《More Than You Realize》Chapter 28: Tiny Problems

These people stared at me in shock. I didn't understand what was going on. Who were these guys? Why am I so confused?!
"Uh... this is a major problem," the guy with purple hair said tugging on the collar to his turquoise shirt. I tilted my head, the hood to my chicken onesie falling.
"I'm not even going to question how he has his chicken onesie back. However, WHAT HAPPENED!" the girl of the group said. Why did she only show one eye? Then again, I do have this blindfold over my eyes...
"What are you talking about?" I asked. Something didn't feel right.
"Why is Sabre so... small... AND CUTE AND ADORABLE!" the guy with galaxy hair exclaimed. He flew over to me and picked me up as he flew into the air. He squeezed the living crap out of me.
"Um, sir? Can you please let me go?" I asked politely. The guy stared at me in shock.
"Wait... do you not know who I am, for real?!" the exclaimed before landing on the ground below. I shook me head. His hand ran through his hair.
a scary guy asked. I hid behind the galaxy-haired guy. I saw some tears come from the corners of his pure red eyes.
"L-look... I-I don't m-mean h-h-harm. P-please d-don't hurt m-me," I stuttered.
"Um, Sabre? How old are you?" the purple-haired guy asked as he bent to my level. I felt safer around him.
"Six..." I said quietly. Their mouths dropped open.
"SIX!" they all yelled except for the scary guy. He was still in shock over something.
"Am I suppose to know you guys?" I asked curiously. Tears began to form in everyone's eyes.
"Sabre, I'm your brother, Jake," the purple-haired guy said sadly.
"Why would I have forgotten my own brother? I DON'T REMEMBER YOU! I AM AN ONLY CHILD!" I yelled backing away from the group.
"Oh geez. This will be a long discussion..." Jake mumbled.
Yeah, Jake was right. That was a very long conversation. I could barely understand what most of it meant. Hey, I'm six. Well, at the time I am.
"So... I'm actually SIXTEEN! How am I six then!" I said. My voice cracked a few times, making the others laugh. "THIS ISN'T FUNNY!"
"Sorry, Sabre. We have no clue how you're-OOOOHHHHH!" Alex said before dragging his "oh" out. I raised an eyebrow. "That new guy said we would find out what he did to Sabre. I guess he did this."
"What's the point of that!" I exclaimed angrily.
Void Steve questioned. Something in me clicked.
"My powers..." I mumbled loudly. Every head snapped towards me. "If I'm young, my powers won't be as strong."
"He's right... Sabre, try to do something power wise," Jake demanded hastily. I nodded my head and tried to do some telepathy. I focused on talking to Rainbow Steve. They said I always communicated with him before so...

I tried and tried, but it just seemed like every try was failing more and more. Finally, I just gave up. Maybe these guys were wrong? Do they have the wrong person? I want my mommy...
"Are you sure I'm the person you're looking for? It seems as if you guys are wrong..." I said while backing away slowly. DID THESE GUYS WANNA KIDNAP ME!
"Sabre, you are definitely the right person. What all do you remember? Maybe that will help some," Jake said as he got closer to me. I began to think.
"Well... I remember waking up in a grass field. This weird looking guy was standing over me. Then, we just flew away. I followed him here, then he left with another guy. Then I saw you guys," I recalled. I felt tears drip from my eyes.
"Hey hey hey. It's going to be okay," Rainbow Steve said as he pulled me into a tight hug. I let myself fall into his arms and into a comfortable sleep.
I felt Sabre's body go limp in my arms. I couldn't help but smile as I pulled him away from me some. I stared at the the smaller version of Sabre as he snores softly.
"Well, he's asleep now," I said picking him up bridal style. He was much lighter, and a lot easier to hold. I smiled as his adorableness.
"Awe... he's sooo cute," Mary said clasping her hands together and staring at Sabre in awe.
Void Steve said flying up to me. I couldn't help but laugh at the former villains love for the small Sabre (not in a romantic way).
"Awe, look at Void Steve. He's loving this version of Sabre," I joked. His whole face went red from embarrassment.
Void Steve stuttered as he hid his red face. Everyone laughed, but we didn't for long. No one wanted to wake Sabre up from his sleep.
"Let's head back to the house. Maybe we can find something to help us regain our teenage friend," Galaxy Steve said as he poked Sabre's cheek lightly. Sabre winced a little bit and readjusted himself in my arms. I glared at him, his yellow eyes shrinking in fear.
"Don't bother him. He may be six, but he's still a kid. Kids don't like to be woken up," I scolded quietly. He closed his eyes and rubbed his neck sheepishly.
"Sorry," he whispered.
We all made our way back to the house. We had to switch between who carried Sabre. It just began to get painful after a while.
"Are we almost back?" Alex complained. I looked back to him, seeing him begin to struggle with Sabre in his arms. I nodded my head.
"Yep. Shouldn't be too much longer," I assured him. He sighed some.
After a few more minutes of Alex's complaining, we made it back to the house. I smiled and let out my own sigh of relief.
"Oh thank goodness," Alex said before "running" off to Sabre's room. I assumed he placed the six year old on his bed. He came back out stretching his arms and rolling his shoulders.

"You good?" Mary asked with a laugh. Alex glared at her.
"Just fine," he grumbled as he sat down on the small couch placed in the living room. He looked around with a smile. "You all did good with the house."
Void Steve said while he crossed his arms. I couldn't help but laugh. He raised a questioning eyebrow.
"Modesty does not suit you that well," Galaxy Steve said with a laugh. He growled at him. Then, Void Steve smirked.
Void Steve said with a smirk. A blush formed on Galaxy Steve's face.
"Dang it... I can't insult you on anything anymore..." Galaxy Steve grumbled. We all began to laugh, except for Galaxy Steve. In fact, he glared at all of us. "IT'S NOT FUNNY!"
"Actually, it really is," Rainbow Steve laughed as he placed a hand on Galaxy Steve's shoulder. Galaxy Steve looked hurt by that statement.
"Rainbow Steve! How dare you betray me like this! You owe me a sandwich," he said moving away from the rainbow-haired Steve.
"I OWE YOU NOTHING!" he yelled back in protest, only to get shushed by all of us.
"Be quiet! Sabre is still asleep!" Alex whisper yelled. Rainbow Steve clasped his hands over his mouth to keep him quiet. Galaxy Steve laughed silently at him.
Suddenly, we heard a loud cry come from Sabre's room. Instantly, we all ran into his room. I think I could speak for everyone when I felt my heart drop.
"HELP ME!" Sabre yelled. He let out a whimper, which only made Ty laugh at the child. I glared at him.
"Ty! Let Sabre go, NOW!" I yelled. Ty smirked and didn't seem fazed by my actions.
"Don't worry, Rainbow Steve. I won't hurt Sabre too much. He's in good hands," Ty said with a smirk. I growled, then Alex launched some water at him. He didn't have time to react. He was drowned in the water.
He dropped Sabre to the ground out of shock. Sabre didn't waste any time to run over to us. He hugged my leg tightly.
"H-he came in... and w-woke me u-up. He g-grabbed me... then I yelled," he sobbed. I bent down some and lifted the small child up. I brought him over to my side, and he, somewhat, wrapped his legs around my waist. He dug his head into my shirt.
"There there. Everything will be okay, now," I said softly. I felt him relax against me.
Void Steve growled as he charged some energy in his hand. Ty shook like a dog to get the water off of him.
"You'll pay for that!" he exclaimed, ignoring Void Steve. Jake stood in front of all of us.
"You should listen to Void Steve and leave. Sabre isn't able to fight like normal, but we still can. It would be better if you would leave us alone," he said before charging some corrupted magic between his hands. Ty let out a laughter that rang through the building.
"Don't think you can beat me! I'm way more powerful than you will ever be!" Ty yelled throwing a sword at Jake from out of no where. Jake flinched, but was able to dodge just in time. The sword pierced into the wall. We all stared in shock and some fear.
Sabre began to sob quietly against me. I took my free hand and rubbed his back. I felt his tears soak my shoulder, but I was alright with it.
"Okay, that's too far," Jake said before launching his attack at Ty. He stood there with a smirk on his face, like he knew something.
The attack hit him square in the chest. However, it seemed as if he absorbed the attack. A dark aura flashed around Tyler's body, but disappeared almost instantly. His smirk grew.
"I see your little attack failed?" Ty questioned sarcastically. Jake backed away, fear overtaking his expressions.
"Wh-what?" Jake mumbled. "Impossible! How did you do that!"
"Because, I'm stronger than ever, Jake. You will never defeat me," Ty replied. Jake shook his head, then pounded his fist into the ground. Suddenly, iron bars appeared around Ty.
"Run! That won't hold long!" Jake yelled as he ran out of the room. We all followed him out.
We all ran away from the house, making sure not to part too far from the group. Sabre gripped my shirt tightly. He almost ripped it off.
"Awe... don't run, little friends," the new villain from before said as he lands in front of us. We all stopped in our tracks, and tried another way. However, Ty stood there, tall and proud.
Our group huddled together, me in the middle with Sabre. Sabre whimpered some more.
"Y-you won't let them t-take me... will you?" Sabre asked as he looked up to me. I smiled at him, staring at him through his bandana.
"Of course not, Sabre. I will do everything I can to protect you," I said bopping his noise. He giggled cutely.
"Can you two cut it out already? We are facing some serious foes right now," Alex said as he knocked the new guy off of his staff. I didn't even realize the fight already started.
"This is bad... there's no way we can win this the way they are now," I mumbled. Sabre put his hand on my cheek. I looked down to him. His little smile brought my hopes up. Suddenly, he let out a loud giggle.
Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the six year old. Then, we were all, except Ty and the evil male, teleported away.

Five years ago, Owen became a Court Wizard in search of his father who was lost to the unknown three years prior. But that wasn't the beginning of the story. Maybe it began twenty-three years ago when Ronald Bell and Joshua Ruze saved the Illyer family. Or perhaps, it all started twenty-nine years ago, when Ronald, the son of the wealthiest merchant, became a Court Wizard. Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Read Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia first. This story is split into two 'Collections,' Ronald's Collection and Owen's Collection, each centering around those Court Wizards. Crossposted with WordPress site, Wattpad, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.
