《I'm in Corpse Party?》Chapter 3

You woke in a small room, surrounded by the three ghost children and Sachiko. You were overwhelmed by rage. "Why!? You want it to end too don't you?! I could have changed it!! You wouldn't have to bear the responsibility of their deaths anymore!! Why did you ruin it?!" You screamed at them through sobs. Sachiko spoke up, "We do want it to end (name)." "What?" You were so confused. Ryou walked up to you, "I'm really sorry I killed you, but it's who I am. I cant control myself. None of us can, no matter how much we want too." You wiped your tears and realized your abdomen was intact again. "We have a type of laws, and we cant go against them. But nothing says we cant revive you." Yuki said. You stared, "Revive? As in every time I die I'll wake up again totally fine?" Tokiko nodded. "But that doesn't mean you will feel nothing in death." You nodded, (eye color) orbs glistening. 'This is some freaky Edge of Tomorrow stuff.' You thought as you picked yourself up and thanked the spirits. Sachiko hugged you, "please save them (name)" "I will" you smiled, and set off in search of Seiko and Naomi since Seiko died first if you remembered correctly. After locating the bathroom, you crouched behind a bin and waited. Finally Seiko showed up, looking for her Sachiko doll scrap, with Naomi stalking in the shadows. She was in a trance as she approached Seiko, rope in hand. But before she could do anything, you lept from your hiding place and tackled the possessed girl. Seiko screamed as she watched you pry the rope from Naomi's hands and throw it across the hall. "That's my friend! What are you doing to her! Let her go!" Seiko was oblivious to the foreign fog in Naomi's eyes. "She isn't herself!" You yelled. "She's being controlled! She planned on hanging you in the bathroom with that rope." Seiko was frozen, watching the struggle before her. Suddenly hands wrapped around your neck, and they tightened as Naomi strangled you. You desperately tried to free yourself to no avail, but just before everything went black, the haze in Naomi's eyes vanished, and you gasped for air. "W-what happened? Seiko? What's going on?" After a few minutes you could almost breathe normal again. "Y-you we-re being c-cont-rolled... Tried t-to kill S-Seiko..." Naomi gasped. "I would never!" But Seiko finally snapped out of it. "You were gonna hang me in the bathroom Naomi. I saw it." "No I couldn't possibly be capable-" you cut her off. "It wasnt you thats why. It doesn't matter now, I have to find the infirmary. Stay on your guard, both of you. Okay?" The two girls nodded as you sprinted away to find the next victim.

After escaping from the Guild of Arcane Regulation and the Bureau of Secret Enforcement, Callum has lost his greatest protection: his obscurity. Now Callum is forced to decide how he wants to approach the supernatural world, and how he’s going to keep himself secure when the apparatus of government is arrayed against him. Even if he wanted to live as a mage, that bridge has been thoroughly burned, and even if he wanted to live as a normal person, he is far too deep to close his eyes to what he’s seen. Sometimes my voice dies in my throat, buries itself beneath waves of crippling suffocation, burns itself out as cold hands tear at my laced skin. I have smiled while my eyes have cried and pleaded, my wrists numb, my lips wobbling and blue, and stars escaping this dark night that I'm trapped in. I long for a darkness that gives way to light. But I do feel the warmth of petals gathering and scattering in my cold bones, and imagine the touch and the sweetness of a kiss, and my heart rises to the surface of this sea and finds a sky painted by passing artists remaining far above our heads. I'm breathing out all the words I've kept locked under the pages of my breaking mind. And by doing so, I'm going to heal.TRIGGER WARNINGS: depression, anxiety, self harm, suicidal thoughts, OCD, panic attacks
