《Paul Lahote x Reader》Telling the pack

Last chapter: "Goodnight, y/n." Paul said before I heard the engine turn over and I reached the inside of the house. What was all that? I mentally scolded myself again. Freaking embarrassing!
Y/n POV
As I slid down the door I thought about the embarrassment I brought upon myself. Why am I the way I am?
"Ohhhhhh y/n got a boyfriend." I heard Milla say and it was at that point that moment that I realized the entire family minus Jacob were sitting in the living room staring at me. Flustered I stood dusting myself off and approached everyone.
"No, I do not." I said matter of factory hands on my hip staring at my sister.
"Who dropped you off?" My mom asked looking at the new hoodie that adorned my body. I blushed remembering the person who had lent it to me.
"One of Jake's friends, his names Paul. We all met at the beach today." I said like it was no big deal but for some reason the mention of his name made my heart flutter. I heard billy hum in acknowledgement before offering me some of the dinner mom had made. I sat down and ate with them before retiring to my room.
Paul POV
I drove off after dropping off Y/n and the further I got the heavier a pit in my stomach started to grow.
She had looked so cute in my hoodie, it was way to big for her and hung low around her thighs. She was adorable. How she couldn't get into the car, how she blushed every time she looked at me, she was intoxicating. Arriving at Sams I got out. He was our alpha and I had to tell him about her. I walked into Emily's house and the whole pack was there.

"Hey." I said getting there attention. They all looked over expectingly.
"Bro," Jake said looking at me accusingly. "Why do you smell like my cousin?" He asked crossing his arms over his chest.
"Well... about that." I said not sure how to put it. I saw Jakes expression change, he seemed to get angry probably thinking something bad happened. I was offended, I would never, do anything to hurt her.
"I think she might be my one." Everyone seemed shocked and Sam spoke up.
"You imprinted on her?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said rubbing the back of my neck smiling at the thought of my y/n. Everyone started congratulating me and high fiving me. Jake jokingly warned me about treating her right but he knew I would.
"So when are you gunna tell her?" Seth asked. I had thought about this. I want to ease her into it, I didn't want to sprint it on her.
"I'm going to give it some time. I want her to get to know me first." I said
"Wise. Now we've hung around long enough. It's time to patrol." Sam said, we all followed his lead outside and phased into our wolf forms to run around the boundary. I couldn't help but stay close to Billy's where I knew she was. Sniffing the air I found her window and her inside it laying on her bed inside her room, still wearing my hoodie. It gave me a sense of pride to see her wearing it. She was going to be mine.

The Downward Spiral
Blood? My wrist was covered in it. It wasn't dried up or reeked of the combination of that black gunk from all those other freaks. It was fresh and warm too. Where was it coming from? I checked my body. My t-shirt was splattered in everyone else's blood but my own. Turning over my hand, my eyes lowered to where Ray was holding onto me. I gasped and released him, covering my mouth to stop from screaming. "Holy shit dude! What happened to your-?!" Tears were forming in his eyes but he looked down and hid his hand from me. "Please d-don't worry about it. Let's just go find a real hospital already." He said while shaking. "I...I don't want to think about it right now O-okay? It's no big deal..It's just...it's a finger..." My mind went blank. I pulled him into a tight hug. I wanted to do nothing much but to cry right now. I got him into this mess. This was all my fault.
