《Mine (LenxMiku/Lenku/MikuxLen)》12

"Please... please don't leave."
I can see her hesitate, but she lightly hugs back.
"Don't have a panic attack. I'm not gonna leave you. I promise." Miku clasped my hands, and looked at me with nostalgia, a look of remorse.
"W-What... what were you gonna tell me back there?" I gulped, knowing she'd probably slap me with any nearby kimchi or something peculiar like that.
Instead, she squinted. Instead, she sighed.
Instead, she held my hand and nodded.
"All right. It was when I was about... six years old..."
"Miku! Miku!" The other children cheered for her as she bounced up and down, chasing Mikuo in a fun game of tag.
"C'mon, youngsters! We need to go! Now!" Their babysitter called the two over and they groaned wearily, plopping down on the soft grass of the field.
"Do we HAVE to..?" They both said in unison, groaning once more.
"Yes! You want to see mommy, don't you?" The babysitter smiled and carried them.
"When I see mommy, I wanna give her a big hug!"
Miku had tears in her eyes at this point.
"If you don't want to continue, I completely understand," I assured her, squeezing her hand tighter.
Little did she know that I was aching to find out.
She took a deep breath in, and continued.
"I'm sure you will!" The babysitter chirped, giving her a noogie with her slightly busy hand as she cradled them both.
'Ring, Ring.'
She put them down.
"Stay here, okay?" The children nodded, and obeyed.
"Hello? Yes- I can-" Her eyes widened, and she started shaking.
"What? Okay. I'm on my way." She hung up and grabbed the children's hands.
Mikuo and Miku exchanged perplexed looks, but they did as followed.

"Hey! Hey miss! Mommy is gonna kiss my boo boo once I see her, right? Right?" Miku pointed at her knee, which had a little bandaid on it.
"I-I'm not sure," The babysitter said uncomfortably as they reached the parking lot.
The car was silver, as it was their parent's car.
Hey... isn't that Mikuo's car?
She opened the door and swiftly placed the children in, buckling them up.
They started driving on the highway.
"Where are we going?"
"To the hospital," She replied cooly, trying to stay calm in such a stressful situation.
"Look, Miku! She's gonna make the boo boo all better by taking us to the hospital!" Mikuo exclaimed, laughing innocently.
"Ahh! So cool!" Miku clapped her hands together, and they both sang a song.
"It was actually a song out mother sang to us," Miku explained, smiling mournfully.
"We're here," The babysitter said, pulling up in front of the building made of glass.
As they all stepped out of the car, holding hands, walking in, the babysitter checked in.
"So fancy! My boo boo is gonna be better any minute now!" Miku exclaimed joyfully.
I smiled unconsciously, just the image of a six year old Miku filling me mind.
"I know! Ugh! You're so lucky, Miku!" Mikuo groaned, stomping his foot on the ground.
She giggled, and smiled.
"C'mon, kiddos." The babysitter strained a smile and held their hands, walking to a room that said '97' at the top.
As she opened the door, their mother was visible in a medical bed, covered in injectors, desperately trying to get blood and oxygen into her body.
"My boo boo is gonna get better, my boo-" Miku stopped in her tracks and stared at her mother.
Her green eyes were starting to water. She didn't know what was going on.

"D-Does mommy have a boo boo too..?"
Mikuo's eyes turned stone cold. He knew what was going on.
He knew that his father was on a 'business trip.'
He knew that he wasn't going to come back to his family.
He knew that he had better things to do...
The thought of his dad not being there for his mom made him want to punch a wall and yell.
"Come here, sweeties," Their mother opened her arms wide, and lovingly.
How could their father have left her like this?
The worst part is that his mother never knew.
Mikuo remembered it clearly.
"Yeah, I'll be there, sweetie~. Are you going to wear that lingerie that I love? Mmm, wonderful."
Mikuo's eyes widened.
"Daddy... what's lingerie? Who are you talking to?" He tensed, as if a ghost was talking to him.
"None of your business."
It all came to him.
Mikuo quickly ran up to her, and her mother held them both dearly.
The babysitter was choking back a few pills, trying to get rid of her tears.
She was a close friend of their mother. Her name was... well, no one knew.
She just went by IA.
'Beep, beep, beeeep..'
You could almost hear death.
"Mom...? Mommy?? Mom! MOM! Please wake up! Please do it! Please..! For me...!"
An awkward silence filled between them.
"Some say it was a car crash," Miku muttered.
"Some say it was murder... but I didn't want to believe that. Who would murder my mother-" Miku was interrupted with another female voice.
"Ugh. Hatsune and Kagamine holding hands. What a horrid sight."
