Silver's POV
Wait. Did he just say what I think he said?
That he was trying to make me his?
"What do you mean exactly?" I asked for confirmation so I didn't eventually make a fool of myself.
"I mean," he said, stepping toward me as he grabbed my chin and brought my gaze to his. "I want you to be mine. Only mine. Mine to hold and cherish. Mine to touch. I want you to be my girlfriend."
"Why me?" I demanded knowing well how many girls he could easily get with just a simple snap of his fingers.
"Because I've never met someone like you. And I know we have only known each other for a few weeks, we'll tell officially at least, but I have never felt what I feel with you before. Not any other girl or woman I have been with. Every time I look at you I see not only a beautiful woman but someone I see a future with." He breathed out in one gasp of air. It was so cute honestly. He was even blushing a little bit.
"Well in that case, I might as well tell you that I like you too." I admitted as I f glanced down silently tapping my foot side to side.
"Do you mean that?" Ethan demanded wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Yes." I mumble looking into his gorgeous azure eyes.
His face practically lit up when he heard that I said yes. In his excitement he hugged me against his chest and twirled me around as he laughed in joy. Giggling, I hug him back. As he gently set me back onto the ground he brought his lips down to press against mine in a sweet but innocent kiss.

"Mommy!" Aiddan exclaimed in a voice filled with disgust. "That's lucky!"
Laughing I pick him up and press a kiss against his cheek. He scrunches his face up and wipes it off as he glares at me. Ethan's grins from above his head as he wraps his arm around us both.
"No!" Aiddan grunts as he pushes his arm away. "This is my mommy not yours!"
"But I'm your Daddy. Can't you share Mommy with me?" Ethan pouts, sticking his lips out.
Aiddan crosses his arms as he starts to think over his words. Glaring in suspicion he nods slowly at Ethan's. "Fine. But she's still mine."
"As long as I have you both I'm fine with that little man."
Ethan's POV
After Aiddan agreed to share Silver with me he asked to watch a movie. As he watched a cartoon that Silver put in he fell asleep not even halfway. Slowly I grab her hand and lead her into the kitchen. Pressing her against the counter I rest my forehead against hers.
"So I didn't get to ask earlier but would you go out with me?" I asked nervously. I honestly don't know what I'd do if she said no. "As in be my girlfriend?"
Silver frowned in concentration as she looked as if she was contemplating an important question. Well I guess technically she was.
"Yes." She smiled up at me in mischief.
"Oh. I understand." I said as I let her go. Wait. Did she say yes?
"I did say yes Ethan." She laughed quietly, shaking her head in amusement.
I said that out loud? Damn. I thought I was only thinking about it. Oh well.
But She said yes?
Looking into her eyes with joy I try to contain myself and not pump my fist into the air as teenage boys are taught to do when they win something important to them but to be completely honest it was harder than it sounds.

I can't believe she said yes.
"Thank god." I let out the breath I hadn't noticed I was holding. "I'm so glad you said yes."
"I am too." She smiled up at me before she slowly let it slip. "But please don't make me regret this. For me or my child."
"Our child." I corrected her by lifting her chin so her eyes were level with my gaze. "And I promise you won't regret this. Ever. I'll do everything in my power to make sure you and Aiddan are happy."
"Thank you Ethan. For everything."
