now looking at me.
"You're beautiful." I breath out, admiring her.
"You're not too bad yourself, Swift." Alex winks at me.
Alex climbs off of her chair onto me, straddling my waist. She leans in and kisses me, slowly. I'm about to kiss back, but she pulls away with a smirk. I then realize she was teasing me.

"Two can play it that game." I mutter, standing up with her in my embrace.
"What are you doing?" Alex asks a little worried. I smirk as I walk into the water. "DEVON! PLEASE NO!"
She wraps her legs around my waist, as her arms find their way behind my neck. She holds on tightly as I try to drop her.
"Do this the hard way then." I mutter with a sigh. I then bend down, putting both of us underwater. I pull back up, gasping for air.
"YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Alex smacks me on my chest, but then starts giggling. I laugh with her, standing the water with me still holding her. I rest my forehead against hers. She smiles widely at me before bringing her lips to my mine.
I kiss her back with passion. As we're kissing, I start walking back up to shore. I lay her down on the towel, hovering over her. I lick her lips, asking for entrance. She opens her mouth, letting my tongue roam her mouth, but she stops me.
"We're in public."
"Right." I mutter, getting off of her. I roll next to her, looking up at the sky. She lays her head on my chest, I wrap my arm around her shoulder.
As the heat hits us, it makes me tired. I close my eyes, falling into a deep sleep.
~~~
I wake up to something cold on me. I sit up and gasp, drenched in water. I look and see everyone laughing at me, including Alex. I sigh and lay back down, putting my arm over my eyes. I remove my arm and stand up, seeing everyone has already left me alone.
I grab a soccer ball, putting it on the ground. I start kicking it around when it gets stolen. I look up to see Skylar with a small grin. I grin back, running towards her. She tries to get pass me, but I stick my foot out, stealing the ball.
I dribble it and see Ryan looking towards me, waving his hands in the air. I cross it over to him. I look to see Leon running towards him and Skylar guarding me.
"Just like old times." I mutter. Before we were in a band, we'd always play soccer with each other. Ryan and I V.S Leon and Skylar.
Ivy, Alex, Fifth Harmony and Bea all stand to the side, watching us. I run away from Skylar just as Ryan passes it to me. I stop it with my left foot. I then fake Skylar out, making her slide.
"Fucker!" Skylar shouts at me. I laugh and move towards the goal, that is there because there was a sand soccer tournament earlier. I kick the ball, shooting it into the goal. I jump up and down, teasing Skylar and Leon.
"Just like old times!" Ryan high-fives me. I grin and stick my tongue out at Skylar and Leon. I look at Alex, who is talking to some boy. I furrow my eyebrows and stop cheering.
She laughs at something he says. I kick the soccer ball back over to Ryan, who is looking at what I'm looking at it, along with Skylar and Leon. I make my way over there, now standing next to Alex.
"Hi," I introduce myself. "I'm Devon."
"Glenn." He says, checking Alex out.
I sigh in annoyance. I grab Alex's face, planting my lips on hers, roughly. I pull apart to see Glenn glaring at me.
"Fucking dyke." He mumbles, now walking away. I remove my hands from Alex's face, sitting down with my arms crossed.
Alex sits down next to me.
"Babe? You okay?" Alex asks.
"Fine." I mutter, looking at the horizon and the sunset.
Alex sighs before looking at the horizon, then me with a smirk.
"You were jealous." Alex says, amusement in her eyes.
"No I wasn't." I mumble.
"Yes you were." She pokes me cheek. She does it again. And again. And again.
A smile forms its way onto my face.
"Maybe a little." I admit. "But he was looking at you like you were some meat!"
Alex looks down. I open the cooler, grabbing a Cores Light. Hey, I can drink once and a while! I open it, tasting the cold substance.
"I'm sorry." Alex sighs.
"Alex," I say. "It wasn't you, it was him. And plus, you can't help it that you're so fucking beautiful."
Alex blushes at my comment. I take a swig out of my beer, sighing. Alex then grabs her phone, putting it on selfie mode. She takes a picture of herself, then she comes up to me and kisses my cheek. I smile as the pictures goes off. I take one with my phone.
I go onto instagram and Twitter.
@DevonSwift: With the love of my life. @AlexA123 *inset photo* *kissy face emoji, heart emoji.*
I post it, making everyone's phone go off. Alex retweets and favorite it with a small blush on her face. I retweet and favorite hers.
After about an hour of hanging out and drying out, we pack up. The girls and Bea stayed the night, seeing that they're too tired to drive back home.
Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure.This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
