The trio stole into the house and rushed downstairs, as quietly as possible. There weren't anyone in the house other than a bunch of dark wizards and witches, but thankfully they managed to dodge them.
How did they manage to do this? Easy, they disguised themselves. They wore serpent green cloaks, their hair dyed a shade of maroon and Tina, who happened to transfigure a piece of stick into a pair of spectacles.
"Who are you, may I ask?" A tall man, with red hair approached them.
"Vinda sent us" Theseus retorted, "She wants us to fetch something from the basement".
"Alright" the redheaded man shrugged, not complaining. Maybe they were too tired to notice or maybe they had given up. Or maybe their minds were at something else.
Slowly, they walked downstairs, again to find themselves face to face with a large wooden door and a portrait of a knight.
"Password?" he almost whispered.
"There's a password?" Tina hissed.
"Password?" the knight repeated.
They debated for a bit while to decide what the password could be.
"Try Grindelwald" Theseus prompted Newt.
The younger Scamander brother took a step forward and muttered the Dark Wizard's name.
"Wrong password" the knight said, slowly pulling out his sword as if he was going to attack them.
"Rosier?"
"Wrong password".
"Deathly Hallows?"
"Wrong password".
"Dumbledore?"
"Wrong password".
After multiple tries, the knight had quite given up. He got up from his usual sitting position and pointed his sword at them.
"You shall not enter" he growled.
"Please, uh, Grindelwald sent us!" Tina tried talking to the portrait.
"It wouldn't work, Tina" Newt placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, "They cannot entertain personal requests".
"Tina?" a voice behind them echoed through the dark.
"Oh Merlin's Beard, no" Theseus pulled out his wand. Newt did the same. Both the Scamander brothers stood before Tina, their wands aimed to attack.

"Tina?" the voice repeated. A kind and gentle voice.
"Who are you?" Tina felt a bit brave. It wasn't Grindelwald or Rosier. It was someone else.
"Funny you should ask that, my beloved sister" the woman came to view. She was wearing the same fluffy pink dress, the same one the night when they went looking for Dougal the Demiguise.
"Queenie" Tina spat.
"Tina" Queenie walked down the stairs, "Newt. Theseus".
"Get away from her!" Newt cried, desperately, "You filthy. . "
"Newt. . stop" Queenie said, softly, enough to send shivers down his spine, "I'm not here to hurt anyone".
"Tell that after you sent a werewolf against us!" Theseus said, "If you want to get to Tina, you'll have to fight us".
"It wasn't a choice, Theseus" Queenie said, worriedly, "There's been bigger things going on. I can't afford to lose. . . "
"What do you mean?" Tina asked.
"They've been threatening me. They said if I didn't follow their plan, I would be in grave danger" Queenie said, "I didn't have a choice".
"So you value your life more than your friends' and family's?" Tina sounded hurt. Newt slowly lowered his wand and grabbed Tina's hand and gave it a squeeze.
Queenie didn't give a reply. She stared blankly at them.
Suddenly a loud male voice drawled, "Queenie!"
"Oh, uh, what?" Queenie gained herself quickly.
"Who are these people?" another man came into view. He was very similar to Abernathy, but his hair stood out most of all.
"They're Grindelwald's people, Magnus" Queenie said, sweetly, "I was just telling them the plan".
"Oh, good" Magnus heaved a sigh, "For a second, I thought you were talking to the fool of a sister you have".
"I bet she's dead by now" Queenie snarled, "I really don't care about her".

"Good. Within a few days, you'll be promoted" Magnus winked at her, "I'll tell Vinda".
"Sure, sweetie!" Queenie smiled, pretending to get on her leader's good side.
"Come along. We have new intel on Scamander" Magnus said.
"I'll be right there" Queenie said, "Once the time is right, we wouldn't have to put up with this balderdash".
Magnus looked curiously at her before motioning her to follow him. Queenie did the same, nodding her head in her friends' direction.
"Balderdash" Theseus breathed, "That's it!"
"What's it?"
"Remember when Queenie emphasized her last sentence?" Theseus said.
"I never noticed it" Tina said. Newt nodded too.
"Now hold on. I think I've gotten it" Theseus slowly approached the angry knight and whispered, "Balderdash".
The knight threw his arms in the air, sighing deeply and opened the door.
"Yes!" Newt grinned, giving his brother a well deserved pat.
"I'm an Auror, Newt" Theseus shrugged smugly.
"Alright, break it up, you two. Let's find the fang and get out of here".
Soon the trio started to flee from the area. Time was ticking.
Newt caught a glimpse of three red sparks soaring up into the sky. But he ignored them.
The door burst open as the three of them froze. Vinda entered, followed by Abernathy and Britany, dragging Jacob by the collar. Looks like the baker had been caught.
"All right" Vinda smiled, cheekily, "Where are your friends?"
It also seemed like Jacob was under the influence of the Veritaserum that he pointed in a direction, directly towards the three of them.
Vinda pulled out her wand and reversed the Transfiguration.
"Clever. Very clever. Unfortunately, not clever enough" Vinda snarled at them.
Tina had the basilisk fang under her coat, in a small paper package and she gulped with fright. Quickly she pulled out a scrap piece of parchment in her pocket and using her wand as a quill, hastily wrote a note. She wrapped it up and tucked it with the fang.
"Grindelwald will be so proud" Vinda clapped her hands, "Guards? Keep them in the cell".
Tina quickly made a run for it, hoping her quick plan would work. The guards managed to capture her within no time. Tina threw the paper package out, with the note inside, casually.
"Come along. Enough shenanigans" Britany said.
Queenie looked sadly at her friends as they were taken to custody. The doors were locked once more by her.
A few moments later, Dumbledore who was pretty shaken by the situation, saw the package fly out. He rushed to the front and grabbed the same and ran, as fast as his legs could carry him.
Once he was in a secluded place, he opened the package. It contained a thin white basilisk fang. Very small and proportional, but very powerful.
Then the note fell out. He picked it up and read it.
Caught. Go. Destroy. Be brave.

Breakers
My name is Joo In-gong. The name that my parents gave me meant ‘protagonist’ of the world. As anyone can predict, I was constantly teased due to my name. In kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. If I went to university as planned then I would probably be laughed at there as well. So, at one point, I really hated my name. But not anymore. Now, I think slightly differently. Maybe being named Joo In-gong was a type of foreshadowing?

The second time around when that one guy pushed him off a cliff for a chalice of immortal ambrosia, wasn't so cool though, and then there was that third time when he was just getting used to life as a lady, and that crazy goddess showed up out of nowhere and started ranting about purging the demon menace....then some other stuff happened and he briefly got to go back to earth before falling into a coma where he adventured in the world of dreams. Then the aliens came, and the dream ended and he was suddenly stuck being the AI Overmind for the whole damn star systm. Soul of the Warrior
In a world where Classes, Stats, and Levels are the everyday norm, Reivyn has a secret. He was unusually aware of his surroundings from an incredibly early age, and Skills and Stats were acquired easily. He was just the son of an ordinary village family, and nothing appeared out of the ordinary on the surface. But below the surface, dreams of another life help shape his mentality and growth. Why does he have some remembrance of a past life, and what is his purpose in this new one? "Soul of the Warrior" is what I call a Semi-Isekai LitRPG. I say "semi," because Reivyn's past life is remembered like a dream, and very incomplete. It is still Isekai, though, as he remembers enough that it directly shapes his personality and his sense of self. The System that governs the world of "Soul of the Warrior" is a combination of modified versions from Selkie's "Beneath the Dragoneye Moons" and Kosnik4's "Magic Smithing." I have changed enough of these Systems and combined them in a way that is unique that I'm mostly sure it's fine, but I still have requested permission to use these ideas. They have both graciously granted me permission. Winner of the April Writathon Challenge. Release Schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri on Royal Road.
