Silver's POV
Waking up with a groan I became aware of two things. One was that I had a pounding headache that resounded through my brain. And two was that I was in a room that was foreign to me.
Looking around I noticed that not only is the room not mine or my fiancé but there was also a male body laying next to me.
Wait. Fiance? Sorry meant to say ex fiancé. I thought to myself bitterly.
Anyway, back to the point. The man wasn't bad looking. He looked to be Italian because of his gorgeous jet black hair and facial structure, mainly his nose. I didn't know what his eyes looked like since he was still asleep but I could tell that he must not laugh much in life because even though he looked about my age you could see the toll that his life had taken on him. Although he was well built it was in a way that only male models could manage to look. I could tell he was tall by the way his body was curved in the bed.
He was still asleep so gently I climbed out of the bed and tiptoed to where my clothes were scattered around by the foot of the bed. Silently I quickly pulled them on looking up every once in a while to make sure the man was still asleep. As soon as I was done I grabbed my heels and went out the door. As stealthily as possible I searched for the door and after finding it I made my way to the street. Looking around to see where I was I started in surprise.
Whoever the man I had slept with must have been someone very important and wealthy. Because as I took in my surroundings I found that I was in the upper side of New York. Where all the businessmen lived. His house was huge. I'm talking ginormous. It was the biggest one in the neighborhood by far. No wonder it took me a while to find the front door.

Pulling out my phone I dial my brother's phone number.
"Hello Mia cara sorellina (My dear little sister). What's up?" Ashton asked while laughing as I growled slightly into the phone speaker.
"I need you to pick me up per favore (please)." I replied ignoring the fact he called me his little sister even though we were twins.
"Why? What happened? Where are you?" he started panicking and in the background I could hear him tripping over stuff that I couldn't quite identify. With him who knows.
"Umm." I say looking around and walking down the street. Looking across the street I see a comfy looking cafe and heading towards it.
"I'm at a cafe in upper New York called Mama's Cafe." I replied as I heard Ash turn on his car. "As to why I am here I will explain that when you get here."
"Silver," he warned, knowing I wasn't planning on explaining anything to him. "You better tell me."
"Fine." I relented, rolling my eyes.
I may be stubborn but Ash was my twin. He was just as strong headed. And him being the protective brother he is, I knew he would pester me until I finally told him what had happened. That means I'm going to have to tell him that Mark had canceled the wedding. And that we were no longer together. I would unfortunately also have to tell him that I had a one night stand. But the latter wouldn't mind as much as the bit about Mark.
Ending the call I think about how much my family would be disappointed. The only person to ever stand by me in my more rebellious moments had been Ash. My mother was all about money and status as were all the women in my family. My father has been dead for the last three years but he only cared that I was happy. Unfortunately my mother also loved Mark since he was a successful businessman. Actually he wasn't really the successful one. I did everything after his uncle passed the business over to him. But my mother would never accept that as fact.

Lost in thought I barely noticed anything around me as I stood by the cafe. That was until Ash honked the horn of his car and jerked me out of my thoughts.
Getting in the car I laugh as we take off. Finally a little bit free.
