"Yes please." She hummed as a pink blush dusted her cheeks. God she's cute. I gut up and towered over her for a second letting her eyes trace up my body before locking with mine, I loved the way I felt when her eyes were on me. The blush deepened when she noticed I was watching her. I placed my hand out for her and she grabbed it and we made out way to the stairs.

"Want waffles?" I asked and I almost felt the excitement radiating off of her before she cheered

"Waffles!" While punching the air with her free hand

Paul POV

We make it down the stairs and into the kitchen. Y/n and I part ways, her going to sit at the barstools by the kitchen counter and I go to pull the waffle maker and place it on the counter while going to retrieve the pancake mix.

"So..." I said while turning back to the beauty that sat at the counter. She looked at me with those big eyes I adored.

"I never asked, why were you in the woods last night?" I asked and the color drained from her face a bit and I instantly regretted bringing it up.

"Oh, well last night while I was getting ready for bed I thought I saw something outside my window, and went to explore." She said while fiddling with the rip in the sleeve of my jacket she was wearing.

"Saw what?" I asked concerned.

"Big gold eyes, dumb right?" She said with a small scoff of a chuckle. Gold eyes? That's why she was out there? Because of me? Guilt instantly hit me like a truck. If I had just stayed away last night she never would have gotten hurt like this.

"Anyways! What kind of waffles are we making?" She asked changing the subject..

Y/n POV

"Blueberry work for you?" Paul answered the crease between his furrowed eyebrows decreasing as he smiled over at me.

"Sounds good!" I said while flashing him a a huge smile. We make some chit chat while Paul finishes the pancakes and we eat them.

Le time skip~

"Those were great! Thank you so much those were great Pauly!" I said while going to place my dish in the sink as Paul had instructed.

"Pauly?" He says with a raised eyebrow.

"Well I feel Luke nicknames are in order, we're obviously going to be great friends!" I said back in a matter of fact type manor with my hands on my hips.

"Okay sounds good y/nn(nickname)" he said back with a grin. And just then a wolfs howl ripped through the air.

"Wolves, during the day? I thought they were like nocturnal or something?" I said shrugging. Paul looked at his phone then back at me.

"They're out a lot around these woods, probably since it's all foggy or something anyways I've gotta head to work in a few so I should get you home." Paul said hailed walking up to me his arm brushing mine before he placed his dishes in the sink, goose bumps exploded up my arm. I can't imagine how my body would react if it was a skin to skin contact. The images that care to mind with that thought causing a blush to spread across my cheeks.

"S-sounds good!" WHY DID I STUTTER??? Ughhhh I hate myself sometimes! I mentally scolded myself.

"You feeling all right?" Paul said looking at me confused.

"Mhmm." I said trying to reassure him as my face went red.

"You're all red." He said while placing the back of his hand on my forehead, the lack of space between us made my body and mind scream out. How does he have this effect on me??? Control yourself!

"I'm fine!" I squeak out while backing up away from the large man in front of me.

"You are pretty hot" he said which only cause my blush to rise I'm sure I look like a tomato now!

"Just go get ready for work!" I yelp while turning away from him. He mumbled something before heading upstairs.
