"I know we hurt you, Kunti." Pandu said looking down,not looking at her face.

Pandu came back to Hastinapur with newly wed Madri. Kunti who was hurt but still welcomes them.

"Not 'we' but 'you' did hurt me, maharaj." She replied. Her voice do tell that she indeed was upset.

"Kunti, my love for you is still same, please, believe me." He try to hold her hands.

She looks at the way how their hands are tangled and then glance at her husband.

It's common to have multiple wives.

Pandu gave a peck on her forehead. "You are and will remain my and Hastinapur's chief queen. No matter what you always have my heart."

Poor kunti has no choice other than to accept the marriage. She smiles and hugs Madri and later Pandu, keeping her head on his chest but mind elsewhere.

She even prepare the bed for their first night.

She retires in her room lost in her thoughts. Ofcourse, she will get more comfortable with time.

There is no rule broken, just some hearts which later on compromise with situation.
