My taste so bitter to the mouth.

Her shape is forever embedded in my heart.

My mind so is broken, only my flower can heal.

Only my flower can heal.

Only my flower can.

Only my flower.

Ambrosia had freshened herself up with a warm bath and had washed her curly hair. After that, she stood in front of her suitcase for a good thirty minutes throwing dresses that were a possibility for her to wear.

Finally, Ambrosia had chosen a dress with the help of Ivy who happened to peek in and ask for her advice on her own outfit.

Ivy was dress beautifully in a black lace one-shoulder dress. Her make-up was on point and matched delicately with the small accents of pearl jewelry on her.

However, Ambroisa stood in a towel, with semi-dried hair, like a hot mess. The two sister laughed at the different dresses Ambrosia had packed.

"Okay, not this!" Ivy giggled waving around a leopard print pencil dress with a back cut out.

Ambrosia looked at it and laughed.

"What, that looks pretty sexy to me!"

"Nope." Ivy threw it to the side and dug through a pile. She gasped and pulled out a teal colored slipdress.

"Now this is-"

"Not my color!" Ambrosia cut her off covering her eyes with a goofy smile.

Ivy groaned and threw it into the reject pile.

"Ambrosia it's 4:17 if we keep this up we won't be on time for the greeting, and you know Aunt Tania," Ivy professed.

Ambrosia nodded and picked up and reddish-orange dress.

"Eh?"

Ivy shook her head and snorted placing a seat on her sister's bed.

"You're out here trying to like an orange in the middle of winter?"

Ambrosia smirked at her and picked up a spaghetti strapped, burgundy dress.

"Ooo, okay try it on," Ivy said slightly intrigued.

Ambrosia slipped the dress on and looked in her mirror.

"That's the dress," Ivy said cheerfully hopping off the bed she admired her sister with glittering eyes. Ambrosia's face lightened at her sister enthusiasm and she hugged her. The two sisters held this moment for it was long needed.

"Thanks so much, I'll do my make up and meet you downstairs," Ambrosia said letting go.

Ivy agreed and left her in her room.

Ambrosia took her time to apply her makeup while listening to Same Drugs by Chance the Rapper.

When she finished she pulled her hair into a slightly messy bun leaving long strands of curls to fall.

Guests slowly started to fill the house at 5:30, and Ivy and Ambrosia stood side-by-side to greet. Larger groups of people started to make there way in and the two sisters exchanged glances.

This seemed a little more than the guests form the funeral. Ambrosia spotted her father who was calmly chatting with one of his friends on the side.

Tania, on the other hand, was practically running around meeting everyone that was in her arms reach.

Ambrosia looked over at a small bar on that back patio and noticed the lonely bartender fiddling with his tie.

I could use a drink.

Ambrosia walked out to patio and smiled tapping the counter to get his attention.

"Can I get a small glass of vodka with a splash of stra-?" Ambrosia's voice caught in her throat.

"Pardon?"

Not surprising, the bartender was Elias.

He looked up and gave a soft smile.

"I meant strawberry liquor..." Ambrosia muttured looking away.

Elias' attitude was rather boyish. Matching perfectly with his black vest and bowtie. He rolled up his white sleeves and raised an eyebrow.

"Tania said I'd be a perfect bartender..."

Ambrosia didn't utter a word while he poured her a glass.

She took the glass and took a sip giving him a final fleeting look before walking back into the house.

Leaving him desperate and uncertain.

"Ambrosia," he called out following behind her.

"Go away," she hissed with some sort of hurt in her tone.

No.

She wasn't hurt, Ambrosia doesn't get hurt by men.

She downed the contents of her glass.

She would never let her feelings get the best of her, she was a girl of tactics.

"Flower please-"

Ambrosia had stalked down a grand hallway leading to door that opened to the back of a garden.

She turned around and shook her head.

"Stop that...all of a sudden you want to talk?"

Elias froze, blushing in what seemed to be irritation and embarrassment.

He and bit his lip in one of the most tempting ways Ambrosia had ever seen.

"So why were you ignoring me?" Ambrosia asked. Her eyes studying carefully.

Elias crossed his arms.

"I've been busy..."

Ambrosia made a face.

"Really....boss lady, doesn't want me bothering you, so she gave a bunch of house work."

Ambrosia couldn't believe his mother was running him around like that.

"If she knew I was with you right now she would kill me." Elias joked.

Ambrosia looked down at her dress going over his reasons of absence in her head.

"Then you should go..."

"But you look so gorgeous, it would be criminal to leave alone," Elias cooed.

He took a step forward causing her eyes to snap up.

They stood by the back wall of the house and he loomed over Ambrosia with both his height and his dark eyes.

"You look nice as well," Ambrosia replied steadily taking a step closer to him.

Nice was an understatement in her case, he looked beyond handsome. The way he ran his hands back to pull his hair out of his face never letting his eyes leave her; it left Ambrosia a little weak.

Ambrosia's vision was a little hazy. She was suprised the alcohol was taking effect already.

Ambrosia's mind and the line between thoughts and reality seemed to blur as their bodies came closer.

They both wanted eachother, it was too clear the way that they teased eachother with only their flashing looks.

Ambrosia felt the need to use something to keep her mind off all her responsibilities.

"Elias," she said in a sing-song voice.

She needed the distraction.

Elias POV

The burgundy was just dark enough to blend cooly with her skin tone but wine-like to compliment her perfect features.

Ambrosia had dragged me to some back passage of the house. She turned to me, her glossy lips parted.

"Elias."

My body tensed at the way she said my voice, at how easily it rolled off her tongue.

Ambrosia's eyes danced with mine in the dim moonlight. My hands found their way around her waist pulling her onto.

The straps on her dress hung dearly too her shoulders and her heart raced against my own.

This was all too much.

She's willingly yours.

No she's intoxicated...

You know you cant resist her.

"We shouldn't do this" I whispered. Although every muscle and thought in my body wanted to feel every inch of her, to explore the goddess that stood draped in red.

Ambrosia sighed and caused my heart to flutter.

"I know what I want, Elias," she said breathlessly.

She cocked her head and I could smell her strawberry breath.

"What do you want, flower?" I asked instantly my other side came out on command for her.

Ambrosia's lips pecked my own avoiding the question and I found myself snagged under her trap.

I kissed her back tenderly letting our lips move in synch.

The cold air wrapped around me and made me pull her closer for warmth.

Her hands slid up my chest and my hands caressed her hips. I kissed down her neck letting her intoxicating smell fill my nose.

My flower was all I could think about.

I trailed my lips up her neck to meet her lips again. This time she provided a small opening and the tip of our tongues touched.

I craved for sweet taste I wanted her to crave me the way I did with her.

Ambrosia ran her hands through my hair and kissed me deeply. I let out a hum as she bit my bottom lip.

God she was so sexy.

Ambrosia held my face in her hands running her thumb down my jawline.

I pinned her back on the wall inching by hands down her curvy body. Ambrosia's skin was hot through the clothing and she shivered watching me needly.

"Don't tease me," she whimpered.

I chuckled because that was exactly what I was going to do to her.

I mumbled against her collarbone.

"I'll ask you again, what do you want Ambrosia?"

Ambrosia gripped my shoulders as I nibbled on her skin leaving little marks. I already knew what she wanted.

"E-Elias...please"

"I need an answer," I smirked sliding my hand under her dress.

Her core was melting at my touch. My brushed my fingers under her and Ambrosia moaned weakly.

I smirked at her pleasurable sound, she was getting dangerously aroused by me.

Ambrosia's chest rose and fell quickly.

Her body was screaming through her dress. But not yet.

"No Elias..."

Was she resisting?

That made me want her even more.

However this was enough for tonight.

I suddenly let go of her and Ambrosia gasped in suprise. She looked at me with pleading eyes.

"N-no wait-I," she began to stutter.

She peered up at me in confusion and I only gave a content smile.

To see that in her eyes gave me a burning satisfaction I had never felt with any other women.

"I have to go back to the bar."

With that I fixed my tie and walked back inside the house.

Ivy passed me with a suspicious look.
