Janus has always hated lies.

They used to be the complete opposite of him since the day he was made up until he became a dark side, of course it made sense of him to hate them.

So, naturally, from hating lies, came hating liars.

So when Janus became a dark side.....

He hated what he represented.

He hated lying.

He hated it.

He cried over it multiple times. Virgil finding him once or twice and calming him down as he refused to explain what it was all about.

But Virgil knew.

Janus knew he knew as well.

But later during that video.....

When Virgil said that.

"So, he didn't want to play by the rules of your game. Big deal! This whole thing is probably rigged anyway. It was set up by a !"

He almost started crying right then and there.

Virgil had realized the mistake and when he went to correct himself Janus had pulled himself together and played the persona he had made for himself as he responded.

"It takes a liar to know a liar."

And the conversation continued.

He was called a liar twice more during the video.

One from Virgil again, and the other by Logan, who probably made the assumption he wouldn't hear him.

He did.

Janus spent the rest of the night crying in his room.

When Virgil came around to apologize he yelled at him to leave.

Virgil decided that was fair.

Janus continued to cry after Virgil left.

He was being stupid. Of course he was. They were right, of course. He was a liar.

He just wished he weren't.
