Silver's POV

Shit.

I know this house.

Ethan pulled up into a driveway that led to an expensive looking mansion. But the thing about it was it's the same house that I had the one night stand at. The one where I ended up pregnant with Aiddan. He couldn't be Aiddan's real father? Could he?

I mean the likelihood of that is low. Right?

"Do you like it?" Ethan asked as he opened my door, jerking me out of my thoughts in the process.

"Um. Yeah. It's very..." I started as I looked around before getting out. "Beautiful."

"I'm glad you like it." he smiled in relief as he picked Aiddan up out of his car seat.

"Uh. How long have you lived here?" I questioned trying to sound nonchalant.

"About four, maybe five years." He stated looking up at me in surprise. "But my family has been living in it for close to forty years now. Why?"

"Just wondering how old it was." I dismissed it as I dragged a hand through my hair.

Oh God. It had to be him. I mean Aiddan is almost three and if Ethan was living here for even four years it had to be true. Shit. That explains why Aiddan and he have the exact same eyes. But then again since he is still a baby you can find a feature that looks like almost anyone. Even if it is subtle. But this can't just be a coincidence. Could it?

Do I want it to be?

Maybe Ethan would make a good dad for Aiddan. He's stuck around so far. And I know it hasn't been very long but he did stay even when Aiddan was diagnosed with Cancer. That was more than any guy has so far.

I should probably tell him.

Maybe I should wait until Aiddan is better.

Or maybe I should wait until I'm sure. Like take one of those home DNA tests.

Yeah. I'll do that.

"Silver?" I heard Ethan call out as I was lost in thought.

"Yeah?" I answered looking up.

Ethan and Aiddan were already by the door of his house waiting for me. Shaking off my thoughts I ran to catch up with them. Laughing I saw that Aiddan was pouting at Ethan because he wouldn't let him sleep.

"I wanna sleep." Aiddan demanded glaring at Ethan as he crossed his arms.

"But you still have to see the house, honey." I grinned, helping Ethan out as he looked at me for help. "Don't you want to pick out a room?"

"Yay!" Aiddan exclaimed at the idea of picking his own room. "Let me down!"

Ethan put Aiddan down as he unlocked and opened the door to the house. Immediately after the door was open enough for Aiddan he zipped through as ran around in excitement. Watching Ethan laugh I ran after him and picked him up.

"Bah" I chuckled as Aiddan squealed in surprise. Putting him back down he runs over to Ethan and tugs on his pant leg.

"Let's go!" he demanded, trying to pull him away from me.

"I think I know the perfect room for you." Ethan stated as he grabbed Aiddan's hand and showed him up a flight of stairs.

Following them I watch as he takes a left turn into a room. It was of medium size and it was adorable. It had light blue walls along with curtains to match. There was a slight rise in the floor in one of the corners and above it was a loft area. There was a small flight of stairs that led up to the loft and it was colored in a darker shade of blue. There was a bed on the rise below the loft and it had a black, blue, and red color combo blanket set. On the bed were a few stuffed animals that sat in the corner. Around the room were a few empty shelves and containers for Aiddan's other stuff I'm assuming.

It was honestly a really cute room. I could see Aiddan sleeping in here, or playing with his toys.

"This is my room?" Aiddan asked, sounding shocked as he stopped in the doorway and looked around.

"Yeah, little man. If you want it to be. But if not I can always take the stuff out and put it into another one. Anyone you want." Ethan softly replied as he looked down at him tenderly.

Aiddan didn't reply; he just walked up to Ethan's leg and hugged him. "Thank you Daddy."

"You're welcome." He sniffled as he hurriedly wiped away tears. "Now go play. There are a few toys in the loft for you."

Squealing with joy, Aiddan ran and did as he was told.

Laughing I watched as Aiddan played. Maybe I shouldn't wait for a DNA test. Maybe I should just tell him.
